Deliverance From Kundalini 

Breaking the Kundalini spirit takes work. It requires multiple sessions to achieve success. Like Luke 11:21-22, which deals with the strongman, it holds in lesser demons. The Kundalini spirit pushes up the less-powerful Kundalini spirit first before eventually getting to the leading Kundalini spirit. In that order, you also deal with Leviathan, Python, cockatrice, Behemoth, and Jezebel. First, working with unforgiveness, self-unforgiveness, and breaking word curses spoken by the enemy and people. Then, we break curses or spells executed by witches, warlocks, root workers, or any practitioner of witchcraft. You also have to deal with vows and judgments made. Many other areas we look at to get the person free.

Protecting Your Peace: The Power of Setting Healthy Boundaries

Bring Peace to Self and Less-Anger and Frustrations

Are boundaries biblical? Yes. Boundaries keep us from getting out of balance. Otherwise, becomes a doormat for abusive people to wipe their feet on. 

• Do you feel guilty for setting boundaries? 
• Do you try to please all people and make them happy when it is impossible to please all? 
• You never wanted anyone to be upset with you? 
• Have you been severely hurt by others where your heart feels like it is bleeding?

People without boundaries think we must always put up with abusive behavior. In Matthew 5:39 it says,

"If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also." 

This is avoiding fights. People without boundaries take it to an extreme. People without boundaries would say - Yes, in a heated moment, turn the other cheek to avoid escalating it into something worse. If you have someone in your life who regularly hits you with their cruel words, it is time to stop getting close to them. Set boundaries.

Personal boundaries define your identity. They are how much you value yourself, believe, need, or feel.

In relationships, boundaries define one person from another. Boundaries prevent us from trying to control others and prevent others from controlling us. We cannot change anyone; we can only change ourselves.

Boundaries range from a simple "no" to a restraining order. If a person violates the boundaries, allow them to suffer the consequences. 

Are Boundaries Biblical

God set boundaries in his creation when God gave Adam and Eve boundaries to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen 3:23-24).

The Bible teaches that we should respect other people's boundaries. Deut. 19:14 says, "You shall not move your neighbor's boundary mark, which the ancestors have set, in your inheritance which you will inherit in the land that the Lord your God gives you to possess."

Since boundaries are biblical, why do so many of us struggle with setting boundaries? Let's look at some misconceptions of boundaries.

1. Misbeliefs about boundaries - I'm being selfish and unloving

2. If I set them, will others get upset

3. If I set boundaries, I will hurt others

1. I'm being selfish.

We are commanded to love others. It does not mean allowing others to hurt us. Loving others does not mean giving them all they want. Do you give your children everything they want? 

Some people feel guilty about setting boundaries or even being selfish. No one can make you feel guilty without your permission. Yes, some people will get angry but realize it is about them, not you.

2. Others will get upset. 

Fear that you may upset others. Would you allow people to abuse and hurt you? Maybe you are a stuffer, but the outcome is that you are angry. It is saying yes to people out of fear. Fear is controlling and is the opposite of peace and joy.

Yes, others may get angry. Why fight or defend yourself. We must learn to back away and talk sensibly. Someone who gets angry is reacting to some pain from their past. Their anger is trying to control you. We cannot control how others respond to "No."

Boundaries test the quality of our relationships. The people who love you will respect your limits. The people who turn on you or leave you have never loved you. You cannot make someone love you. There are manipulators and controllers. Boundaries protect you from them. If people abandon or attack us for having boundaries, yes, it's better to learn their character now than live with it forever. 

3. I will hurt others

Good boundaries do not control, attack, or hurt others. Saying "no" to someone may cause temporary discomfort. It helps others to respond correctly. 

As you develop boundaries, you will have less anger in your life. People with mature boundaries are the least angry people in the world. 

Some people believe you must be available to them at all hours if you are a minister. Good boundaries allow you to rest. Jesus took time to relax. 

