The Hidden Dangers of Opening the Third Eye
In New Age spirituality, “awakening the third eye” is often promoted as a path to enlightenment, intuition, and spiritual insight. But what’s rarely mentioned is the dangerous spiritual territory it opens—doors to the demonic realm masked as “inner wisdom.” This practice is not of God—it is rooted in occultism, pagan cultures, and demonic deception.
What Is the Third Eye?
The third eye is commonly linked to the pineal gland, a small endocrine gland in the brain that produces melatonin. Spiritually, it is believed to be the “gateway” to higher consciousness, psychic realms, and even spirit beings. But Scripture warns us against seeking hidden knowledge outside of God (Deut. 29:29; Col. 2:8).
The Satanic Portal
When one intentionally activates the third eye—whether through meditation, chanting “Om,” essential oils, or using crystals—they are not encountering the Holy Spirit, but accessing the second heaven—the dwelling place of principalities and demonic forces. You become a conduit for unclean spirits and psychic manifestations.
Symptoms of third eye awakening include:

Visualizing spirit beings

Seeing lights or hearing voices

Loss of bodily control
These are not gifts from God but signs of spiritual bondage needing deliverance.
Cultural Roots and Occult Connections
Practices to open the third eye are rooted in:

Egypt: Eye of Horus/Osiris

Freemasonry: The All-Seeing Eye
Even in Hebrew, the word “eye” in Genesis is singular—the serpent promised hidden knowledge to Eve, not physical sight.
This pursuit of “esoteric knowledge” bypasses God and taps into Satan’s lies—offering power while enslaving the soul.
Jezebel’s Strategy: Demoralizing a Nation
The same spirit that fuels third eye deception is operating on a national level. The Jezebel principality is actively working to remove God, pervert children, and hinder revival in America. Our nation was dedicated to God by George Washington—but Jezebel hates revival. She influences Congress and culture, pushing occultism, rebellion, and deception.
But we have authority in Christ to pray, repent, and remind God of our national covenant. Through intercession and deliverance, we can reclaim spiritual ground from Jezebel and the occult.
