Telekinesis: A Biblical Warning About Moving Objects by Mental Power

Telekinesis: A Biblical Warning About Moving Objects by Mental Power, Psychic Force, and Occult Deception

Telekinesis: A Biblical Warning About Moving Objects by Mental Power, Psychic Force, and Occult Deception

What Is Telekinesis?

Telekinesis, sometimes called TK or psychokinesis, is the claimed ability to move, bend, lift, influence, or control objects at a distance by mental power, psychic force, energy, or other nonphysical means.

People who believe in telekinesis may claim they can:

  • Move objects with the mind
  • Bend spoons or metal
  • Influence dice, cards, or machines
  • Make objects fall, shake, or move
  • Affect lights, electronics, or appliances
  • Move objects through “energy”
  • Use mental force to control matter
  • Develop supernatural power through meditation or occult training

Telekinesis is often connected with psychic development, New Age spirituality, witchcraft, occult powers, energy work, spirit guides, divination, and paranormal practices.

From a biblical perspective, the danger is not in a person having strong focus or imagination. The danger is seeking supernatural power, control, or manifestation apart from God.

God never told His people to develop psychic powers. He told us to seek Him.

Where Did the Idea of Telekinesis Come From?

The idea of moving objects through spiritual or mental power appears in occult, psychic, paranormal, and mystical traditions. It became especially popular through spiritualism, psychic research, magic demonstrations, New Age teachings, and paranormal entertainment.

There is no single founder of telekinesis. The concept developed through occult and psychic belief systems that teach the human mind can influence the physical world through hidden power.

Telekinesis is often grouped with:

  • ESP
  • Psychic powers
  • Mediumship
  • Spirit communication
  • Energy manipulation
  • Witchcraft
  • Sorcery
  • Remote influence
  • New Age mind power
  • Paranormal activity
  • Poltergeist phenomena

Some people present telekinesis as a “natural human ability.” Others openly connect it to spirits, meditation, energy fields, or occult training.

A Christian must ask: What is the source of this power?

Is Telekinesis Scientifically Proven?

Telekinesis is widely claimed in paranormal circles, but it has not been reliably proven as a normal human ability. Many public claims of telekinesis have been exposed as tricks, illusions, suggestion, stage magic, or deception.

However, Christians should not dismiss all supernatural activity as fake. The Bible teaches that supernatural power can come from God, but it also warns that counterfeit signs, lying wonders, divination, witchcraft, and demonic power are real.

The question is not only, “Can something supernatural happen?”

The deeper question is, “Is this from God?”

Is Telekinesis in the Bible?

The exact word “telekinesis” is not in the Bible. However, the Bible warns against seeking supernatural power through forbidden spiritual sources.

Deuteronomy 18:10–12

“There shall not be found among you any one that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD.”

Telekinesis can fall under occult power when it is pursued through psychic development, witchcraft, spirit guides, mental force, rituals, energy work, or supernatural control apart from God.

Acts 8:9–23

Simon the sorcerer amazed people with sorcery and wanted spiritual power for himself. Peter rebuked him because his heart was not right before God.

Acts 16:16–18

A young woman had a spirit of divination. She had supernatural ability, but the source was demonic. Paul cast the spirit out in the name of Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:9

The Bible warns of “lying wonders.”

2 Corinthians 11:14

Satan can transform himself into an angel of light. Not every supernatural experience is from God.

Why Is Telekinesis Against God’s Word?

Telekinesis is against God’s Word when it becomes the pursuit of supernatural power outside the authority of Jesus Christ.

God does not call His people to manipulate objects by psychic power.

God does not call His people to develop occult abilities.

God does not call His people to move matter through mental force.

God does not call His people to partner with spirit guides, energy fields, or hidden powers.

The Holy Spirit gives gifts according to God’s will. Occult power seeks control according to man’s will.

There is a difference between the power of God and the power of the occult.

Is Telekinesis the Same as the Power of God?

No. Telekinesis is not the same as the power of God.

In Scripture, miracles are done by the power of God for His glory, His purpose, and His kingdom. They point people to repentance, faith, deliverance, healing, and Jesus Christ.

Telekinesis is usually focused on human power, psychic ability, mental force, paranormal demonstration, or personal control.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus.

Occult power glorifies self, ability, mystery, control, or hidden knowledge.

A Christian must not confuse supernatural ability with the anointing of God.

What Is Telekinesis Used For?