Healthy relationships require boundaries:

Are you protecting yourself from harm, either emotionally or physically? Then, you are setting good boundaries. Some people will twist your words and think they have the right to abuse you. Some people believe they have the right to confess their sins because of their need. We all react out of the pain of something in the past. Those are negative emotions of reaction. We must be proactive. 

If someone is upset and abusing you for something they believe without asking questions about what you meant, then back away. Tell them when you can cool down, and we can discuss. There is no need to defend yourself. It does not work. That is healthy boundaries. It is walking away from a heated situation. The fact is, they have a problem. Something must have been triggered. You can say, "Are you ok, or is there something deeper that we can talk about or pray about?"

This is taking control without reaction but a good response. Pull away if they are still yelling and unwilling to talk. Tell them that you cannot engage during this heightened situation. We have to be responsible for ourselves and allow others to live theirs. Realize this person is triggered by something in their past. It is their problem. 

If they are willing to discuss, ask why they thought about your response. Boundaries limit destructive behaviors, will save marriages, and help in healthy parenting. 

Setting boundaries in children helps them to set boundaries later in life. Healthy boundaries are to make sacrifices for people when appropriate, but never in a destructive manner.

Being Christ-life means saying "no" in unselfish, helpful ways.

Unlocking Harmony: The Power of Submission in Building a Strong Family Foundation

To Have Authority, Submit Under Authority: The Key to a Harmonious Home

In every household, a principle governs relationships: to have authority, you must submit to authority. This fundamental concept plays a crucial role in maintaining peace and harmony within the home. In the context of marriage, the husband is seen as the spiritual leader who holds authority in Christ when he operates under the covering of authority. Similarly, the wife also carries authority when she willingly submits to her husband's leadership.

The Chain of Authority in the Home

When the chain of authority is broken, chaos and discord can infiltrate the home. If the husband fails to submit to Christ or the wife refuses to adhere to the principles outlined in God's word, it opens the door for spiritual attacks. This breakdown affects the relationship between the husband and wife and has a ripple effect on their children. Rebellion, disorder, and disharmony can manifest, leading to a destabilized household.

Following the Example of Jesus

Looking at the ultimate example of authority and submission, we see Jesus Christ under the authority of the Father (John 10:30). Just as in a marriage where two individuals become one, there is harmony when everyone understands their place and authority. Additionally, the Bible emphasizes the importance of honoring and respecting the Son, Jesus, who was given authority over all creation (John 5:23).

Upholding Honor and Respect within the Family

In a marriage, the husband is designated as the spiritual leader who should ensure his wife is honored, respected, and valued. The husband creates an atmosphere of unity and peace by promoting his wife's position and setting her up for honor within the home. Derek Prince aptly stated, "No head can function without a neck to hold it up," illustrating the necessity of the wife's support and submission in maintaining harmony.

The Role of the Wife in Supporting the Husband

The wife should not have to seek her own honor or establish her position within the household. When she feels cherished, esteemed, and respected by her husband, she does not need to fight for recognition or independence. This mutual respect and support between husband and wife fosters rest, security, and harmony within the home.

The Importance of Unity and Order

When the husband aligns himself with the teachings of Jesus, the entire family benefits from unity, peace, and rest. By upholding his role as the protector of the household, the husband ensures that the demonic forces are kept at bay. Disorder and disharmony within the home can lead to manifestations of rebellion, strife, and even physical ailments among the children.

Maintaining Unity in Marriage

Jesus' humility in acknowledging the Father's authority is a model for husbands and wives in maintaining unity within the family. The wife's willingness to yield to her husband's authority creates a strong foundation for unity and order within the household. By honoring and respecting each other's positions, both husband and wife contribute to the overall well-being of the family unit.

In conclusion, the key to a harmonious home lies in the principle of authority and submission. When both husband and wife understand their roles and responsibilities and submit to higher authorities, such as Christ, peace and harmony reign within the household. By upholding honor, respect, and unity, the family can thrive and withstand any challenges that come their way.

Children and teenagers bring things into your house. Or adults that go to garage sales, inherit old furniture, things given to you from friends or family that bring relics and idols from other countries dedicated to a foreign god. Below are demonic symptoms from cursed objects. 

