Aromatherapy Oils Therapy

Discovery Health Aromatherapy – Exposing the Truth for Christians

Discovery Health Aromatherapy – Exposing the Truth for Christians

Aromatherapy is often presented as a harmless health remedy. From calming lavender sprays to energizing peppermint oils, it’s praised for reducing stress, improving sleep, and balancing emotions. But beneath the fragrant surface lies a deeper spiritual concern that discerning Christians must not ignore.

According to a promotional excerpt for aromatherapy:

"Aromatherapists, practitioners of alternative medicine, and anyone wishing to use aromatherapy to maintain a peaceful equilibrium or bring about positive change... concentrate on the mood-changing effects of natural oils."

It sounds peaceful, even holistic. But how does this practice align with Scripture and Christian discernment?

🔎 Ancient Roots with Occult Overtones

Aromatherapy dates back thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians used scented oils for embalming the dead, while the distillation process we use today originated with the Arab physician Avicenna. The Knights Templar later brought it into Europe—groups long associated with mysticism and esoteric knowledge.

Many today describe aromatherapy as “the use of essential oils for therapeutic effects on the body, mind, and spirit.” This spiritual focus is not incidental. Essential oils are often used in rituals, energy healing, meditation, and mood-altering practices—closely tied to New Age and occult worldviews.

The company Ancient Healing Art promotes its oils as tools for:

  • Emotional and hormonal balance

  • Calmness and stress relief

  • Rejuvenation

  • “Inner guidance” and more

This language mirrors practices like Reiki, chakra balancing, and divination, all of which open the door to deceptive spiritual forces masquerading as light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

🙅‍♀️ Misuse of Scripture and the Anointing Oil

Some Christians justify the use of essential oils by pointing to biblical anointing. Yes, the Bible mentions oils and perfumes, but context matters.

James 5:14-15 (KJV) provides clear instruction:

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up...”

The emphasis is on prayer and faith, not on the oil itself. The healing comes from the Lord, not from the oil's chemical or mystical properties. Anointing oil was symbolic of the Holy Spirit, not a therapeutic solution sourced from New Age blending.

Sadly, many believers today use essential oils with intentions rooted in self-healing, emotional manipulation, or energy control, unknowingly engaging in disobedience and spiritual risk.

⚠️ Dowsing and Pendulum Use: The Occult Connection

Aromatherapy often intertwines with dowsing—a form of divination used to “intuitively” choose the correct oil or dosage. Dowsing uses a pendulum, which swings in response to yes/no questions asked mentally or aloud. Practitioners claim the pendulum reveals hidden knowledge or inner guidance.

"Ask the pendulum, 'What is the direction for yes?' and 'What is the direction for no?' Then, use it to answer questions—sometimes even determining a baby's gender."

This is pure divination, condemned by God.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (KJV) clearly warns:

“There shall not be found among you...a diviner...or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord.”

When I was 19, an older Christian woman recommended pendulum dowsing to determine a baby’s gender. She didn’t even realize she was drawing from occultism. It breaks my heart to see believers deceived, because this practice opens demonic portals under the guise of “intuition” or “inner peace.”

✝️ Rooted in Christ, Not Scents or Energy

As Christians, we are to be rooted and built up in Jesus Christ, not alternative therapies.

Colossians 2:7 (KJV) says:

“Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

Aromatherapy may smell good—but is it spiritually good? If its foundation is built on manipulation of moods, mystical healing, and tools of divination, it’s a slippery slope away from the true Healer—Jesus Christ.

We must not trade biblical faith for sensual, soulish experiences. The Holy Spirit does not need aromatic assistance. True peace comes from surrendering to Christ, not from an oil blend promising “inner balance.”

🚨 Final Warning and Call to Discernment

Dear believer, test the spirits (1 John 4:1). Just because something is marketed as “natural” or “healing” doesn’t mean it’s of God. Aromatherapy, when tied to spiritual healing or used with divination tools like pendulums, becomes a gateway to demonic influence.

👉 Repent for any ungodly use of oils or occult tools.
👉 Anoint only as the Bible commands, under submission to Christ.
👉 Seek healing through prayer, Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

🧘‍♂️Yoga’s Hidden Dangers

Yoga’s Occult Roots: How This Hindu Practice Invites Demonic Influence

Yoga’s Occult Roots: How This Hindu Practice Invites Demonic Influence

🧘‍♂️Yoga’s Hidden Dangers: A Christian Deliverance Perspective

Yoga is often viewed in the West as a harmless form of exercise, promoting health and relaxation. But the origins of yoga tell a very different story—one that opens believers to serious spiritual deception and demonic bondage. As Christians, we must be vigilant about practices that originate from pagan religions and lead us away from the truth of Jesus Christ.

