 We Are Overcomers by the Blood of the Lamb 

I'm sure all of you had to deal with something in your life to overcome. I know I did. It was a process in the 90s, but I did receive my breakthrough. Through the help of the Lord and others who were believers, I was overcome by the Blood of the Lamb.

I had a lot of hurts, and because of the spirit of fear, I had a racing mind. It would keep me up since I could not stop my mind. I would be so tired the next day and exhausted and healthy with chronic fatigue. Looking back, I wondered how I went to work every day exhausted and tired. 

The doctor did a sleep study and could not believe what they witnessed. When I did sleep, I almost left the bed at night, which explained why my mattress was a foot off the bed every morning. I went to a minister who did deliverance and healing. She worked with my trauma and pain. Once she cast out the spirit of fear, I felt quiet for the first time. I was at peace. 

Not only that, but I slept through the night without any interruptions, and my mattress was a foot off the bed. It is incredible to realize that trauma, in any form (emotional, spiritual, or physical), can cause so much havoc to the body, causing insomnia. I learned, since I had a spirit of fear that entered in that the chemicals in my brain were releasing too much cortisol. Long-term fear, stress, or worry causes your body to release cortisol, a death hormone.

Too much cortisol release taxed your adrenal glands, causing insomnia all the way to anxiety and panic. I also learned, after deliverance, how to discern my thoughts by casting them down or giving my concerns to the Lord. Letting go, basically. This helped me break the strongholds of the mind.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER TO SAY OUT LOUD

 

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, IT IS WRITTEN: Where it says “me” or “I” add your name. In the "me" change it to your name.

• No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment we condemn (Isa. 54:17)
• Establish in me righteousness, and oppression is far from her (add your name) (Isa. 54:14)
• The weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Cor.10:4)
• I am redeemed from the curse of the law. I am redeemed from poverty, sickness, and spiritual death (Gal.3:13)
• I overcome all, because greater is He (Jesus Christ) that is in her than he that is in the world (I John 4:4)
• I stand in the evil day, having her loins girt about with truth, wearing the breastplate of righteousness; her feet are shod with the gospel of peace. She has on the helmet of salvation, she takes the shield of faith, and she quenches every fiery dart of the enemy, she takes the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and uses it to overcome the enemy since he is already defeated (Eph. 6:14-17)
• I am delivered from the powers of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son (Col 1:13)
• I do not have the spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7)
• The hands are upon the neck of her enemies (Gen. 49:8)
• God has anointed my head with oil, her cup runs over, goodness and mercy follow Me all the days of her life (Psa. 23:5)
• I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath (Deut. 28:13)
• The counsel of the wicked against Me is spoiled in the name of Jesus (Job 12:17).
• In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we speak to all demonic artillery fired against my life:

• BACKFIRE with the fire of God, BACKFIRE with shame, and BACKFIRE with destruction, NOW, in the name of Jesus.
• In the name of Jesus, we break every evil binding working against Me life; be sent to the dry places now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
• We decree that all My enemies will fall now into the pits they have for her in the name of Jesus.
• You defend and save Me, O Lord, because her heart is upright before You, in the name of Jesus.
• We decree that all operations of the wicked against Me life, job, ministry, and Church come to an end, NOW, in the name of Jesus.
• Every demonic container housing Me destiny: COLLIDE WITH THE ROCK OF AGES, NOW, in the name of Jesus.
• We command every vampire, leech, or draining spirit sent by witches and warlocks to detach from Me spirit, soul, and body.
• We command every vampire, leech, or draining spirit sent by witches and warlocks to BE DESTROYED NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS. LORD, by the authority of Your Word, Me is delivered and protected from every plot of evil in the name of Jesus (Jer.1:13-14).
• We command every spoken curse released against Me by witches and warlocks: BE REVERSED A HUNDREDFOLD] NOW, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
• We disannul all curses by agents of Satan spoken against Me life in secret in the name of Jesus (Psa.10:7). LORD, Me is delivered out of the midst of every caldron in the name of Jesus (Ezek.11:7). The enemy will not eat Me flesh, break her bones and put her in his caldron, because Me is saturated in the blood of Jesus (Mic.3:3).
  
  

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we release the Fire of God, the Blood of Jesus, and destroy the power of all jinxes, potions, bewitchments, death, destruction, sickness, pain, torment, prayer chains, incense and candle-burning, all incantations, chanting, blessings, hoodoo, crystals, root works, eggs and cancel all curses being sent to Me and my family. We send every curse to the feet of Jesus. We return all its demons to the dry places to never return, HUNDREDFOLD, and we bind it to them by the Blood of Jesus Christ, and we cut and burn their ungodly silver cord and lay lines, in the Name of Jesus Christ. We now seal up their powers within themselves so that they cannot use them against anyone and that their works are destroyed, NOW in the hope that their souls might be saved for the Glory of God. We release the Love of God to them in the Name and by the Blood of JESUS CHRIST, AMEN.

