William Garner Sutherland and Dr. John E. Upledger Developed Cranial Therapy

William Garner Sutherland and Dr. John E. Upledger Developed Cranial Therapy

Cranial therapy (also known as craniosacral therapy or cranial osteopathy) was developed by Dr. William Garner Sutherland (1873–1954), an American osteopathic physician.

Here’s a quick summary of how it began and evolved:

  • William Garner Sutherland, a student of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still (founder of osteopathy), first developed cranial osteopathy in the early 1900s.

  • Around 1899, while studying a disarticulated skull, Sutherland noticed the beveled sutures of the cranial bones and thought they were “designed for motion.” He hypothesized that the bones of the skull move rhythmically in harmony with what he later called the “Primary Respiratory Mechanism.”

  • He spent decades experimenting on himself and patients, believing that gentle manipulation of the skull bones could correct imbalances in the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), leading to healing of various conditions.

  • Later, Dr. John E. Upledger (1932–2012), an osteopathic physician, expanded Sutherland’s theories in the 1970s and coined the term “Craniosacral Therapy (CST)”. Upledger claimed to feel rhythmic pulsations of cerebrospinal fluid during surgery and built an entire therapeutic system around this phenomenon, promoting it as a holistic healing method.

Summary

  • Inventor: Dr. William Garner Sutherland

  • Expanded by: Dr. John E. Upledger

  • Purpose: To balance the craniosacral system for physical, mental, and emotional healing.

  • Criticism: Many in the medical field and Christian circles reject it as unscientific and New Age–influenced, often linked to energy healing concepts rather than biblical healing through Christ.

Would you like me to turn this into a 900-word deliverance article exposing Craniosacral Therapy as unbiblical and spiritually dangerous?

Neither Dr. William Garner Sutherland nor Dr. John E. Upledger (the founders of cranial therapy/craniosacral therapy) developed their healing methods based on faith in Jesus Christ or the Bible. Their beliefs were rooted in spiritual philosophies, vitalism, and New Age concepts of universal life energy—not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Here’s a breakdown of what each believed:

🧠 Dr. William Garner Sutherland (1873–1954)

  • Sutherland was trained as an osteopathic physician under Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, who taught that the body possesses its own self-healing intelligence—a belief more aligned with pantheistic and metaphysical ideas than biblical truth.

  • Sutherland came to believe in what he called the “Breath of Life”—a mysterious, invisible energy or force that supposedly animates every living being and flows through the craniosacral system.

  • He described this “Breath of Life” in mystical, almost divine terms, claiming it could bring harmony and restoration when balanced.

  • He never attributed this power to God or Jesus Christ, but rather to an impersonal life force. This aligns closely with New Age energy doctrines that reject the need for salvation through Christ and instead promote self-healing through universal energy.

  • His belief system mirrors pagan, Eastern, and occult philosophies—where healing is derived from manipulating unseen forces, not faith in God’s power.

🌀 Dr. John E. Upledger (1932–2012)

  • Upledger took Sutherland’s work further and openly incorporated metaphysical and New Age concepts into craniosacral therapy.

  • He believed practitioners could tune into the “inner wisdom” of the patient’s body and even communicate with the tissues or spirit of the person being treated.

  • In his writings (such as Craniosacral Therapy and Your Inner Physician and You), he often referenced “energy fields,” “higher consciousness,” and “spiritual guides.”

  • Upledger even founded the Upledger Institute, where craniosacral therapy was taught as a form of spiritual and energetic healing, compatible with Reiki, chakra balancing, and other occultic modalities.

  • He did not profess faith in Jesus Christ and instead embraced a worldview that God is a universal energy or force accessible through human touch and intuition.

🔥 Who Was Their “God”?

Their “god” was not the Lord God of the Bible, but the “universal life force”—a spiritual energy concept rooted in paganism and occultism. This is the same false spiritual source that powers Reiki, Qi Gong, and other energy healing modalities.