🔍 Where Did Yoga Come From?

Yoga originated over 5,000 years ago in ancient India and was practiced by Hindu ascetics and mystics. It was never intended to be just a physical workout. Every pose, breath technique, and meditation practice was designed to awaken spiritual energy and unite the practitioner with Hindu deities.

The word “yoga” means “union” — specifically, union with the universal consciousness, not the God of the Bible. It is the gateway to achieving “samadhi,” the superconscious state that bypasses rational thought and merges one’s self with Atman, the Hindu concept of the Universal Soul.

Scripture warns of this:

"What fellowship has light with darkness?" – 2 Corinthians 6:14

⚠️ The Real Purpose: Awakening the Chakras and Kundalini

In yoga, the chakras are believed to be spiritual energy centers along the spine. Each yoga pose (asana) and breathing technique (pranayama) is meant to stimulate and awaken these chakras, especially the one at the base of the spine—where the kundalini serpent energy lies “coiled.”

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning “coiled serpent.” It is the spiritual force yoga seeks to awaken and raise through the chakras to the crown of the head, opening the “third eye.”

This energy is directly tied to Hindu goddesses, such as Kali, the goddess of destruction. One cannot separate the physical discipline of yoga from its spiritual foundation, which is pantheistic and demonic.

“They sacrificed to demons, not to God, to gods they did not know...” – Deuteronomy 32:17

👿 What Happens Spiritually?

When you do yoga, even just for exercise, you are unknowingly participating in a religious ritual rooted in Hindu mysticism and occultism. You're aligning your body and mind with demonic forces by:

  • Opening your gates (chakras) to spiritual entities

  • Inviting the kundalini serpent spirit

  • Submitting your body to Hindu gods through posture and breath

  • Entering altered states of consciousness (samadhi) that disconnect you from biblical truth

The Bible tells us not to engage with other gods or spiritual forces:

“Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves any gods of cast metal: I am the Lord your God.” – Leviticus 19:4

🧠 Mystical Experiences = Demonic Encounters

Yoga masters, both Hindu and Buddhist, describe samadhi as a state of superconsciousness where the ego dissolves and one becomes “enlightened.” Christians may mistakenly think this is the peace of God, but it's a counterfeit.

“For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” – 2 Corinthians 11:14

Former practitioners have testified to seeing lights, hearing voices, and even levitating or experiencing physical convulsions. These are not signs of peace but manifestations of demons, masquerading as light and peace. The kundalini spirit can cause:

  • Sudden body jerks or spasms

  • Sleep paralysis

  • Night terrors

  • Mental confusion or obsession

  • Visions and hallucinations

🧬 Generational and Soul Ties

If your ancestors practiced yoga, Hinduism, Buddhism, martial arts, or meditation, demonic spirits may still be operating in your bloodline. These inherited soul ties must be broken through repentance and deliverance.

“I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.” – Exodus 20:5

🚫 Christians Practicing Yoga = Open Door

Many Christian churches now offer “Holy Yoga,” “Christian Yoga,” or “Stretching with Jesus.” But you cannot Christianize something founded on demonic worship.

“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.” – 1 Corinthians 10:21

Even using the yoga names for God, like “universal spirit” or “source,” is spiritually dangerous. These names refer to Hindu gods, not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

🙅‍♀️ Avoid Yoga, Choose the Narrow Path

Jesus never taught His disciples to stretch into poses to connect with God. He taught prayer, worship, fasting, and the study of God’s Word.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction...” – Matthew 7:13

You don’t need yoga to find peace. You need Jesus Christ, who is the Prince of Peace.

🛐 Deliverance Prayer from Yoga Involvement

If you’ve practiced yoga—even once—or if your ancestors did, you must renounce it.