• Pornography - of any kind (videos, magazines, books, internet, cable, satellite)
• Demonic music, Rock and Roll, and Subliminal music - operate on stimuli to awaken the energy center (in the brain) and to expand mental awareness, tapes or CDs of Indian/African drumming and/or chanting (rituals of channeling spirits) new age music or soaking music (music to go inward and open you up to the second heaven), TAPES, CD’S, OR EVEN INSTRUMENTS (i.e. rain sticks) WITH THE SOUNDS OF NATURE (used in false eastern meditation)
• Movies - Demonic movies aim to frighten, deceive, and familiarize children with hideous characters, to entice children to accept evil as good, etc.
• Fairy Tales and Walt Disney - Time Warner movies are full of cabalistic practices.
• Star Wars: The theme is based on a cosmic force taken from Zen Buddhism and Eastern religions.
• Movies containing horror, vampires, and werewolves. (*for important information about the vampire and the authentic evil sexual spirit behind its legend, see my document on ‘Lilith and vampirism’; and for important information on the were-wolf see my document on ‘Lycanthropy or mental shape-shifting’ – watching these movies is not entertaining but is spiritually dangerous*)
• Movies that promote time/mind travel – the equivalent to out of body [astral projection]; or the false belief that a person could have lived before in another time, which is the false belief of reincarnation. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2:  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.  A time to be born, and a time to die…; Hebrews 9:27:  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.)
• Cartoons - Cartoons draw on Egyptology - Isis; mythology, witchcraft, occult, Smurfs, Dungeons " Dragons, Little People and Gremlins.
• Smurfs: (German word for demon) - Papa Smurf is a wizard who casts spells and mixes potions, often referring to Beelzebub (Satan) in the cartoons.
• AVATAR (a popular children’s cartoon. This is the name of a supreme god in Hindu philosophy/religion – in their religion, their false gods even have their own false god [avatar] who reigns over them)
• Video games - incite destruction and death.
• Board Games - These games open children to the influence of occult power, wizardry, violence, mind control, and witchcraft: Thundar-Barbarian, Pandemonium, Magic 8 Ball, Monster Mansion, Krull (occult with sorcerer), Herself the Elf, Gremlins, Dragon Master, Mythical Cards, Dungeon, Ouija, Dark Towers, Magical Crystals, Dragon Lords, Towers of Night, Forest of Doom, Fires of Shadarr, Star Wars and Yoda, Fantasy Card Game, Hell Pits of Night-Fang, Rune Quest, Chivalry, Sorcery, and Arduin-Grimoire.
• Demonic dolls/toys - Dolls originated in voodoo. The dictionary defines a doll as a small carved or molded figure serving as a cult object or representing a nursery story, cartoon, or puppet character.
• Cabbage Patch Dolls: Creates soul tie with child; mockery of life, death, and natural emotions.
• Gremlins: Violent, sadistic; use transformation (New Age concept), Cannibalism, and promotional schemes from the English word germane to vex.
• Ventriloquism Dolls and/or anything to do with ventriloquism or Patomomime The Hebrew word for ‘spirit(s)’ in Leviticus 19:31; Leviticus 20:6; Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:11; I Samuel 28:7-8; II Kings 21:6; II Kings 23:24; I Chronicles 10:13; Isaiah 8:19; and Isaiah 19:3 is “owb, obe; …a mumble …skin (from its hollow sound); hence, a necromancer (ventriloquist, as speaking from a jar)… bottle… familiar spirit”.  Owb, obe is also the same Hebrew word for ‘spirit’ in Isaiah 29:4:  And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.  This scripture more accurately describes the voice of ventriloquism!  Also see Deuteronomy 18:10-11 and Isaiah 8:19.  (Important, see my documents on ‘ventriloquism’ and ‘pantomime’)
• Statues and pictures - stuffed animals, owls, frogs, unicorns, dragons, horseshoes; items from other countries such as Africa, China, and Japan; American Indian artifacts, carvings, pictures, and Buddha statues. The popular goose with the blue ribbon around its neck is an Egyptian god found on kitchen canisters, curtains, paper towels, plates, and baskets. Mexican sun gods; idols; Egyptian gods,
• Gargoyles (usually placed on the outer walls at Roman Catholic Cathedrals as some sort of protectors; Ezekiel 8:9-10:  And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.  So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.),
• Great Sphynx (bestiality),
• Snake statues and images - (In scripture, Satan is referred to as a serpent; he also used a serpent to beguile Eve – he can surely use an image/idol of one as a spiritual doorway into our home! II Corinthians 11:3; Revelation 12:9, 14-15; 20:2), Wolf Status - (popular image/power animal of the shaman; also see my document on ‘Lycanthropy or mental shape-shifting’)
• Pictures of Stonehenge (astrological monument)
• Pictures/images of any pyramids (including Mayan flat-topped pyramids because they were used for human, many times child, sacrifice)