In essence, they replaced the Holy Spirit with an unholy imitation—a counterfeit “breath of life” that mimics God’s creative power but originates from the kingdom of darkness.

The Bible warns against such beliefs:

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14

The enemy disguises himself as a healer and enlightener, offering power, balance, and peace—but apart from repentance and faith in Christ, it’s deception.

⚔️ Why It Is Against God

Cranial therapy operates under the belief that man can access divine power without God—that healing comes from manipulating unseen energy instead of prayer, repentance, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

This violates God’s Word:

“There shall not be found among you anyone who... uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.” — Deuteronomy 18:10–12

Though craniosacral therapy doesn’t openly claim to be witchcraft, it functions through the same principles of divination and energy manipulation, inviting familiar spirits and spiritual deception.

🕊️ Why They May Need Deliverance

People who have practiced or received cranial therapy may unknowingly have opened spiritual gates to demonic influence. Since the therapy invokes a “breath of life” that is not from God, those energies can attach spiritually and create torment, confusion, or oppression.

Deliverance comes through repentance and renouncing all forms of false healing and inviting the true Breath of Life—Jesus Christ (John 20:22)—to bring real restoration.

Pyramidology: The Occult Secrets Behind the “Mystic Power” of Pyramids

Pyramidology: The Occult Secrets Behind the “Mystic Power” of Pyramids

Pyramidology: The Occult Secrets Behind the “Mystic Power” of Pyramids

Pyramidology: The Occult Secrets Behind the “Mystic Power” of Pyramids

From the deserts of Egypt to modern homes filled with crystal pyramids, the fascination with pyramids stretches across time and cultures. Many today claim that pyramid shapes hold mysterious energy—able to heal, sharpen, preserve, or channel spiritual power. This belief, known as Pyramidology, has quietly infiltrated the New Age movement and even some Christian circles.

But what most don’t realize is that these “energies” are not from God—they are rooted in occult and demonic power, disguised as ancient wisdom.

What Is Pyramidology?

Pyramidology is the belief that pyramid-shaped objects or structures can harness and radiate mystical or cosmic energy. Followers claim these energies can preserve food, sharpen razors, heal illnesses, enhance meditation, or even align one’s spiritual vibration.

Some believe pyramids channel the same “universal life force” that animates the universe, similar to concepts found in Reiki, Hinduism, and New Age mysticism. Practitioners often meditate inside small pyramid models or wear pyramid pendants for “spiritual protection” or “energy balancing.”

While the shape itself is a geometric structure, the spiritual meaning attached to it has deep occult roots—stemming from ancient Egyptian religion, which worshiped gods of the underworld and celestial powers rather than the Creator.

Who Created the Idea?

The fascination with pyramid power in modern times began in the early 1900s, when a Frenchman named Antoine Bovis claimed that small-scale pyramid models could preserve food, much like the Egyptian pyramids supposedly preserved mummies.

Later, in the 1970s, this idea exploded into a global movement thanks to Patrick Flanagan, author of Pyramid Power. Flanagan mixed pseudo-scientific theories with New Age spirituality, teaching that pyramids channel a cosmic energy field that harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit.

His teachings echoed occult philosophy, not science or Scripture. The concept spread into meditation circles, energy healing, and even yoga practices—always promoting the belief that the pyramid shape holds supernatural power.

What Were Their Beliefs?

Followers of pyramidology believe that the pyramid’s shape focuses cosmic or universal energy, acting like an antenna that connects humans to higher dimensions or spiritual frequencies.

They see the pyramid as a “sacred geometry,” symbolizing spiritual awakening or the ascent of the soul. Many claim that sitting under a pyramid can activate the third eye, increase psychic abilities, or connect to the divine consciousness—all of which are rooted in occult practices, not biblical truth.

The Bible warns against seeking spiritual knowledge or power outside of God. Deuteronomy 18:10–12 makes it clear:

“Let no one be found among you who…practices divination or sorcery…Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.”

Who Is Their God or gods?