Demonic Danger of Praying to the Dead

🚫 Praying to Saints and the Dead is Necromancy: The Hidden Danger

Many well-meaning Christians have unknowingly embraced practices that the Bible clearly forbids. One of these is praying to saints, Mary, or anyone who has died. Scripture calls this necromancy—a forbidden communication with the dead (Deuteronomy 18:10–12). It is also a form of idolatry and opens spiritual gateways for demonic oppression.

The Catholic Church encourages prayers to saints and the Virgin Mary, claiming they are intercessors on behalf of the living. But is this biblical? No. It is a dangerous deception that contradicts the Word of God and leads to spiritual bondage.

📖 What the Bible Says

Let’s be clear: the Bible leaves no room for another mediator between man and God other than Jesus Christ.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” —1 Timothy 2:5

Jesus also declared:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” —John 14:6

When a person prays to saints or Mary, they are bypassing Jesus—the only acceptable mediator. This false spiritual activity can attract familiar spirits, demons masquerading as benevolent "saints."

🧿 Necromancy and Idolatry Are Forbidden

“You shall not make idols for yourselves… or set up a figured stone… to bow down to it.” —Leviticus 26:1

The veneration of statues of saints, Mary, or icons is forbidden. It violates the second commandment and mirrors pagan worship practices.

This is not simply “honoring” someone from the past. It is summoning and communicating with the dead, which the Bible warns against repeatedly.

“There shall not be found among you… anyone who inquires of the dead.” —Deuteronomy 18:11

Even if the person being prayed to was a godly believer, their soul is not accessible for prayer. Only God hears prayers—not departed human spirits.

😈 The Demonic Manifestations That Follow

When believers engage in necromancy by praying to saints or dead relatives—even unknowingly—they can open themselves to demonic manifestations:

• Sleep paralysis, night visitations

• Voices claiming to be "saints" or "Mary"

• Depression, anxiety, confusion

• Religious pride, fear of leaving traditions

• Blocks to spiritual growth

• Increased spiritual warfare and oppression

These are not harmless traditions. These practices invoke spirits that are not from God.

🧬 Generational Influence and Catholic Roots

If your ancestors were devout Catholics, you may have inherited spiritual bondage through their participation in unbiblical rituals like:

• Praying the rosary to Mary

• Using holy water and relics

• Confessing to priests instead of God

• Canonizing the dead

• Venerating images and statues

These practices violate God's commands and allow the enemy access through ancestral doors. If you're struggling with persistent emotional torment, religious confusion, or blocks to intimacy with God, ancestral Catholic idolatry could be a root.

🛑 The Danger of Canon Law

The Catholic Church developed its own canon law—man-made rules not found in the Bible. For example, priests were forbidden to marry to keep them “dedicated” to the Church. But this is not biblical:

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith… through the insincerity of liars… who forbid marriage…” —1 Timothy 4:1-3

This was foretold. Church traditions have replaced God’s Word, causing millions to stumble into false teaching and open doors to the demonic.

🙏 What You Must Do to Be Free

If you’ve ever prayed to saints, Mary, or used Catholic rituals—even innocently—it’s crucial to repent, renounce, and break the spiritual agreement.

Step 1: Repent
Ask the Lord to forgive you for participating in necromancy and idolatry.

Step 2: Renounce
Declare out loud that you renounce all prayers to the dead, veneration of saints, and generational Catholic traditions.

Step 3: Break the Curse
In the name of Jesus, break every generational curse and soul tie to false religion and idolatry.

Step 4: Submit to the Truth
Return to the Word of God as your only foundation. Let the Holy Spirit lead you into truth.

🙌 Final Encouragement

Friend, the Lord is calling His people out of deception and into freedom. Jesus said:

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” —John 8:32

Let go of every practice that elevates man or dead saints above the Son of God. He alone is worthy of your prayers, devotion, and trust.

A curse is a demonic assignment spoken or enacted against a person. These are often released through words of hate, bitterness, envy, or even unintentional speech. A curse gives legal ground for demons to operate. However, if you are hidden in Christ and covered by the Blood, many curses may boomerang back on the sender. You must take spiritual authority daily and ask to be hidden in Christ, protected by the Blood of the Lamb, and shielded by the presence of God.