• drugs,
• Drawings and art - (Under hallucinogenic stimulus- art produced while under the influence of drugs)
• Ouija boards or other occult paraphernalia, good luck charms
• Books and literature – demonic books, new age books, witchcraft books - false religions, cults, the occult and spiritualism, anything connected with astrology, horoscopes, fortune telling, etc.,
• Books conjuring up angels, visionary dreams, or lucid dreaming (Jeremiah 29:8:  For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.  Jeremiah 23:25: Ecclesiastes 5:7:
• Jewelry – masonic ring, hex signs, ancient geometric and mystical motifs. Jewelry is designed to bring good luck and act as a talisman to chase evil. Egyptian ankh, broken cross (peace symbol), chais, Polynesian tikki's of gods, African jujus, Italian horn, protectors from the evil eye, hand with index and little fingers pointing up, clovers, stars, wishbones, lucky coins, mystic medals, horseshoes, religious fetishes and statues, crystal jewelry to bring healing and protection, mardi gras necklaces.‟Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them, And tookest thy embroidered garments, and covered them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them,”(Ezek. 16:17,18).

• Incense – Most incense are sold in curio and novelty shops was manufactured by devotees of the Hare Krishna cult and is dedicated to this demon god of the Hindus and can cause much trouble.
• Masks - African or Mexican masks, shields, statues, etc. Mask, frequently with an elaborate costume, is a way of concealing and submerging your personality and identifying yourself with a spirit or other supernatural character in dance or drama.13 African jujus (shaped like snakes, hands, figures, and other things.
• American Indian items - Any items that are used in the worship of false gods and witchcraft, dreamcatchers, medicine shields, Hopa dolls, Kokopelli (in Hopi),
• Totem poles (are associated with ancestral spirits; also, totems usually depict the false animal spirit worshipped by the family as the clan’s spirit guide. Isaiah 44:19:  …shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?)
• Kachina dolls - Indian spirit lore; they symbolize false gods),
• Pictures or statues of warrior Indians (full headdress and/or peace pipe; each feather being symbolic of an achievement done while under the direction of a false spirit guide, and usually accompanied with meditation),
• Things dug up from any type of sacred grounds (especially sacred burial grounds) – you are putting a curse on you.
• Catholic idols, Statues and articles of images of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, saints, Rosary beads, metals dedicated to saints and holy people, and relics (pieces of bone or objects from dead saints). "In almost all countries then, we meet with something like prayer counters or rosary beads. ". . . including a sculpture of ancient Nineveh, mentioned by Layard, of two-winged females praying before a sacred tree, each holding a rosary. For centuries, among the Mohammedans, a bead string consisting of 33, 66, or 99 beads has been used for counting the names of Allah. Marco Polo, in the thirteenth century, was surprised to find the King of Malabar using a rosary of precious stones to count his prayers. St. Francis Xavier and his companion were equally astonished to see that rosaries were universally familiar to the Buddhists of Japan. Among the Phoenicians a circle of beads resembling a rosary was used to worship Astarte, the mother goddess, about 800 B. C.
• Aroma Therapy (a new-age product, the label will typically say for the mind, body, and spirit – aroma therapy is holistic healing: in holistic healing they try to treat not only the body but the person’s spirit, the problem is this physical/spiritual healing has nothing to do with God’s Holy Spirit; also see my document on ‘perfumed oil’) - Some blends are man’s ideas and can have powerful demons attached to them.