Telekinesis may be pursued for:

  • Demonstrating psychic power
  • Moving objects
  • Bending metal
  • Affecting dice or cards
  • Manipulating electronics
  • Paranormal experiments
  • Energy work
  • Occult training
  • Witchcraft
  • Mind power practices
  • Entertainment
  • Control
  • Spiritual pride
  • New Age “manifestation”
  • Contact with spirits
  • Proof of hidden ability

Some people try to develop telekinesis through meditation, visualization, breathwork, chanting, spirit guides, rituals, concentration exercises, occult books, psychic circles, or online paranormal training.

These practices can open dangerous spiritual doors.

Why Would Someone Get Involved in Telekinesis?

People may pursue telekinesis for many reasons.

1. Curiosity

They want to know if they can move objects with their mind.

2. Desire for Power

They want supernatural ability, control, or influence.

3. Rebellion

They may want power apart from God’s authority.

4. New Age Influence

Telekinesis is often promoted with manifestation, energy work, chakras, kundalini, and psychic development.

5. Occult Fascination

Some are drawn to witchcraft, magic, paranormal activity, or supernatural abilities.

6. Trauma or Powerlessness

A person who felt powerless may seek psychic power to feel strong or protected.

7. Entertainment

Movies, shows, games, and social media can make telekinesis look exciting or harmless.

8. Spiritual Deception

Some believe telekinesis proves they are spiritually awakened, gifted, or chosen.

But supernatural ability without Jesus is not freedom. It is bondage.

How Can Telekinesis Hurt a Christian?

Telekinesis can hurt a Christian by opening doors to occult spirits and deception.

Possible effects may include:

  • Spiritual pride
  • Fascination with power
  • Fear
  • Confusion
  • Occult curiosity
  • Attraction to witchcraft
  • Attraction to New Age practices
  • Nightmares
  • Strange manifestations
  • Poltergeist-like activity
  • Hearing voices
  • Feeling watched
  • Mental torment
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • Familiar spirits
  • Divination spirits
  • Witchcraft spirits
  • Mind-control spirits
  • Loss of peace
  • Difficulty praying
  • Resistance to Scripture
  • Dependence on psychic ability instead of God

The enemy often draws people in through curiosity and keeps them bound through fear, pride, and supernatural experiences.

Can Telekinesis Be Connected to Demons?

Yes. If a person experiences objects moving, shaking, falling, or being influenced through spiritual power outside of God, demons may be involved.

In deliverance ministry, some supernatural manifestations are connected to:

  • Witchcraft
  • Poltergeist activity
  • Familiar spirits
  • Sorcery
  • Spirit guides
  • Occult rituals
  • Cursed objects
  • Haunted houses
  • Mediumship
  • Ancestral spirits
  • Demonic oppression

A Christian should never try to control or develop this type of activity. They should repent, renounce occult involvement, remove cursed objects, and command spirits to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.

Is Telekinesis the Same as Faith?

No. Telekinesis is not biblical faith.

Faith trusts God.

Telekinesis tries to move matter through mental power.

Faith submits to God’s will.

Telekinesis attempts to exercise personal supernatural control.

Faith glorifies Jesus Christ.

Telekinesis often glorifies the person’s ability.

Jesus taught faith in God, not psychic force.

Is Telekinesis the Same as Spiritual Gifts?

No. Spiritual gifts come from the Holy Spirit and operate under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Telekinesis is generally connected to psychic power, paranormal ability, energy manipulation, or occult force.

The gifts of the Spirit are not toys. They are not used to impress people, show off power, or manipulate the physical world for entertainment.

A Christian should desire the Holy Spirit, not psychic powers.

What Spirits Can Be Connected to Telekinesis?

From a deliverance perspective, telekinesis may open doors to spirits such as:

  • Witchcraft
  • Sorcery
  • Divination
  • Familiar spirits
  • Spirit guides
  • Python
  • Mind control
  • Pride
  • Rebellion
  • Occult power
  • Deception
  • Fear
  • Poltergeist spirits
  • Kundalini
  • New Age spirits
  • Psychic spirits
  • False signs and wonders
  • Control
  • Manipulation

What Curses or Bondages Can Come Through Telekinesis?

1. Curse of Witchcraft

Pursuing supernatural power apart from God can open the door to witchcraft.

2. Curse of Sorcery

Using hidden power, rituals, spirits, or psychic force can create demonic bondage.

3. Curse of Pride

Psychic ability can create spiritual pride and a desire to be powerful or special.

4. Curse of Fear

Paranormal activity can bring fear, torment, and dread.