Pyramidology traces back to ancient Egyptian religion, which was filled with polytheism and worship of false gods like Ra (the sun god), Osiris (the god of the underworld), and Isis (the goddess of magic). The pyramids themselves were designed as spiritual gateways, intended to help pharaohs ascend to the afterlife and become gods themselves.

In other words, the entire concept of pyramid power originates from the worship of false deities and communication with the dead, which God strictly forbids (Leviticus 19:31).

When modern practitioners use pyramids for energy or meditation, they unknowingly tap into the same demonic forces that empowered ancient idol worship. Satan disguises these powers as “universal energy” or “positive vibration,” but in truth, they are spiritual counterfeits meant to draw people away from Christ.

What Is the Purpose of Pyramidology and Why Is It Used?

The purpose of pyramidology is to seek power, healing, or enlightenment apart from God. It promises control over life’s circumstances, health, and spiritual growth through a physical object—something that directly contradicts biblical faith.

People are drawn to it because it offers:

  • Relief from pain or anxiety

  • Spiritual awakening or peace

  • A sense of connection to the universe

  • Power to influence energy or reality

But this “power” does not come from God—it comes from deceptive spiritual forces that mimic divine authority. The same way Satan offered Eve hidden knowledge in the Garden, pyramidology tempts people with false enlightenment.

Isaiah 45:5 says:

“I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.”

Seeking “pyramid energy” is a direct rejection of God’s sufficiency and a form of idolatry—trusting creation over the Creator.

Is Pyramidology Divination?

Yes. Pyramidology falls under divination and sorcery because it attempts to manipulate unseen forces to gain knowledge, healing, or power. The Bible makes no distinction between “good energy” and “bad energy”—all spiritual power outside of God’s Holy Spirit is demonic.

1 Corinthians 10:20 warns,

“The sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.”

This verse applies to modern spiritual practices that use symbols, objects, or energy to interact with the supernatural realm. No matter how harmless it seems, it opens a door to demonic bondage.

Why They May Need Deliverance

Those who have practiced pyramidology—whether using pyramid pendants, meditation pyramids, or “energy chambers”—may have unknowingly formed spiritual covenants with demonic forces.

These influences can lead to:

  • Anxiety or confusion

  • Sleep disturbances or oppression

  • Blocked prayer life

  • Spiritual dullness or rebellion against God

Deliverance begins with repentance and renunciation of all occult involvement. A person must confess the sin of seeking power outside of God and invite the Holy Spirit to cleanse their spirit and home.

A prayer of repentance may be:

“Father, I repent for seeking spiritual power through pyramidology and occult objects. I renounce every spirit of false light and energy. I break every curse tied to these practices and dedicate my life fully to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.”

Only through the power of Christ can one break free from counterfeit spirituality and experience true healing and peace.

Punk Rock Music: The Sound of Rebellion or the Spirit of Defiance Against God?*

Punk Rock Music: The Sound of Rebellion or the Spirit of Defiance Against God?

Punk Rock Music: The Sound of Rebellion or the Spirit of Defiance Against God?

Punk Rock Music: The Sound of Rebellion or the Spirit of Defiance Against God?

Music has always carried more than sound—it carries spirit and message. While some forms of music uplift and glorify God, others glorify rebellion, darkness, and self-will. One such genre is punk rock, a music style born out of frustration, anarchy, and defiance against authority. Though many see it as a harmless expression of individuality, punk rock’s roots and messages reveal a deeper spiritual rebellion—one that directly opposes God’s order.

What Is Punk Rock Music?

Punk rock emerged in the mid-1970s as a response to mainstream society, political control, and religious authority. It is characterized by loud, aggressive sounds, fast tempos, and confrontational lyrics. The essence of punk has always been “No rules, no control, no authority but myself.”

This ideology doesn’t just reject political systems—it rejects God’s moral authority. Punk became an anthem for rebellion and chaos, exalting the spirit of independence over submission to divine truth.

Who Created Punk Rock?

The roots of punk rock can be traced to underground music scenes in New York City and London. Bands like The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, and The Clash were among the early influencers. Their music spoke for a generation angry with society, politics, and religion.