• Healing Modalities – anything to do with yoga Pilates, Auric Healing, Reiki, (Channeling energy, feng shui, reflexology, healing magnetism (includes magnetic bracelets, bands, insoles, back braces, mattresses, etc. – healing magnetism allegedly generates a life-force, within one's own Self)
• Vitamins – be careful why they are made. Some are prayed or shaken to bring in the demonic world – energy.
• Beverages named after nature (such as earth, wind, fire, rain, etc; or beverages that are for the mind, body, and spirit; this includes tea; always read labels)
• Bones or Taxidermy (All bones are to return to the ground; Genesis 2:19: And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
• Bonsai Trees (ones that have been shaped as a false god at the time of purchase or that have a paper claiming they bring good fortune)
• Gazing Balls (usually found in yards, gardens, etc, all are new-age)
• Hawaiian Lei (those worn by hula dancers are generally dedicated to false gods; check Hawaiian culture)
• Angels (pictures and/or status) (this includes the male, female (which is actually Lilith), and the so-called baby angel, which is really Cupid; ask for my document on ‘Cupid’, and for my document on ‘angel statues and images’ and most important on ‘Lilith’; also in Acts 7:42-43 the Greek word for ‘host’ is “stratia, strat-ee’-ah; …the angels, the celestial luminaries”.)
• Pagan monuments (pictures or status) - (this includes the Statue of Liberty and the Washington monument or obelisk; see my documents on ‘Freemasonry’ or on ‘Paganism and the Statue of Liberty’ for more on America’s pagan monuments)
• Witchcraft Modalities - Tarah Cards, satanic bible
• Wind Chimes (in Chinese false religious philosophy, it is believed that some wind chimes ward off what they refer to as lousy chi [life energy]; wind chimes are tuned to ward off evil – but in reality draw evil spirits)
• New Age Modalities - YIN/YANG SYMBOL (a false spiritual symbol that is based on the balance of forces, or Taoism; also see my document on ‘martial arts’)

Deaf and Dumb Meaning

‭‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭17‬-‭25‬ ‭

”And one of the throng replied to Him, Teacher, I brought my son to You, for he has a dumb spirit. And wherever it lays hold of him [so as to make him its own], it dashes him down and convulses him, and he foams [at the mouth] and grinds his teeth, and he [falls into a motionless stupor and] is wasting away. And I asked Your disciples to drive it out, and they were not able [to do it]. And He answered them, O unbelieving generation [without any faith]! How long shall I [have to do] with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to Me. So they brought [the boy] to Him, and when the spirit saw Him, at once it completely convulsed the boy, and he fell to the ground and kept rolling about, foaming [at the mouth]. And [Jesus] asked his father, How long has he had this? And he answered, From the time he was a little boy. 

And it has often thrown him both into fire and into water, intending to kill him. But if You can do anything, do have pity on us and help us. And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes! At once the father of the boy gave [an eager, piercing, inarticulate] cry with tears, and he said, Lord, I believe! [Constantly] help my weakness of faith! But when Jesus noticed that a crowd [of people] came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you to come out of him and never go into him again.“

What is the deaf and dumb spirit? It is a blockage of the spiritual ear of the believer. It is a spirit against the church attempting to justify and perpetuate a religious spirit. It cuts off faith so a religious spirit can begin to reign in this environment without faith. The deaf and dumb spirit cuts off the believer's hearing of the Word of God and stops their faith from growing. (Romans 10:17) This spirit desires to keep you where you are at and away from the revelation found in God's Word. It also seeks bondage rather than the freedom that is yours through Christ as a believer.