5. Curse of Confusion

A person may confuse demonic power with spiritual gifting.

6. Curse of Familiar Spirits

Spirits may attach themselves and provide supernatural manifestations to deceive.

7. Curse of Control

Telekinesis is often rooted in the desire to control matter, circumstances, or people.

8. Generational Occult Bondage

If witchcraft, psychic powers, mediumship, sorcery, divination, or occult practices are in the family line, telekinesis may be connected to generational spirits.

Signs You May Need Deliverance After Telekinesis or Psychic Power Practices

You may need deliverance if you experience:

  • Objects moving, falling, shaking, or breaking without explanation
  • Fear in the home
  • Shadows or dark presence
  • Nightmares
  • Hearing voices
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • Strong pull toward occult practices
  • Strange body sensations
  • Psychic impressions
  • Electrical disturbances
  • Obsession with supernatural power
  • Difficulty praying
  • Loss of peace
  • Confusion about God’s voice
  • Pride over spiritual ability
  • Compulsion to practice psychic exercises
  • Attraction to witchcraft or New Age teachings

These signs do not always mean telekinesis is involved, but if they began after occult practices, the door should be renounced and closed.

What Should a Christian Do If They Practiced Telekinesis?

1. Repent

Confess seeking supernatural power apart from God.

2. Renounce It

Renounce telekinesis, psychokinesis, psychic powers, energy manipulation, mind power, spirit guides, witchcraft, and occult training.

3. Break Agreements

Break every agreement with spirits, psychic development, occult ability, New Age practices, and supernatural control.

4. Destroy Occult Materials

Destroy books, objects, videos, notes, symbols, tools, or items used for telekinesis or psychic development.

5. Remove Cursed Objects

Ask the Lord to reveal any occult objects in the home.

6. Cancel Assignments

Cancel every demonic manifestation, sign, wonder, curse, and assignment connected to telekinesis.

7. Seek Deliverance

If manifestations, fear, poltergeist activity, oppression, or torment continues, seek biblical deliverance.

Deliverance Prayer for Renouncing Telekinesis

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You in repentance.

I confess and repent for any involvement in telekinesis, psychokinesis, psychic powers, moving objects by mental power, energy manipulation, mind power, occult training, witchcraft, sorcery, divination, spirit guides, New Age practices, paranormal activity, and every attempt to use supernatural power apart from You.

I repent for seeking power, control, attention, proof, protection, or supernatural ability outside of Jesus Christ.

I renounce telekinesis and every spirit behind it.

I renounce witchcraft, sorcery, divination, familiar spirits, spirit guides, psychic power, mind control, occult power, pride, rebellion, fear, deception, poltergeist spirits, and false signs and wonders.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I break every agreement I made knowingly or unknowingly with telekinesis, psychokinesis, psychic development, occult power, energy manipulation, and spirit communication.

I cancel every demonic manifestation, moving object, sign, wonder, assignment, curse, ritual, vow, dedication, and legal right connected to telekinesis.

I command every demon that entered through telekinesis, psychic powers, witchcraft, sorcery, divination, New Age practices, or occult curiosity to leave me now in the name of Jesus Christ.

I close every open door. I break every legal right. I cancel every assignment of darkness.

Lord Jesus, wash me in Your blood. Cleanse my mind, spirit, body, emotions, imagination, home, family line, and everything connected to me.

Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Restore my peace, discernment, humility, and trust in Your Word.

I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I reject psychic power. I reject occult power. I seek the power of the Holy Spirit alone.

In Jesus Christ’s name, amen.

Final Warning

Telekinesis may sound exciting, mysterious, or powerful, but it is not a biblical gift.

Christians should not pursue psychic powers, mind-over-matter abilities, energy manipulation, spirit guides, or supernatural control apart from God.

The Holy Spirit gives gifts according to the will of God. Occult power seeks control according to man's will.

If you have practiced telekinesis, psychokinesis, psychic power, energy work, spirit communication, witchcraft, or New Age practices, repent and renounce them.

Thought Transference and Telepathy: A Biblical Warning*

Thought Transference and Telepathy: A Biblical Warning About Mind-to-Mind Communication, Psychic Power, and Occult Deception

Thought Transference and Telepathy: A Biblical Warning About Mind-to-Mind Communication, Psychic Power, and Occult Deception

What Is Thought Transference or Telepathy?

Thought transference, also called telepathy, is commonly defined as the supposed transfer of thoughts, feelings, impressions, images, or messages from one person’s mind to another person’s mind without normal communication.