Prayer of Repentance and Renunciation:

“Father God, I repent for participating in yoga and for any involvement of my ancestors. I renounce every yoga position, mantra, breathwork, and connection to chakras, kundalini, or Hindu gods. I break all soul ties and generational curses. I ask for the blood of Jesus to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I command every spirit attached to yoga and kundalini to leave me now in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

Magnetic Therapy

🚫 The Hidden Dangers of Magnetic Therapy for Christians

🚫 The Hidden Dangers of Magnetic Therapy for Christians

✝️ What Is Magnetic Therapy? A Christian Warning About Its Occult Roots

Magnetic Therapy, also called biomagnetic therapy or magnetotherapy, is promoted as a "natural" method to treat pain, inflammation, and disease by placing magnets on the body. But beneath its surface lies a deep spiritual danger that Christians must not ignore.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” – Hosea 4:6

Though some may report temporary relief using magnetic wristbands, beds, or mattress pads, any healing that doesn’t come from Jesus Christ is a counterfeit. Many unknowingly open demonic doors by engaging in therapies rooted in New Age and occult practices.

🌀 The Occult Roots of Magnetic Therapy

The history of magnetic therapy traces back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Greek medical practices steeped in paganism. In the 1700s, Viennese occultist Franz Anton Mesmer—from whom the word “mesmerize” comes—revived these ideas. He believed in a force called "animal magnetism," an invisible fluid that supposedly flows through all life.

Magnetism became part of mesmerism, the predecessor of hypnosis, and was believed to manipulate energies through occult channels.

“Let no one be found among you... who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft…” – Deuteronomy 18:10

Today’s magnetic healing is just an evolved form of this deception. Devices claim to improve circulation, enhance metabolism, and promote detoxification, but the real effect is spiritual contamination.

🛑 The Spiritual Cost of Temporary Relief

Magnets may appear to reduce pain, but they do not deal with the root cause—especially if the issue is spiritual. The enemy gives temporary relief to keep people bound.

“For Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” – 2 Corinthians 11:14

For instance, many arthritis sufferers unknowingly carry bitterness, which the Bible calls gall, a spiritual poison.

“I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.” – Acts 8:23
“Looking diligently lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.” – Hebrews 12:15

Bitterness not only poisons the soul but also manifests in the body. When we repent, forgive, and renounce the enemy, healing flows naturally from the Great Physician—Jesus Christ.

🙅‍♀️ My Personal Experience with Magnet Therapy

I once used a magnetic mattress pad, hoping for relief from my arthritis. But something was wrong. I began losing balance, walking into walls, and feeling disoriented—my body’s polarity was being spiritually manipulated. When I stopped using it, the symptoms disappeared immediately.

Instead of continuing in deception, I sought the Lord. Through deliverance prayer and forgiving those who hurt me, I was healed. My arthritis left completely. No magnets. No gimmicks. Only Jesus.

“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” – Psalm 107:20

🔥 Deliverance Prayer to Renounce Magnetic Therapy

If you’ve ever used magnetic therapy products, say this prayer aloud:

Heavenly Father,
I repent for seeking healing through magnetic therapy instead of turning to You. I renounce all involvement with magnetotherapy, Mesmerism, and any occult power associated with it. I forgive those who hurt me and choose to release all bitterness. Cleanse me with the blood of Jesus. I break all demonic attachments caused by magnetic therapy and command every unclean spirit to leave me now in Jesus’ name. Amen.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” – John 8:36

🙌 True Healing Is Found in Jesus Christ Alone

Many people unknowingly choose counterfeit healing methods because they are desperate. But true deliverance and health come through repentance, forgiveness, and trusting God’s Word. Magnetic therapy is a dangerous deception—a lure into spiritual bondage masquerading as healing.

“I am the Lord who heals you.” – Exodus 15:26

If you or someone you love is struggling with a chronic condition, don't run to the world's systems—run to Jesus.

The History of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – A Christian Warning

🚫 The History of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – A Christian Warning

🚫 The History of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – A Christian Warning

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are widely promoted today as harmless tools for relaxation, stress relief, and even trauma healing. But behind the soothing voice and swinging pendulum lies a dangerous spiritual trap. The roots of hypnosis are deeply embedded in ancient paganism, trance channeling, and occult rituals—forms of spiritual activity that Scripture clearly warns against. Christians must not be deceived by what seems helpful but is in fact a spiritual counterfeit.

🌍 Ancient Pagan Roots of Hypnosis

The use of hypnosis predates modern psychology by thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians practiced "dream healing" in sleep temples, where priest-healers induced trance-like states for divine communication—essentially early forms of channeling. Similarly, Greek temples dedicated to Asclepius used hypnotic suggestion to produce altered states of consciousness believed to bring divine healing.

Tribes across Africa and the Americas also used trance induction techniques—such as rhythmic drumming, dancing, and chanting—to enter altered states and communicate with the spirit realm. These practices were designed to bypass normal mental resistance, allowing spirits to “speak” or control the body. Today’s clinical hypnotherapy merely sanitizes and rebrands these same ancient techniques under the guise of science.