Six Characteristics of the Deaf and Dumb Spirit

From my experience and research, I have found there to be at least five distinct characteristics of this Deaf and Dumb demonic spirit.

1. Epilepsy - convulsions
2. Problems with Detachment – Matthew 17:15
   “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and is very ill; for the often falls in to the fire and often into the water.”
3. Falls to Sleep – Luke 22:45
   “When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow.”
4. Dull of Hearing – Hebrews 5:11-13
   “Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.”
5. Walks in a Stupor – Romans 11:8
   “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes to see not and ears to hear not, down to the very day.”

When ministering prayer for deliverance and breakthrough, it is a position of all-out warfare with the forces of evil. Many people have fallen by the wayside because of ignorance of the Bible and of deliverance. A person will live with their demons of torment. 

Spiritual Deliverance

Demons can be very stubborn and highly seductive. A person's demons just don't come out when there is unconfessed sin, curses, soul ties, etc. Especially in habitual sins that have created strongholds and bondages in their soul. A minister needs the client to confess and renounce.  

Keys to Deliverance

In 2 Corin. 5:17 it says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new." Do you see the second part highlighted? That is progressive. It is a lifetime to break down strongholds in your thinking that you gained growing up. Some of those strongholds in a person keep them stuck into bondages. 

After deliverance, A minister must teach a client how to renew their minds to continue to walk in freedom. This is a lifetime practice for all Christians.

If you dive too deep into the practice, you’ll be blamed for your failures, health conditions, and traumas. No matter what happens to you, you are the events' co-creators, even on a collective level.

While this topic is debated and studied, the Bible has quite a bit to say about it:

1. All powers are ordained by God and subject to God (Job 1:12; Psalms 147:5; Matthew 28:18; John 19:11; Romans 8:38-39; Romans 13:1; Ephesians 3:1-12; Colossians 1:13-17; Colossians 2:15; 1 Peter 3:22; Jude 1:25)

2. Human minds have no supernatural power of their own (Deuteronomy 8:14-18; Luke 8:22-25; Ephesians 2:1-7; Ephesians 6:10-13; 2 Peter 1:3)

3. Humans do not have the power over death (Ecclesiastes 8:8; Matthew 9:6; Revelation 20:6)

4. Humans can only get power from God (Psalms 68:35; Proverbs 3:27; Ecclesiastes 5:19; Isaiah 40:27-31; Zechariah 4:6; Mark 6:7; Luke 24:49; John 1:12; Acts 1:7-8)

5. Humans that seek powers from other sources, misuse power, or resist the power of God shall be rebuked or damned by God (Deuteronomy 8:19-20; Ezra 8:22; Micah 2:1-4; Luke 4:3-8; Luke 22:53; Acts 8:10; Romans 13:2; 1 Corinthians 9:12-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10; Revelation 13:4-10)

How is the law of attraction promoted?

Humans do not have any inherent supernatural power. However, the Law of Attraction is promoted openly and secretly as follows:

1. Mediation apart from God’s Word
2. Yoga (Hindu worship practice of becoming one with the Brahman)
3. New Age Power
4. Buddhism/ Karma
5. Theophostic counseling
6. Power of positive thinking
7. Crystal self-healing
8. Cosmic ordering
9. Mind over matter
10. Think and Grow Rich
11. Mindfulness
12. Contemplative psychotherapy

Most of these promoted “New Thought” Law of Attraction practices are not new. However, the teachings continue to be repackaged so it may be taught in schools and medical practices and fully endorsed by psychology practitioners so that more and more people accept them into their lives. This is despite many studies showing that, at best, these practices have a placebo effect that convinces people that they have the power to do things that are helping them “reach their full potential.” According to Scripture, these practices are nothing more than the worship of devils (1 Corinthians 10:20-21; 1 Timothy 4:1). Therefore, we should avoid these practices (Romans 16:17-18; 2 Corinthians 6:11-18).