Forgiveness is key. Romans 12:19 declares, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord." When you forgive, you remove Satan’s legal right to operate through bitterness. Pray:

“Father, I forgive those who have cursed or harmed me. I bless them in Jesus’ Name. Release them from judgment and pour out redemptive grace, that they may know You.”

Prayer:

"In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I bind and break every unscriptural word, evil decree, and witchcraft ritual against me—spoken, visualized, or performed. Every knot, candle spell, evil eye, black magic, hex, vex, rootwork, and incantation is now canceled by the Blood of Jesus. I command all demonic spirits assigned to attack me to be stripped of power, rendered void, and cast into the abyss!"

Ask God to reverse all curses into blessings (Deuteronomy 23:5).

Declare healing over your body, soul, and spirit. Break off spirits of sickness, infirmity, mind control, fear, confusion, depression, and heaviness. Cast out all spirits that block your calling and destiny.

These spirits often work alongside Jezebel to bring destruction, false prophecy, and defilement.

Declare:

“In Jesus’ name, I break every curse of Balaam, every Baal covenant, and assignment of the Queen of Heaven. I silence the prince of darkness behind all witchcraft. Let every invisible chain on my soul break now! Destroy their altars, thrones, and networks by the fire of God.”

“Lord, dismantle Jezebel’s spiritual web of control, isolation, rejection, and manipulation. Restore my relationships, favor, and calling. Every demonic bird, snake, or evil watcher be destroyed by Holy Ghost fire! I take back the territory she stole from me.”

Many unknowingly maintain spiritual ties through gifts, letters, or personal objects. These serve as legal rights for demonic spirits to linger.

Take action:

• Destroy and throw out gifts or objects tied to manipulation or witchcraft.

• Break soul ties using the Sword of the Spirit.

• Pray:

“Every tether, rope, tentacle, or attachment from the octopus spirit, familiar spirits, or soul ties—break now by the Blood of Jesus! I sever transference of spirits from false prophets and evil hands laid on me.”

Evil spirits may cling to your environment or associations.

• Cleanse your home with anointing oil and spiritual warfare prayers.

• Remove any occult items or links to sinful relationships.

• Pray:

“I withdraw any part of me placed on altars or covens—photos, names, DNA—let them burn by fire now in Jesus’ Name! I revoke every covenant, break it, and cast attached demons into the abyss.”

• Ephesians 6:10-18 teaches us to put on the Armor of God.

• Decree Galatians 3:13 – You are redeemed from the curse!

• Proclaim blessing:

“I am the seed of Abraham and walk in his covenant blessings! Every Jezebel altar erected against me is torn down. I declare life, health, favor, and destiny alignment in Jesus’ name!”

“I rebuke all mind-binding spirits, end-time mind control tech (HAARP, frequencies), and infiltrations. Every evil throne occupying my glory—be unseated now by fire!”

Pray protection over your mind and mental health. Ask the Holy Spirit to take over every broken area.

“Everything Jezebel destroyed in my life—relationships, reputation, finances, opportunities—I recover now by the Blood of Jesus! Let restoration flow in my household, ministry, and identity!”

Let God restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).

“Expose the Jezebel spirit, Lord. Let those under her spell be set free. I pray for her repentance. I forgive and bless those who have been used by her. Restore Your glory in me.”

Part 2 - 

Overcoming Trials and Tribulations

I once was a partner of another ministry, and the Lord called me out of the partnership. Unfortunately, the partner was upset with me. She thought we were to serve together forever. In my heart, I would have liked to have served together in our calling. God's plans are higher than ours. She felt betrayed by me. She didn't understand or believe the Lord was calling me in another direction.

In this life, you will have trials and tribulations. The pain is deep by losing reputation, betrayal by another, misunderstandings, or the other person believing you are betraying them. Even if they think you made a promise but the other person did not hear the other part, I said many years ago that when I got too busy for God, I was going to lay it down, and man, God made me live up to that.

I knew I had to obey Him. Many times He takes partnerships and pulls them apart. Sometimes it is a test to serve Him and man. I was trying to figure out why or what, but he was taking us differently. Did Abraham understand when the Lord told him to leave and go to a strange land? I don't think so. 

Anyway, in the relationship, with my best friend previously, I was the betrayer. I was leaving her. Unfortunately, it got ugly. No matter what I did, the friendship was under the test. I was under the test of following Jesus over my best friend. Was I willing to lose a long friendship? It was not easy. 

Triumphs and Tribulations

Going through the trials and tribulations of pain, hurt, and loss, I had to see what Jesus went through when He hung on the cross to give us life spiritually and physically.  He came to overcome, and I can overcome, according to John 16:33.