“Let no one be found among you who...practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft... or who is a medium or spiritist.”
—Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NIV)

🧠 Modern Rise of Hypnotherapy

Modern hypnosis emerged during the Enlightenment when Franz Mesmer (from whose name we get "mesmerize") introduced animal magnetism. He believed an invisible life force could be manipulated to heal the body—again rooted in occultic thinking. Though Mesmer was discredited, his methods lived on, influencing later hypnotists like James Braid and Sigmund Freud.

By the 20th century, hypnosis evolved into hypnotherapy—used for weight loss, anxiety, smoking cessation, and even recovering lost memories. However, many "recovered memories" under hypnosis have proven false or planted by the practitioner—leading to emotional damage and legal disasters.

Even secular psychology admits that in hypnosis, the critical thinking part of the brain is bypassed, making the subject highly suggestible. This opens the door to ungodly influences and even demonic access, especially when guided by spiritually blind or occult-involved practitioners.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
—1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

😱 Is Hypnosis Dangerous Spiritually?

Yes. Hypnosis creates a passive mental state—altered consciousness—where one suspends rational thought and willpower, making it a spiritual portal. This is not simply relaxation. In fact, trance states are nearly identical to those reached during occult rituals, yoga meditation, or witchcraft ceremonies. It is a counterfeit of biblical peace.

When someone willingly surrenders their mind—even temporarily—they are violating spiritual boundaries that God designed to protect the soul. A person in hypnosis can unknowingly come under spiritual influence or control.

Furthermore, channeling, common in hypnosis history and New Age healing, is forbidden by God. When one seeks healing from a hypnotherapist who invokes "inner guides" or uses regression to contact a past life, the session becomes not only unscriptural but demonic.

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them.”
—Leviticus 19:31 (ESV)

💀 Demonic Manifestations Tied to Hypnosis

Christians who undergo hypnotherapy—or whose ancestors have—can experience demonic manifestations and strongholds in the following areas:

  • Mental fog and confusion

  • Sleep paralysis and nightmares

  • Loss of willpower or compulsions

  • Hearing voices or “spirit guides”

  • Persistent fear, anxiety, or depression

  • Unexplainable emotional or health problems

  • Blockages in prayer or reading Scripture

Hypnosis can open what deliverance ministers call demonic soul gateways, especially if the person was hypnotized to revisit trauma, “talk to the child inside,” or speak to deceased loved ones. These acts can mimic or even become necromancy.

Even if you did not knowingly participate in hypnosis, ancestral involvement through Freemasonry, pagan rituals, New Age practices, or occult healing may have opened generational doors.

🧼 Breaking Free from Hypnosis-Linked Strongholds

If you’ve participated in hypnosis or hypnotherapy—or suspect ancestral ties—you can be free through repentance, renunciation, and deliverance.

🙏 Warfare Prayer of Renunciation

“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. I renounce and repent of every involvement I or my ancestors had in hypnosis, hypnotherapy, channeling, or occult healing. I break all generational curses and soul ties related to trance states and surrendering my will. I close every door that was opened to Satan through altered states of consciousness. I command every demonic spirit that entered through hypnosis to go now in the name of Jesus Christ. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus and declare my mind, will, and emotions belong fully to the Lord. Amen.”

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
—James 4:7 (KJV)

✅ What Should Christians Do?

  1. Avoid hypnosis completely—even for “medical” or “Christian” purposes. There is no biblical justification for surrendering your mind to anyone but God.

  2. Repent for past involvement in hypnotherapy, or for exposing your children to it through school or counseling.

  3. Anoint yourself and your home with oil and pray over your mind daily (Isaiah 26:3).

  4. Get deliverance prayer to remove residual strongholds from hypnosis.

  5. Educate others on the dangers hidden behind hypnosis—especially in churches, counseling, and schools.

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
—John 8:32 (NKJV)

Channeling & Mediums: A Demonic Doorway Disguised as Healing

Channeling & Mediums: A Demonic Doorway Disguised as Healing

Channeling & Mediums: A Demonic Doorway Disguised as Healing

What Does the Bible Say About Mediums and Channeling?

In today’s culture, channeling is marketed as a harmless or even spiritual practice—part of the New Age movement's toolbox for "healing" and enlightenment. However, this ancient occult practice is nothing new. It is spiritism dressed in modern clothes. Channeling is a dangerous doorway into spiritual bondage, opening one’s soul to deception, torment, and possession.