Sadly, if people would spend a fraction of the time learning how to be empowered from on high by the Holy Spirit, they would learn that there is a source of power which enables us to do all things (Philippians 4:13). That power comes from the power of God through the Gospel of salvation (Romans 1:16) that keeps us secure in the hand of God (John 10:28-29; 1 Peter 1:5) and gives us peace and power beyond all understanding (Philippians 4:6-9; 2 Timothy 1:7).

Conclusion

The Law of Attraction, also called new thought, is a belief system that teaches that humans have the power to affect supernatural events with concentrated thinking or meditation. It is not unique because it has been around in many forms and under differing names since the beginning of human history. Those who participate in the associated practices are doing nothing more spiritually than worshiping devils, whether they know it or not. The solution to having supernatural power is through the power of the Holy Spirit, Who enables us to use God’s power to love God and our neighbor.

The significant difference between the Law of Attraction and the message of the Bible is that when you ask for something, you should ask God directly in the context of a personal relationship, as opposed to a cosmic “Universe” force that is somewhere out there. We must believe He hears us and will answer our prayers when we ask. We need to be cautious not to visualize something to the point that we are meditating on the item we are asking for. This could easily cross over into idolatry. Remember that God is the giver and the source of all good gifts.

Even though there are elements of truth in the claim of The Secret, they are very clear that they are not talking about asking the God of the Bible. They view God as a positive energy or force and not as a personal relationship. If you practice the Law of Attraction, do not remove the source of true life and renewed thinking. The people who took these biblical principles out of context and developed this humanistic teaching are in danger of being blind to the greater truth. They might be tapping into God’s principles but not into God’s love and power.

The missing element of the Law of Attraction is the principle of seeking God first and ensuring that what you ask for is in His will and timing for your life. This balance is the powerful spiritual principle that will allow all the things we need to flow to us instead of us trying to visually divert them our way.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Its claim is that your thoughts cause the things that happen to you. If you think about a clear road home, the universe will deliver it. If you think about an empty parking space, the universe will manifest one in front of your car. If you think about having an income of $100,000, you shall have it. A beautiful wife? That too.

The Secret is not a secret at all, but recycled Hinduism, shamanism, and New Age folly. Its claim is one of many huge lies: “You create your own reality with your mind.” This was the serpent’s false promise to Eve-the promise of godhood (Gen 3:5). Embracing that delusion cost Eve and her descendants Eden’s paradise-and would have barred mankind from heaven had not Christ died for the sins of the world. In the 6,000 years since Eden, the serpent’s promise has not been fulfilled in even one person’s life.

“Jerry and Esther Hicks are two psychics who claim to channel a cluster of spirits called Abraham. They are authors of the Law of Attraction, which influenced Rhonda Byrne, author of ‘The Secret’, which teaches that people can create their own reality just by thinking it into existence. ‘What the mind can perceive, the body can achieve,’ they like to say. In the law of attraction, God, if He even exists, is nothing more than a universal energy force we manipulate by our thoughts and feelings. The law of attraction/ ‘The Secret’ assumes a pantheistic (God is everything) view of God. The law of attraction denies the ideas of a person God of the Bible (with thoughts, feelings, and emotions). To the proponents of the law of attraction, we are all ‘incarnations of God’ – we all are our own gods, reminiscent of the lie the crafty serpent told Eve in the Garden. Jerry Hicks learned to channel spirits using the Ouija board, a divination tool sure to conjure demonic spirits. Jerry (who recently died) was influenced by Napoleon Hill, who himself was influenced by demonic spirits. His wife, Esther, visited a psychic who encouraged them to meditate. That is when she felt something ‘breathing’ or forcing air in and out of her lungs. After the session, her teeth buzzed, leading to her experience with Abraham. After 9 months of meditating, her head moved around, and her nose wrote in the air, ‘I am Abraham. I am your spiritual guide. I love you. I am here to work with you.’ These spirit guides are demonic spirits masquerading as they teach the doctrine of devils whose teaching doesn’t line up with the word of God found in the Bible. These demonic spirits will never direct a person to the Jesus of the Bible, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Test everything by the word of God.”