"I have said these things to you, that you may have peace in me. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."

Not only that, but the Lord is producing perseverance in me in accordance with Romans 5:3.

"More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,..." To overcome trials, we must see Him in a greater light that He truly is in control of our lives. To overcome the hurt, pain, and loss, is through praising Him by trusting Him. 

When you are in a place of preparation and healing and restoration and waiting, you cannot be anxious, but the Lord will guard your heart and mind against the attacks of the enemy or temptations, according to Philippians 4:6-7.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

We serve such an awesome God of the Lord most high, and we can count those trials and tribulations as joy, according to James 1:2. It is not easy. How to overcome? Praying, fasting, staying in His Word, and standing on His promises of truth. It feels dark, like the dark night of the soul or a deep valley experience. 

All we can do is "Count it all joy, my brothers when you meet trials of various kinds,"

It is not easy to give up something you love, birthed, and give your heart to and then have to lay it all down.  Also, give all the money, equipment, and everything else over and walk away. It feels like your heart is tearing to pieces.  I gave it all up according to the Lord Most High.  Some of the ministries have opinions of me that are not true.  Unfortunately, when your trials involve the other, rumors and gossip, accusations from many, and abandonment and loneliness. So, protect your heart. They don't know what took place, but that is part of God has to be your all so that you are not concerned about what others think.  My reputation is in the Lord and not man. 

I would fix things in the past to only make it worse.  It is better to leave it alone and trust God.  God knows the truth, and that should count.  We get in trouble when we try to fix our reputation with men.  Could it be an idol - loved by all man?

Man always ruins others' reputations, and mine certainly was through several avenues of people - fiery darts. Praise the Lord! We do not fight flesh and blood. 

I had to see these were fiery darts of testing according to 1 Peter 4:12.

"Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you as though something strange were happening to you."

Fiery darts come from people closest to you - friends, family, ministries, etc.  Again I had to remember Jesus on the cross saying Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.  I look that God is testing my heart and my reactions.  I can genuinely say I care for all these people regardless of what they think of me on Earth.  Their opinions do not matter. 

These trials and tribulations, it is God's way to make you more like Him. I came to the place of laying down my reputation and realized I only serve the Lord and not man. No way can you make people happy all the time. People are not consistent, but God is. 

The enemy wants to stop you and keep you in the past, so don't allow the storm around you to keep you from moving forward. Don't allow any person to steal your inheritance. Ensure you keep your heart correct and forgive continuously for what is happening around you. Do not be surprised. I would have to say these trials have given me a more profound love for people in God's way of love - not mine. 

Isaiah 43:19 is what the Lord gave me:

¹⁹ Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. "

I love people, not what they can do for me or fulfill anything in me, but because my Lord Jesus Christ also loves them.

Even though I felt weak and broken, I knew I could do everything according to 2 Corinthians 12:9.

But he said to me,

"My grace is sufficient for you; my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."  What promises of the Lord when we feel weak, broken, and bleeding inside. We are made perfect in weakness because it is more of God and me out of the way.  That is how we are supposed to look at the weakest point.

I would have to say my faith was being tested, and many times just wanted to give up. Part of me just wanted to disappear or be absorbed by the air and not exist.  But, I knew that is what the Lord did not wish to do but for me to get back up, go forward even in my weakness, and count it all joy according to James 1:2-8.

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. ... "

My faith has been strengthened.  I'm not the same person.  It now takes a lot to take me down.  I see God in all situations and that he is working it out regardless if I can see it or not, like Heb. 11:1 - I cannot go by what I see but what I cannot see and trust God's word and praise him for the excellent result even though it is not happening.

That means standing firm and not being frightened.  You cannot be afraid of your enemies.  When you have a ministry, you have enemies.  Just like Joshua, I was going into new territory and could not be afraid, according to Joshua 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

I hope this helps someone in the ministry and being attacked with fiery darts to not give up.  Because all these things are tests of faith, according to 1 Peter 1:7.

"So that the tested genuineness of your faith more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

In conclusion, it was the best thing I ever did. The Lord took me to many countries, ministering healing and deliverance in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Following the Lord is sweet - the Greater the trial, the greater the victory. I've had opportunities to see people get free and move forward. 

Steps:

• Continuously forgive others - we do not fight flesh and blood
• Keep your eyes on the Lord. Stand on the promises of the Lord and don't waiver.
• Fast and pray frequently to hear the Lord clearly in those hard dark hours.
• Remember, the Lord is for you and not against you, and He never changes but is consistent.
• Keep your eyes on Him and not the circumstances happening around you.
• Determine to stay on course.