What Is Channeling?

Channeling, often called mediumship, involves a person allowing a supernatural spirit (referred to as a “spirit guide”) to speak or act through them. These spirits may claim to be deceased loved ones, ascended masters, aliens, or enlightened beings from other dimensions.

Practices include:

  • Automatic writing

  • Speaking in altered voices

  • Inner dictation

  • Spirit healing through touch

  • Receiving teachings or psychic revelations

These methods are deceptive and open participants to demonic control. The spirits may appear helpful or wise at first—but eventually torment, deceive, and destroy the individual.

Roots of Channeling

  • Origin: The roots of channeling can be traced to ancient paganism, spiritism, and shamanistic cultures such as Babylon, Egypt, and India.

  • Founders and Influencers: Prominent figures like Madame Helena Blavatsky (Theosophy), Alice Bailey, and Jane Roberts (Seth Material) are often credited with popularizing channeling in the West.

  • Beliefs: These figures were deeply involved in occultism, Hindu mysticism, and Luciferian philosophies. Many denied the biblical God, instead embracing pantheism or Gnosticism.

  • Purpose: Channeling aims to bypass the Holy Spirit and access “higher knowledge,” “healing,” and “enlightenment” from other realms.

Make no mistake—these so-called spirit guides are fallen angels, familiar spirits, and demons masquerading as beings of light.

“And no wonder, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”
– 2 Corinthians 11:14

How Does Channeling Work?

Channelers often use:

  • Meditation

  • Hypnosis

  • Visualization

  • Altered states of consciousness

  • Breathwork

  • Crystals or sacred objects

These practices weaken the soul’s defenses, opening spiritual portals for entities to enter. Once permission is granted, demons can take control over speech, thoughts, and even physical movement—much like a puppet master.

What seems like “healing” may be temporary relief masking long-term spiritual destruction. People eventually experience:

  • Nightmares

  • Oppression

  • Emotional breakdowns

  • Suicide ideation

  • Hearing voices

  • Self-harm urges

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”
– John 10:10

What Does the Bible Say About Mediums?

The Bible strictly forbids mediumship, necromancy, and consulting with the dead. God considers these practices abominations.

“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”
– Leviticus 19:31

“There shall not be found among you anyone...who practices divination, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer... or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.”
– Deuteronomy 18:10–12

King Saul sought out a medium in 1 Samuel 28, and the result was spiritual disaster and death. God had turned from him because he disobeyed God’s commands and opened himself to demonic influence.

Dangers and Demonic Manifestations

By opening themselves to spirit entities, channelers invite:

  • Tormenting spirits

  • Fear and paranoia

  • Loss of control

  • Sickness

  • Accidents

  • Addictions

  • Mental torment or suicide attempts

Some experience multiple voices speaking through them, or see phantom shadows, hearing growls, or being touched or manipulated physically. Others report intense pain in their bodies, particularly during times of prayer, showing demonic backlash.

These demonic spirits often:

  • Demand increasing levels of surrender

  • Mock God and Scripture

  • Isolate people from Christian community

  • Replace God’s voice with false guidance

“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.”
– 1 Corinthians 10:21

Generational Open Doors

Even if you’ve never practiced channeling, you may still suffer the effects if a parent, grandparent, or ancestor did. The Bible speaks of iniquity being passed down:

“...visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations...”
– Exodus 20:5

This is why some Christians who never personally dabbled in the occult still battle inexplicable fear, torment, or confusion—the door was opened by someone in their bloodline.

Deliverance and Freedom Through Christ

If you’ve ever:

  • Visited a psychic, medium, or spirit healer

  • Participated in channeling or automatic writing

  • Read channeled books (e.g., A Course in Miracles, Seth Speaks)

  • Practiced meditation with spirit guides

...you may need deliverance and healing.

PRAYER OF RENUNCIATION:

“Heavenly Father, I repent for all involvement in channeling, spiritism, and contacting the dead. I renounce all agreements made knowingly or unknowingly with spirit guides. I break the power of demonic strongholds and familiar spirits in Jesus’ name. Lord Jesus, wash me with Your blood and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I ask for healing and deliverance in every part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.”
– John 8:36

The Spiritual Dangers Behind Eastern Meditation

The Spiritual Dangers Behind Eastern Meditation

The Spiritual Dangers Behind Eastern Meditation

🧘‍♀️ SPIRITUAL DANGERS OF MEDITATION – WHAT CHRISTIANS MUST KNOW

What Is Meditation—and Where Did It Come From?