  • The Sex Pistols, particularly, became symbols of anti-establishment rage. Their song “Anarchy in the U.K.” proudly declared rebellion against all forms of authority—including moral and religious systems.

  • Punk fashion—ripped clothes, spiked hair, safety pins, and black leather—was deliberately designed to shock and provoke, visually representing rejection of order, purity, and submission.

The movement wasn’t just about music; it was a cultural protest against everything traditional—especially Christianity and biblical morality.

What Were Their Beliefs?

At its core, punk rock was birthed from nihilism—the belief that life has no meaning, purpose, or moral code. Nihilists reject God and truth, believing everything is subjective. This worldview influenced the lyrics and lifestyle of punk musicians who mocked religion, cursed authority, and glorified chaos.

Many punk artists also embraced occult and satanic imagery, often to appear “anti-Christian.” In their rebellion, they unknowingly aligned with the same spirit that caused Lucifer’s fall—the spirit of pride and rebellion (Isaiah 14:12–14).

The message was clear: “Do what you want, not what God commands.” That message mirrors the satanic doctrine found in Aleister Crowley’s famous phrase, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.”

Who Is Their God or gods?

Punk rock’s “god” is not the Creator of Heaven and Earth but the self—a worship of one’s own will. In rejecting divine authority, punk music enthrones man’s emotions, rage, and independence as the ultimate guide.

Ephesians 2:2 warns that those who walk in rebellion are following “the prince of the power of the air,” referring to Satan, who manipulates culture to spread disobedience and spiritual darkness.

Thus, while punk artists may not consciously worship the devil, their ideology of self-rule aligns with the same rebellious spirit that defies God’s kingdom.

What Is the Purpose of Punk Rock and Why Is It Used?

Punk rock serves as a vehicle of expression for frustration, rebellion, and protest. For many, it became a way to reject societal expectations and religious control. Its purpose is to empower people to question authority—but often without discernment, leading them to reject all authority, including God’s.

Spiritually, the enemy uses punk music to stir up anger, lawlessness, and rejection—keeping people trapped in emotional turmoil, bitterness, and pride.
James 1:20 reminds us:

“For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”

In other words, rebellion, no matter how justified it seems, cannot produce godly fruit.

Why Would Anyone Get Involved in Punk Rock?

Punk rock attracts those who feel misunderstood, oppressed, or broken by society. It offers belonging in a community that celebrates defiance and emotional release.

For many, the loud music and raw energy provide a false sense of freedom—a way to escape pain. But it’s not true liberation; it’s a spiritual counterfeit that replaces peace with rage and healing with bitterness.

Behind the distortion and passion lies a dangerous message: “You don’t need God.” This deception keeps countless young people chained to anger and confusion, instead of finding deliverance through Christ, who alone gives lasting peace.

Why Punk Rock Is Against God

The Bible says in 1 Samuel 15:23:

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”

This means rebellion carries the same spiritual weight as witchcraft—it invites demonic influence and separation from God. Punk rock glorifies rebellion not just against politics or institutions but ultimately against God’s authority and holiness.

It promotes self-idolatry, hatred, and moral confusion—the very qualities Satan cultivates to destroy lives.

Before his fall, Satan was once a powerful archangel named Lucifer, created by God as a beautiful being of light and music. Ezekiel 28:13–15 describes him as covered in precious stones, perfect in wisdom and beauty, and anointed as the guardian cherub. He was created to worship and glorify God, possibly leading heavenly music and praise. However, pride corrupted his heart. Isaiah 14:12–14 reveals his rebellion: he desired to exalt himself above God, saying, “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.” Because of this pride and defiance, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and became Satan, the adversary.

After his fall, Satan turned his gifts of influence and sound toward destruction. Ephesians 2:2 identifies him as the “prince of the power of the air,” meaning he now manipulates communication, culture, and media to spread rebellion against God. Through music, entertainment, and digital airwaves, Satan works subtly to influence minds and hearts, using the same power of sound that once brought glory to God to now promote pride, lust, violence, and defiance. His goal is to pervert what was once holy—to turn worship away from God and toward self, fame, or darkness.