In other words, telepathy claims that a person can send or receive thoughts without speaking, writing, texting, using body language, or using known human senses.

Some people describe telepathy as:

  • Mind reading
  • Thought sending
  • Thought projection
  • Psychic communication
  • Mental messaging
  • ESP, or extrasensory perception
  • Soul communication
  • Energy communication
  • Spirit-to-spirit communication
  • Communication through the “higher self”
  • Communication with spirit guides
  • Twin flame communication
  • Animal telepathy
  • Psychic bonding

From a biblical perspective, Christians must be very careful. God can place someone on your heart to pray. The Holy Spirit can give discernment, conviction, wisdom, or a burden to intercede. But seeking psychic communication, mind reading, thought projection, spirit messages, or hidden knowledge apart from God is spiritually dangerous.

The Holy Spirit does not need occult telepathy to speak.

Where Did Telepathy Come From?

The idea of thought transference has existed in many mystical, occult, spiritualist, and psychic traditions. People have long claimed that thoughts, emotions, dreams, warnings, or spiritual messages can be transferred from one mind to another.

The modern word telepathy was coined in 1882 by Frederic W. H. Myers, one of the founders of the Society for Psychical Research. The term became popular in connection with psychical research, spiritualism, ESP, mediumship studies, and attempts to prove psychic abilities.

There is no single founder of telepathy as a belief. It developed through spiritualism, psychic experimentation, occult traditions, parapsychology, New Age teachings, and metaphysical practices.

Today, telepathy is often promoted in:

  • New Age teachings
  • Psychic development courses
  • Mediumship
  • Spirit guide communication
  • Twin flame communities
  • Animal communication
  • Energy healing
  • Remote viewing
  • Occult meditation
  • Channeling
  • Witchcraft
  • Manifestation teachings
  • “Higher self” spirituality

What Is Telepathy Used For?

Telepathy may be used or claimed for:

  • Mind reading
  • Sending thoughts to someone
  • Receiving thoughts from someone
  • Psychic communication
  • Spirit communication
  • Twin flame messaging
  • Sending love or energy
  • Manipulating another person’s emotions
  • Influencing someone’s decisions
  • Receiving hidden information
  • Communicating with the dead
  • Animal communication
  • Remote sensing
  • Psychic readings
  • Spiritual guidance
  • New Age healing
  • Channeling messages
  • Attempting to control or influence another person

Some people claim telepathy is harmless or natural. Others use it intentionally as a psychic or occult practice. The danger increases when someone tries to develop the ability, open the mind, receive messages, communicate with spirits, or influence another person mentally.

Is Telepathy Scientifically Proven?

Telepathy has been studied in psychical research and parapsychology, but it has not been proven in a reliable, repeatable way under normal scientific standards. Many experiments have been criticized for problems with controls, repeatability, and interpretation.

However, Christians should not base discernment only on whether something is scientifically proven. The Bible warns that there are real spiritual powers behind divination, familiar spirits, sorcery, and occult practices.

Something can be unproven scientifically and still be spiritually dangerous when people seek forbidden knowledge or power through occult means.

Is Telepathy Mentioned in the Bible?

The exact word “telepathy” is not in the Bible, but the Bible does address the larger category of seeking hidden knowledge, spirit communication, divination, sorcery, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and supernatural guidance apart from God.

Leviticus 19:31

“Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”

Isaiah 8:19

“And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God?”

Acts 16:16–18

A girl had a spirit of divination and brought financial gain through fortune-telling. Paul did not celebrate her supernatural ability. He cast the spirit out in the name of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:14

“Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

Not every supernatural impression, inner voice, thought, or message is from God.

Why Is Telepathy Against God’s Word?

Telepathy becomes spiritually dangerous when it involves psychic power, mind reading, thought projection, hidden knowledge, spirit communication, manipulation, or receiving messages from unknown spiritual sources.

God does not tell His people to open their minds to receive thoughts from other people or spirits. He tells us to renew our minds with His Word.

Romans 12:2

“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

2 Corinthians 10:5

“Casting down imaginations… and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

A Christian is called to guard the mind, not open it to unknown spiritual channels.

Is Telepathy the Same as the Holy Spirit?

No. Telepathy is not the same as the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is God. He convicts, leads, teaches, comforts, empowers, and glorifies Jesus Christ.

Telepathy claims mind-to-mind communication or psychic transfer of thoughts. It often points people toward self-power, intuition, psychic development, energy, spirit guides, or hidden abilities.