Meditation is often promoted in today's society as a method of stress relief and self-improvement. From corporate offices to public schools to churches, it’s being repackaged as a neutral, even “Christian,” practice. But is it truly harmless?

Historically, meditation is not a biblical practice—it is rooted in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism, and it was introduced to the West through Eastern mysticism and yoga. It is inseparable from the spiritual beliefs of pagan religions.

Psalm 1:2 says we are to “meditate on His law day and night,” but biblical meditation is about thinking deeply on God’s Word, not emptying your mind or repeating mantras.

Eastern meditation's goal is to alter the state of consciousness to experience "oneness with the universe"—a pantheistic lie. It denies the personal, holy God of the Bible and opens the door to deception and demonic influence.

Types of Eastern Meditation Practices That Open Demonic Gates:

1. Mantra Meditation

A mantra is a repeated word or phrase—usually in Sanskrit—invoked to empty the mind or summon a “higher state.” The word “OM” is the most common mantra and represents the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—false gods.

Even when using a “positive phrase,” the technique is mechanical chanting, forbidden in Scripture:

“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.” – Matthew 6:7

These repetitive chants can act as spiritual keys that open your soul to unclean spirits.

2. Breath Awareness / Spiritual Breathing

Popularized in churches as “spiritual breathing,” this technique originated from prana breathing in Hinduism. The concept of prana is a life force (akin to chi) believed to flow through energy channels. But this is New Age energy manipulation, not of God.

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.” – Psalm 150:6

We are not to focus inward but upward—to Christ. Techniques that instruct you to “breathe in peace and breathe out stress” create a passive trance that invites spiritual intrusion.

3. Rosary Beads and Prayer Wheels

These tools—like Tibetan prayer wheels or Catholic rosary beads—count repetitive prayers, often while invoking saints or false gods. This is not biblical prayer but necromancy and idolatry.

“There shall not be found among you... a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.” – Deuteronomy 18:10-11

Who Founded These Practices?

  • Hinduism’s origins date back over 3,000 years in India with practices devoted to gods like Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma.

  • Buddha, originally Siddhartha Gautama, rejected the idea of a personal God and promoted meditation to escape suffering.

  • Taoist monks in China used meditative breathing to align with nature and open up to spirits.

All of these founders rejected the God of the Bible. Why should Christians follow in their footsteps?

Why Is Meditation So Dangerous?

Meditation often induces a trance state, quiets the conscious mind, and invites spirit guides or "inner wisdom" to speak. These “guides” are familiar spirits, demons in disguise. The person may begin to receive visions, hear voices, or experience vibrations or energy moving through the body.

This opens the door to:

  • Spiritual oppression

  • Mental torment

  • Nightmares or sleep paralysis

  • Chronic health issues

  • Inability to pray or read the Bible

  • Sudden anger or lust problems

The book of Joshua says not to meditate without the Word.

Can Christians Be Affected If They Tried Meditation—or If Their Ancestors Did?

Yes. Even past exposure—one session of guided meditation or ancestral involvement—can leave a spiritual mark. The Bible shows sin can pass through generations:

“He punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” – Exodus 20:5

Unrepented participation in occult practices—even unknowingly—gives the enemy legal ground to attack.

What Happens After You Open That Door?

Many who have participated in Eastern or contemplative meditation experience:

  • Hearing voices

  • Spiritual confusion

  • Feelings of a presence in the room

  • Anxiety, panic attacks

  • Addiction to silence or altered states

  • Even psychosis or suicidal thoughts

These are not harmless side effects—they are signs of demonic oppression.

🔥 Deliverance and Healing Through Jesus Christ

If you have ever practiced any form of Eastern meditation, yoga, mantra prayer, or even if your ancestors did—you must renounce it.

🙏 Deliverance Prayer:

“Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. I repent for participating in meditation practices that go against Your Word, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I renounce every mantra, every altered state, every false god invoked. I break every generational curse tied to meditation, yoga, Buddhism, Hinduism, and New Age practices. I command every unclean spirit that entered through these open doors to leave me now in Jesus’ name. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Restore my mind and spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

✝️ God's Word Is Sufficient

You don’t need “inner peace” through breathing techniques. The Prince of Peace lives inside every believer. You don’t need to “empty your mind”—you need to renew it through the Word.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2