Why They May Need Deliverance

Those who have embraced punk culture or music deeply may have unknowingly invited a spirit of rebellion, anger, or rejection into their lives. Signs of spiritual bondage might include:

  • Constant anger or hatred toward authority

  • Self-destructive behavior

  • Addiction, depression, or confusion

  • Mocking or hatred of God and Christianity

Deliverance begins with repentance—turning away from rebellion and surrendering to Jesus Christ.
A prayer for freedom might include:

“Lord Jesus, I repent for agreeing with the spirit of rebellion through punk music. I renounce all influences of anger, hatred, and self-worship. I choose to submit my life fully to You. Cleanse my heart and fill me with Your peace. Amen.”

When a person turns from rebellion to Christ, they experience true freedom—not through defiance, but through submission to God’s love and order.

Why Psychometry Opens the Door to Demonic Influence

Why Psychometry Opens the Door to Demonic Influence

Why Psychometry Opens the Door to Demonic Influence

In today’s culture, curiosity about the supernatural often blurs the line between spiritual truth and occult deception. One lesser-known but dangerous practice is psychometry — the supposed ability to receive information about a person or event by holding an object associated with them. While it might appear harmless or even fascinating, psychometry is not from God. In fact, it’s rooted in divination—a practice that Scripture strongly condemns.

What Is Psychometry?

Psychometry, also known as “object reading,” involves a person—often called a psychic or medium—claiming to sense impressions, emotions, or visions simply by touching or holding objects like jewelry, clothing, or photographs. The belief is that these objects “absorb” energy from their owners, allowing the psychometrist to reveal information about them.

Many who practice psychometry think they are gifted with a “sixth sense” or spiritual sensitivity. Some even claim they are helping people find closure, solve crimes, or connect with deceased loved ones. But in reality, what they are tapping into are demonic familiar spirits—entities that impersonate human souls or communicate counterfeit revelations to lead people away from God’s truth.

Who Created or Popularized Psychometry?

The term psychometry was first introduced in the 1840s by Joseph Rodes Buchanan, an American professor and physician who believed that all objects possess an invisible “vital energy.” Buchanan taught that this energy could be read by those with psychic sensitivity. Later, the concept was expanded by other spiritualists and occultists, including William Denton, who claimed to see visions of ancient history through psychometric impressions of fossils and artifacts.

Buchanan and Denton were deeply influenced by mesmerism, spiritualism, and occult philosophies popular in the 19th century. Their theories fit right into the rise of séances, mediumship, and energy-based healing—all of which sought supernatural experiences outside of God.

Who Is Their “God”?

In psychometry and related psychic arts, the source of revelation is not the Holy Spirit, but familiar spirits—demonic entities that disguise themselves as guides, ancestors, or the “universal consciousness.” Practitioners often speak of “the universe,” “energy fields,” or “spirit guides” instead of the one true God.

The Bible clearly distinguishes between the Spirit of God and lying spirits. In Leviticus 19:31, God commands,

“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”

This means when someone seeks supernatural knowledge apart from the Holy Spirit, they are entering into spiritual defilement and making a covenant with darkness, even unknowingly.

What Is the Purpose of Psychometry and Why Is It Used?

The purpose of psychometry is to gain information that is hidden—such as the past, future, or secrets of others—through supernatural means. People use it for:

  • Solving mysteries or crimes

  • Discovering personal insights or guidance

  • Connecting with lost loved ones

  • Exploring spirituality outside of religion

But this “knowledge” does not come from God. It is counterfeit revelation, a trick of the enemy to mimic the prophetic gifts of the Holy Spirit. Satan has always wanted humanity to desire hidden knowledge apart from God (Genesis 3:5). Psychometry continues that same deception.

Why Would Anyone Get Involved in Psychometry?

