Concept Therapy Exposed: The Occult “Great Secret” Behind Healing

🚨 Concept Therapy Exposed: The Occult “Great Secret” Behind Healing

Concept Therapy Exposed: The Occult “Great Secret” Behind Healing

Concept Therapy presents itself as a scientific, mental, and chiropractic “enhancement technique,” teaching that faulty concepts in human consciousness cause disease and that by replacing these thoughts with “positive” ones, the body can activate “innate intelligence” to heal itself. While this sounds harmless—even appealing to those seeking healing—it is rooted in occult philosophy, New Age deception, and counterfeit spirituality that contradicts the Word of God.

🌍 Where Did Concept Therapy Come From?

Concept Therapy was founded in the early 20th century by Dr. Thurman Fleet, a chiropractor from Texas. Dr. Fleet taught that all sickness originates in “wrong concepts” in the subconscious mind and that healing comes when one aligns with the “great secret” of universal truth.

Fleet’s teachings borrowed heavily from New Thought philosophy, metaphysics, and Hermeticism. These movements taught that man’s mind has divine creative power, and by aligning with the “universal mind,” one could manipulate health, circumstances, and even spiritual realities.

This worldview is not biblical—it is a recycled form of ancient occultism rooted in self-deification.

🌀 Their Beliefs and “God”

Concept Therapy teaches that man has access to an “innate intelligence” that governs health. This “innate” is presented almost as a divine force or god within each person, resembling the Hindu idea of atman (divine self) or the New Age concept of “universal energy.”

Rather than recognizing the true God—YHWH, Creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1)—Concept Therapy elevates the human mind and inner intelligence as the source of healing. In practice, this denies dependence on the Lord Jesus Christ, replacing Him with a counterfeit “god of self.”

Scripture warns:

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like…man.” (Romans 1:22–23)

🎯 Purpose of the Modality and Why It’s Used

The stated purpose of Concept Therapy is to:

  • Reprogram faulty concepts in the subconscious mind.

  • Empower the body’s “innate intelligence” to self-heal.

  • Enhance the effectiveness of chiropractic adjustments.

In other words, it’s designed to bypass God’s design for healing and instead empower the mind as the ultimate authority. Many are drawn to it because they are desperate for healing, peace, or control over their lives—but what begins as hope often becomes spiritual bondage.

⚠️ Is It Divination?

Yes—Concept Therapy falls under the category of divination and occult practices because it taps into hidden, mystical knowledge that replaces trust in God with dependence on man’s own power. By invoking “innate intelligence” and the “great secret,” it draws upon the same deceptive principles as New Age visualization, positive confession, and metaphysical science.

Deuteronomy 18:10–12 warns against seeking hidden or mystical knowledge outside of God:

“There shall not be found among you anyone…who uses divination…or practices witchcraft…or conjures spells…For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.”

👿 Demonic Manifestations Through Concept Therapy

When Christians participate in or inherit involvement with Concept Therapy, they open spiritual doors to demonic oppression. This happens in several ways:

  1. Idolatry of Self-Healing – Exalting “innate intelligence” as a god invites the spirit of pride and self-worship. (Isaiah 14:13–14 – Lucifer’s downfall was pride in wanting to be like God.)

  2. Spirit of Deception – Believing a “secret truth” for healing replaces faith in the blood of Jesus with trust in occult principles. This allows lying spirits to operate.

  3. Spirits of Infirmity – Rather than being healed, people may experience worsening illness, cycles of sickness, or torment because they’ve partnered with counterfeit healing. (Luke 13:11 – the woman bound with a spirit of infirmity.)

  4. Generational Consequences – If your ancestors practiced Concept Therapy or similar metaphysical healing methods, you may inherit curses of confusion, infirmity, or occult bondage until renounced. (Exodus 20:5 – sins of the fathers visited upon the children.)

🙏 Biblical Truth About Healing

God alone is the source of true healing—not man’s concepts or hidden “innate intelligence.” Scripture makes this clear:

  • Exodus 15:26 – “For I am the LORD who heals you.”

  • Psalm 103:2–3 – “Bless the LORD…who heals all your diseases.”

  • Isaiah 53:5 – “By His stripes we are healed.”

  • Acts 10:38 – Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Healing is not unlocked by positive thoughts or tapping into mystical energies—it is a gift from the living God through Jesus Christ.

🚪 Closing Open Doors

If you or your family have been involved in Concept Therapy, you must repent and renounce it in prayer. Example prayer:

“Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I repent for seeking healing through Concept Therapy and for trusting in false gods of innate intelligence. I renounce every occult spirit, lying spirit, and spirit of infirmity that entered through this practice. I break every generational curse tied to these practices and command every demonic power to leave me now in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.”