The Holy Spirit does not need psychic exercises, thought projection, spirit guides, visualization rituals, third-eye activation, or energy channels.

The Holy Spirit always agrees with the Word of God and exalts Jesus Christ.

What Is the Difference Between Discernment and Telepathy?

Discernment is from the Holy Spirit. Telepathy is usually presented as psychic ability or mind-to-mind communication.

Discernment helps a believer recognize truth, error, spirits, motives, danger, or spiritual conditions as the Holy Spirit reveals.

Telepathy attempts to read, receive, send, or manipulate thoughts.

Discernment submits to God.

Telepathy seeks hidden access.

Discernment protects.

Telepathy can intrude, control, or deceive.

Discernment honors the Lord.

Telepathy often glorifies psychic ability.

Christians should seek discernment from the Holy Spirit, not telepathic power.

Is It Wrong If God Puts Someone on My Heart?

No. God can place someone on your heart to pray. The Holy Spirit may remind you of someone, burden you to intercede, or give wisdom to encourage them.

That is not the same as seeking telepathy.

The difference is the source and method.

A godly burden to pray leads you to Jesus, prayer, love, humility, and obedience.

Occult telepathy leads you to psychic power, mind reading, hidden messages, control, pride, curiosity, or spirit communication.

Why Would Someone Get Involved in Telepathy?

People may get involved in telepathy for many reasons.

1. Curiosity

They wonder if they can send or receive thoughts.

2. Desire for Control

They want to influence someone’s mind, emotions, decisions, or relationships.

3. Psychic Development

They want to increase occult or New Age abilities.

4. Relationship Obsession

Some people use telepathy teachings in twin flame, soulmate, or obsessive relationship communities.

5. Grief

Some seek communication with deceased loved ones.

6. Loneliness

They want spiritual connection or secret communication.

7. Power

They want supernatural ability, influence, or hidden knowledge.

8. New Age Deception

They are taught that everyone can awaken psychic gifts, communicate mentally, or connect through energy.

9. Trauma Bonding

Some people mistake trauma attachment, obsession, intrusive thoughts, or soul ties for telepathic connection.

How Can Telepathy Hurt a Christian?

Telepathy can harm a Christian spiritually, mentally, and emotionally by opening doors to:

  • Divination
  • Familiar spirits
  • Psychic spirits
  • Spirit guides
  • Mind-binding spirits
  • Witchcraft
  • Control
  • Manipulation
  • Fear
  • Confusion
  • Obsessive thoughts
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • False guidance
  • Spiritual pride
  • New Age deception
  • Ungodly soul ties
  • Emotional bondage
  • Torment

A person may begin by trying to “send love” or “receive thoughts,” but later experience voices, impressions, anxiety, obsession, confusion, spiritual heaviness, or dependence on psychic communication.

Can Telepathy Create Soul Ties?

Telepathy practices can strengthen ungodly soul ties, especially when connected to romance, sexual sin, twin flame beliefs, fantasy, obsession, or emotional dependency.

A person may believe:

  • “I can feel what they feel.”
  • “They are sending me thoughts.”
  • “We communicate in dreams.”
  • “We are spiritually connected.”
  • “I cannot break away from them.”
  • “They are always in my mind.”
  • “Our souls are linked.”

Sometimes this is not true spiritual connection. It may be obsession, trauma bonding, fantasy, demonic harassment, or an ungodly soul tie.

Jesus Christ can break every ungodly tie.

Can Telepathy Be Connected to Witchcraft?

Yes. Telepathy can connect with witchcraft when it involves sending thoughts, mental influence, psychic control, spirit communication, or manipulating another person’s will.

Witchcraft is often about control.

Trying to mentally influence someone, dominate their thoughts, send them emotions, or make them respond to you crosses into manipulation.

God does not give believers permission to control another person’s mind.

What Spirits Can Be Connected to Telepathy?

From a deliverance perspective, telepathy may open doors to spirits such as:

  • Divination
  • Familiar spirits
  • Psychic spirits
  • Spirit guides
  • Witchcraft
  • Python
  • Mind control
  • Mind binding
  • False prophecy
  • Deception
  • Confusion
  • Fear
  • Obsession
  • Lust
  • Seduction
  • Rejection
  • Loneliness
  • Spiritual pride
  • New Age spirits
  • Occult spirits
  • Spirit spouse
  • Twin flame deception
  • Astral spirits

These spirits may operate through dreams, thoughts, voices, impressions, emotions, visions, or compulsive mental connections.