People are often drawn to psychometry out of curiosity, pain, or a desire for control. Many want to communicate with the dead, understand confusing life situations, or experience spiritual power. Unfortunately, this hunger for answers outside of God’s Word opens the door to spiritual bondage.

Demons entice people through accurate-sounding revelations or comforting messages. But as with all forms of divination, the cost is spiritual enslavement. Over time, practitioners and participants may experience fear, nightmares, confusion, or hearing voices. They might even develop psychic dependency—needing more readings for peace, instead of seeking God in prayer.

Is Psychometry Divination?

Yes. Psychometry is a clear form of divination, just as fortune telling, crystal gazing, or tarot reading are. It seeks supernatural knowledge apart from God.
Deuteronomy 18:10–12 warns:

“Let no one be found among you who… practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.”

This verse leaves no room for compromise. Any practice that relies on supernatural knowledge without the Holy Spirit is demonic.

Why They May Need Deliverance

Those who have participated in psychometry—whether giving or receiving readings—may need spiritual deliverance. Demonic attachments can form through:

  • Handling or “reading” cursed objects

  • Inviting spirit guides or energies

  • Making vows or mental agreements with unseen forces

Deliverance involves repenting, renouncing, and breaking ties with the spirit of divination and familiar spirits. A person must also cleanse their home and life from any objects tied to the occult.

A prayer for deliverance might include:

“Heavenly Father, I repent for seeking hidden knowledge through psychometry and any other form of divination. I renounce the spirit of divination and all familiar spirits. I declare Jesus Christ as my only source of truth and revelation. By His blood, I am set free. Amen.”

Need help! 🙌 Book your 1-on-1 Deliverance Session now and receive healing and freedom in Christ:

Final Warning

Psychometry may seem like an innocent exploration of intuition or energy, but behind it lurks the ancient spirit of deception. Only the Holy Spirit can give true revelation and healing. Remember Isaiah 8:19:

“When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God?”

The Bible calls believers to turn to God alone for wisdom, guidance, and truth—not to the energy of objects or spirits of the dead.

Psychokinesis: Moving Objects with the Mind or Opening Doors to Demons?

Introduction

Psychokinesis—also known as telekinesis—is the alleged ability to move or manipulate physical objects using only the power of the mind. Many people are fascinated by it, believing it’s a natural human potential or a “spiritual gift.” Movies, comics, and video games often glorify psychokinetic abilities as heroic or enlightened powers.

But what does the Bible say about this? Is psychokinesis a divine gift or a deception of the enemy? When we look closely, psychokinesis is not a scientific phenomenon or God-given ability. It is rooted in occult practices, fueled by demonic power, and stands in direct opposition to God’s Word.

What Is Psychokinesis?

Psychokinesis (from the Greek psyche, meaning “mind,” and kinesis, meaning “movement”) refers to the supposed ability to move or influence physical matter without physical contact—by the mind alone. This includes bending metal objects, levitating items, or altering dice rolls through concentration.

Modern believers in psychokinesis view it as a demonstration of “energy control” or “mind over matter.” However, no scientific proof exists that humans can generate this kind of power naturally. What does exist is a long record of occult rituals, psychic practices, and demonic manifestations that mimic this phenomenon.

Origins of the Idea

The concept of psychokinesis became popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries during the rise of spiritualism and psychical research. Early mediums like Daniel Dunglas Home and Eusapia Palladino claimed to levitate objects, play instruments, and even float in the air during séances.

Researchers such as J.B. Rhine at Duke University in the 1930s tried to study telekinesis scientifically, but his experiments lacked credible evidence. Most modern cases of psychokinesis are exposed as frauds or involve spiritual manifestations from unseen entities—what Scripture calls “familiar spirits.”

From a biblical view, psychokinesis is not a human mental ability—it’s a supernatural act of demonic power, performed to deceive people into believing they can be “like gods.”

What Are Their Beliefs?

Those who practice or study psychokinesis typically believe that:

  • The mind or consciousness is an energy field capable of influencing matter.