✝️ Conclusion

Concept Therapy may appear scientific, harmless, or even “Christianized” through positive thinking—but its roots are in occult New Thought, its “god” is not the God of the Bible, and its fruit leads to demonic oppression. True healing, freedom, and restoration can only come through the Lord Jesus Christ.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Acupressure Roots

Is Acupressure or Accupuncture Safe for Christians? The Hidden Dangers of Qi Energy Healing

Is Acupressure Safe for Christians? The Hidden Dangers of Qi Energy Healing

The Dark Spiritual Roots of Acupressure: A Christian Warning

Acupressure is often described as “acupuncture without the needles,” but what lies beneath this seemingly gentle healing art is spiritually dangerous for Christians. Acupressure originated in ancient Chinese medicine and predates acupuncture. It is rooted in the philosophy of Taoism, which promotes Qi (or "chi")—a mystical, invisible "life energy" said to flow through meridians, or energy channels, in the body.

This method involves pressing specific acupoints using fingers and thumbs to supposedly restore energy flow and balance, alleviate ailments, and promote harmony. While this practice has become increasingly popular in Western wellness circles, its spiritual foundation directly conflicts with biblical truth.

Acupressure and Its Eastern Variants

  • In China, acupressure is commonly practiced as tuina, a form of traditional massage.

  • In Japan, the earliest forms were known as anma, which later evolved into what’s now called shiatsu.

  • Some historical records also reference shin tao, possibly the oldest method of acupressure.

Despite the variations in name or technique, the spiritual principles remain consistent: manipulating unseen energy fields in the body—a belief system derived from Taoist cosmology, not from the Word of God.

Is God Energy?

No, God, the creator of the universe and the God of the bible for Christians and Jews is not typically understood as simply "energy" in most mainstream religious or philosophical contextsWhile some interpretations may use the concept of energy to describe God's power or presence, God is generally understood as a being or a force that transcends the physical world, including energy. Abrahamic faiths like Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, view God as a transcendent being, existing outside of the physical universe and its laws,

Why Christians Must Be Cautious

Acupressure, like acupuncture, is not just a physical practice—it is deeply spiritual. Its foundation is built on pagan philosophy, where energy balancing is achieved through non-physical means and spiritual concepts foreign to Scripture.

While some practitioners may claim that acupressure is merely a physical method of relieving tension or pain, the intent behind the method matters. The concept of Qi energy is not scientific; it's spiritual. It's a belief system that denies the biblical model of creation, sin, and redemption.

Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

Even more troubling is the reality that acupressure ignores sin as a root cause of sickness. While the Bible tells us to repent, confess sins, and anoint with oil for healing (James 5:14–16), Eastern medicine focuses on energetic balance, completely removing God from the healing process.

James 5:14-16 (KJV)"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church... and the prayer of faith shall save the sick..."

A False Path to Healing

The devil’s strategy has always been to distract mankind from the true source of healing—Jesus Christ. Acupressure encourages people to seek power and peace through energy manipulations rather than turning to the cross. This opens spiritual doors to deception, oppression, and demonic influence.

Many who engage in acupressure, Reiki, and other Eastern healing methods begin experiencing:

  • Confusion or spiritual apathy

  • Nightmares or sleep disturbances

  • Physical symptoms worsening after temporary relief

  • Increased interest in other New Age practices

  • Emotional instability or spiritual dryness

What may start as “natural healing” can become an entry point for spiritual bondage. Even if symptoms improve temporarily, the root spiritual problem remains untreated.

God's Healing is Sufficient

We must return to biblical principles of healing. Healing comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not through aligning one’s body with invisible energy flows or Eastern mysticism.

Psalm 103:2-3 (KJV)“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”

No Christian should seek healing from systems rooted in paganism. When we pursue ungodly healing methods, we are rejecting the God of the Bible and turning to an idol—even if that idol is disguised as health, balance, or “natural medicine.”

1 Corinthians 10:20 (KJV)"But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God..."

Repentance Prayer

If you have participated in acupressure, acupuncture, or other occult healing practices, pray the following:

Heavenly Father,
I repent for seeking healing outside of Your will and turning to false, occult-based systems. I renounce all involvement with Qi energy, Taoism, and every healing practice rooted in darkness. I break every tie to ungodly spirits and command every spirit attached to these practices to leave me now in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, cleanse me, restore me, and heal me by Your blood alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