What Curses or Bondages Can Come Through Telepathy?

1. Curse of Divination

Seeking hidden knowledge through psychic communication can open doors to divination.

2. Curse of Familiar Spirits

Unknown inner messages or impressions may come from familiar spirits.

3. Curse of Witchcraft

Trying to send thoughts or influence another person mentally can become witchcraft.

4. Curse of Confusion

The person may not know which thoughts are theirs, God’s, the enemy’s, or another person’s.

5. Curse of Fear

Fear may come through voices, impressions, warnings, or psychic predictions.

6. Curse of Obsession

A person may become mentally fixated on someone.

7. Curse of Mind Binding

The person may feel mentally trapped, controlled, or unable to think clearly.

8. Curse of False Guidance

A person may make decisions based on psychic messages instead of God’s Word.

9. Generational Occult Bondage

If psychic practices, divination, mediumship, witchcraft, or occult abilities are in the family line, telepathy may connect to generational spirits.

Signs You May Need Deliverance After Telepathy Practices

You may need deliverance if you experience:

  • Intrusive thoughts
  • Feeling mentally connected to someone
  • Hearing voices
  • Receiving unwanted impressions
  • Obsession with a person
  • Fear that someone is reading your mind
  • Belief that you can control someone’s thoughts
  • Nightmares
  • Spiritual heaviness
  • Confusion
  • Anxiety
  • Loss of peace
  • Difficulty praying
  • Difficulty reading the Bible
  • Strong pull toward psychic practices
  • Spirit guide communication
  • Dreams of people sending messages
  • Feeling watched or monitored
  • Mind fog
  • Compulsive need to send or receive thoughts

If these began after telepathy, psychic development, New Age practices, or occult involvement, the door should be renounced and closed.

What Should a Christian Do If They Practiced Telepathy?

1. Repent

Confess seeking psychic communication, mind reading, thought transfer, or hidden knowledge as sin.

2. Renounce It

Renounce telepathy, thought transference, psychic power, mind reading, spirit guides, and every occult practice connected to it.

3. Break Agreements

Break agreement with divination, familiar spirits, psychic spirits, mind control, soul ties, and New Age deception.

4. Cancel Thought Projections

Cancel every thought, message, emotion, command, or spiritual communication sent or received through occult means.

5. Break Ungodly Soul Ties

Break ties with people connected through romantic obsession, sexual sin, trauma bonding, twin flame beliefs, psychic connection, or spiritual dependency.

6. Guard Your Mind

Ask God to cleanse your mind and bring every thought captive to Christ.

7. Seek Deliverance

If voices, torment, obsession, fear, or mental confusion continue, seek biblical deliverance.

Deliverance Prayer for Renouncing Telepathy and Thought Transference

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You in repentance.

I confess and repent for any involvement in telepathy, thought transference, mind reading, thought projection, psychic communication, ESP, spirit communication, remote sensing, New Age mind practices, twin flame telepathy, animal telepathy, psychic development, spirit guides, and every form of seeking hidden knowledge apart from You.

I repent for opening my mind to unknown spiritual sources. I repent for trying to send thoughts, receive thoughts, read minds, influence minds, control emotions, or communicate spiritually apart from the Holy Spirit.

I renounce telepathy and every spirit behind it.

I renounce divination, familiar spirits, psychic spirits, spirit guides, witchcraft, Python, false prophecy, mind control, mind binding, deception, confusion, fear, obsession, and every counterfeit voice that is not the Holy Spirit.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I cancel every thought, message, image, impression, emotion, command, projection, signal, or spiritual communication sent or received through telepathy or occult means.

I break every ungodly soul tie formed through telepathy, psychic connection, sexual sin, fantasy, obsession, trauma bonding, twin flame beliefs, spirit communication, or emotional dependency.

I command every demon that entered through telepathy, thought transference, psychic communication, spirit guides, divination, witchcraft, or New Age practices to leave me now in the name of Jesus Christ.

I close every open door. I break every legal right. I cancel every assignment of darkness against my mind.

Lord Jesus, wash my mind in Your blood. Cleanse my thoughts, imagination, memory, dreams, emotions, soul, spirit, and body.

I put on the helmet of salvation. I bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. I declare that I have the mind of Christ.

Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Restore peace, soundness of mind, discernment, clarity, and truth.

I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I will seek God, not psychic power. I will listen to the Holy Spirit, not familiar spirits.