  • Humans possess latent psychic abilities that can be awakened through meditation, willpower, or training.

  • These powers represent spiritual evolution or higher consciousness.

  • Physical laws can be bent or transcended through mental focus.

These beliefs mirror ancient occult philosophies found in Hinduism, Buddhism, and New Age mysticism, where practitioners claim to tap into a “universal energy” or “life force” known as prana, chi, or ki.

However, Scripture makes it clear that power belongs only to God (Psalm 62:11). Any supernatural ability that bypasses God’s authority comes from a counterfeit source—the devil.

Who Is Their God or gods?

The gods of psychokinesis are not the God of the Bible. Those who engage in psychic or telekinetic practices often invoke cosmic energies, spirit guides, or ascended masters—demonic entities posing as enlightened beings.

Exodus 20:3 warns, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” The power behind psychokinesis is not divine—it is demonic. Satan seeks to imitate the works of God by giving people counterfeit abilities that appear spiritual but lead to bondage.

In Acts 8:9–11, Simon the sorcerer amazed people with “great power,” yet he was operating through demonic influence. Similarly, psychokinesis offers false wonder and pride, drawing people away from dependence on the Holy Spirit.

What Is the Purpose of Psychokinesis?

The purpose behind psychokinesis is twofold: self-exaltation and deception. Practitioners seek to prove that man can control reality through his own mind—echoing Satan’s original lie in the Garden of Eden: “Ye shall be as gods” (Genesis 3:5).

It is used to:

  • Display supernatural “proof” of spiritual advancement

  • Entice curiosity about hidden powers

  • Demonstrate independence from God

  • Validate occult teachings about energy manipulation

But the ultimate purpose from Satan’s perspective is to open spiritual doors—to invite demonic influence under the illusion of “mental power.”

Why People Get Involved

People become involved with psychokinesis for many reasons:

  • Curiosity about supernatural abilities

  • Desire for control over circumstances or nature

  • Fascination with psychic or paranormal experiences

  • Influence from movies, anime, and occult culture

  • Seeking power, recognition, or spiritual awakening

But behind this curiosity lies a spiritual trap. Once a person experiments with psychic phenomena, demons gain legal access to influence their thoughts and emotions. They can manifest as false power, then torment the person through fear, pride, or obsession.

Is Psychokinesis Divination?

Yes, psychokinesis qualifies as divination, because it involves manipulating or influencing the physical world through supernatural forces outside of God’s will. Deuteronomy 18:10–12 forbids “one who uses divination or an enchanter or a witch or a consulter with familiar spirits.”

While some may argue psychokinesis is scientific or natural, the spiritual reality is that it originates from occult roots. It replaces prayer and faith with mental control and human pride. Anything that attempts to wield spiritual power apart from God’s authority is divination and witchcraft in disguise.

Why Deliverance Is Needed

Anyone who has practiced or pursued psychokinesis needs deliverance and repentance. In attempting to access hidden power, a person opens themselves to demonic control. Signs of oppression may include:

  • Strange movements of objects or poltergeist activity

  • Sudden anger, confusion, or nightmares

  • Pride in supernatural experiences

  • Fear of losing control or spiritual darkness

Deliverance begins with repentance and renunciation:

“Heavenly Father, I repent for seeking psychic power and control through my mind. I renounce the spirit of divination, witchcraft, and pride. I break every agreement made with demonic forces in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, fill me with Your peace and truth. Amen.”

True power and peace come only from God through Jesus Christ—not through mental manipulation. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to overcome evil, not to imitate it.

Conclusion

Psychokinesis may seem like harmless curiosity or human potential, but biblically it is a form of occult divination rooted in demonic deception. God forbids His people from engaging in practices that seek supernatural control apart from Him.

No human mind can move matter by its own will—only God commands creation. To seek that power is to fall into the same pride that caused Lucifer’s downfall.

If you’ve experimented with telekinesis or psychic powers, there is hope. Jesus Christ breaks every yoke of deception and offers freedom to all who repent and turn to Him.