In Jesus Christ’s name, amen.

Final Warning

Telepathy may sound fascinating, spiritual, or even harmless, but seeking mind-to-mind communication, psychic messages, hidden knowledge, or thought projection apart from God can open doors to deception.

A Christian must not seek psychic power.

A Christian must not open the mind to unknown spirits.

A Christian must not try to control or influence another person’s thoughts.

God gives wisdom through His Word and His Spirit. He does not need telepathy, spirit guides, psychic exercises, or New Age practices.

If you have participated in telepathy, thought transference, mind reading, psychic communication, twin flame telepathy, spirit guides, or New Age mind practices, repent and renounce it.

You may need deliverance to close every spiritual door and break every legal right of the enemy.

Exposing Inner Voice Dictation

Exposing Inner Voice Dictation: A Demonic Deception Opposed to Christianity

Exposing Inner Voice Dictation: A Demonic Deception Opposed to Christianity

Inner Voice Dictation: A Dangerous Form of Channeling Masquerading as Divine Guidance

Inner voice dictation is one of many deceptive spiritual practices gaining popularity in today’s New Age culture. It is described as the mental reception of words or messages from an unseen source, often transcribed into writing. The practitioner claims to "hear" a voice internally—consciously or subconsciously—and writes down everything it says, believing it to be divine guidance, higher wisdom, or universal truth. This is, in fact, a form of channeling, and despite its seemingly harmless or even inspirational surface, it is spiritually hazardous and diametrically opposed to Christian faith.

What Is Inner Voice Dictation?

Inner voice dictation falls under the umbrella of automatic writing, a New Age practice where individuals transcribe messages from what they believe are benevolent spirit beings, angels, or even God. However, these messages do not originate from the Holy Spirit but from familiar spirits—demonic entities masquerading as enlightened beings.

Practitioners often report feeling a strong compulsion to write, sometimes entering a trance-like state. While some maintain full consciousness, others claim they are overtaken by the spirit or voice dictating to them. These messages are then compiled into books, teachings, or philosophies, often blending truth with subtle lies meant to lead people astray from the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Origin and Notable Figures in Inner Voice Dictation

One of the most well-known examples of inner voice dictation is Helen Schucman, the scribe of A Course in Miracles. Between 1965 and 1972, she claimed to hear a voice that identified itself as Jesus Christ and dictated the content of the book to her. Despite claiming Christian terminology, A Course in Miracles contradicts the Bible and promotes Gnostic and New Age doctrines, denying sin, the cross, and the deity of Jesus Christ.

Schucman was raised in a Jewish secular environment and later became involved in psychological research. Her spirituality was not grounded in biblical truth but in psychological humanism and mystical experiences, which opened the door to deception. The entity speaking through her taught doctrines entirely inconsistent with the Bible.

Other prominent figures who utilized this form of channeling include Jane Roberts, author of the Seth Material, and Neale Donald Walsch, who wrote Conversations with God. Both claimed to receive wisdom from spiritual voices through inner dictation. These voices provided teachings that reject Jesus as the only way to God and instead promote pantheism, reincarnation, and moral relativism.

The Cultural and Spiritual Roots

Inner voice dictation and similar channeling practices are rooted in Eastern mysticism, spiritism, and occult traditions. From ancient Greek oracles to Hindu gurus, the idea of receiving wisdom from the spirit realm has existed for centuries. The gods of these cultures were not the God of the Bible but rather false gods and demons (Deuteronomy 32:17).

In modern times, the New Age movement rebrands these ancient practices in ways that appeal to Western spiritual seekers. Words like “intuition,” “inner guidance,” or “divine download” disguise the dangerous reality of what is truly happening: communication with demonic spirits.

What Does the Bible Say?

Scripture strongly condemns all forms of spiritism, channeling, and consultation with familiar spirits. God warns His people to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11) and to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). Here are key passages:

  • Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (KJV) – “There shall not be found among you... a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord.”

  • Isaiah 8:19 (KJV) – “And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits... should not a people seek unto their God?”

  • 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (KJV) – “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light...”

The Old Testament is unequivocal: seeking supernatural knowledge outside of God is forbidden. The New Testament continues this warning. In Acts 16:16-18, Paul rebukes a girl with a spirit of divination—though she spoke truth, the spirit behind her was not of God.

The Spiritual Consequences for Christians

Engaging in inner voice dictation opens a spiritual gateway for demonic intrusion, torment, and bondage. Even if the practitioner claims to be a Christian, dabbling in such practices grieves the Holy Spirit and violates God’s commands.

Demons may appear as friendly, loving, or even angelic beings at first—but their goal is to deceive, confuse, and ultimately destroy. Many who have practiced inner voice dictation report emotional instability, hearing voices, insomnia, and spiritual oppression. Some become obsessed with the messages or become addicted to new “revelations” that replace or undermine the Word of God.

Why Christians Must Avoid This Practice

Christians are called to walk by the Holy Spirit and live according to the Word of God—not be led by inner voices that contradict Scripture. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice” (John 10:27), but His voice never contradicts His Word. Anything that bypasses biblical discernment and invites another spirit into one’s life is spiritually reckless.

Inner voice dictation teaches people to trust spirit guides, not the Holy Spirit. It substitutes private revelation for the objective truth of Scripture. No matter how soothing or profound the message may seem, if it does not align with the Bible, it is false and dangerous.

Conclusion

Inner voice dictation is not harmless journaling or divine insight. It is a form of channeling, a spiritual counterfeit rooted in the occult and condemned by God. Christians must recognize it for what it is: a deceptive gateway to demonic influence.

Let us cling to the Word of God and not seek supernatural guidance apart from Him. The Holy Spirit is our true Counselor—not a mysterious inner voice that contradicts the gospel. Stay vigilant, test every spirit, and reject every practice that opens doors to the enemy.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8

The Hidden Danger of Consulting Familiar Spirits

The Hidden Danger of Consulting Familiar Spirits: A Christian Warning

The Hidden Danger of Consulting Familiar Spirits: A Christian Warning

Consulting Familiar Spirits: A Deceptive Path That Leads to Destruction

The term consulting familiar spirits may sound archaic, but the practice is alive and well under modern names like "channeling," "spirit guides," "psychic readings," and even “mediumship.” What many believe to be communication with a departed loved one or an angelic being is, in truth, direct contact with demonic spirits, cleverly disguised as helpful or benign.

What Is a Consultant of Familiar Spirits?

A consultant of familiar spirits engages in ongoing communication or relationship with spiritual entities that present themselves as known figures, such as dead relatives, guardian angels, or cosmic guides. These spirits often provide information, advice, or “healing,” drawing people deeper into dependence on them. However, biblically, these are unclean spirits, also called demons.

Leviticus 19:31 states: “Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”

How Does It Work?

This practice typically involves rituals, meditations, or altered states of consciousness in which the person becomes receptive to spiritual voices. These spirits often use flattery, false comfort, or esoteric knowledge to draw the individual in. Over time, what began as "comfort" becomes spiritual bondage. Familiar spirits aim to gain access and influence, eventually controlling a person's thoughts, emotions, and decisions.

What’s so deceptive is that these spirits often masquerade as light (2 Corinthians 11:14), claiming to be angels or high-vibrational beings. In truth, they are demonic forces sent to distract and destroy.

Where Did It Come From? Who Is the Founder?

The practice of consulting familiar spirits traces back to ancient pagan cultures—Babylon, Egypt, Canaan, and Greece—where priests and oracles acted as mediums between the physical and spiritual worlds. While no single founder exists, the modern revival of these practices can be largely attributed to the Spiritualist Movement of the 19th century.

A key figure in this movement was Emanuel Swedenborg (1688–1772), a Swedish philosopher who claimed to have contact with angels and spirits. Later, Helena Blavatsky, founder of Theosophy, promoted communication with spiritual beings to gain divine wisdom. These teachings greatly influenced the New Age movement and continue to shape practices today.

Religious Beliefs Behind It

Most consultants of familiar spirits subscribe to New Age spirituality, which blends Eastern mysticism, Gnosticism, and occult principles. It teaches that spiritual enlightenment comes through personal experience with the "spirit realm"—often bypassing God altogether. It denies biblical truth, the personhood of Jesus Christ, and the reality of sin and salvation.

Instead of relying on the Holy Spirit, individuals are taught to trust unseen voices—opening themselves to deception and spiritual oppression.

Why Christians Should Avoid It

For believers, the spiritual world is not a playground. Consulting spirits is not just forbidden—it’s dangerous. Any guidance not from the Holy Spirit is a counterfeit, and Satan is a master imitator. Engaging with familiar spirits can lead to confusion, fear, mental torment, emotional instability, and even physical affliction.

Many who leave New Age or occult practices report:

  • Nightmares and sleep paralysis

  • Depression and anxiety

  • A feeling of being watched or followed

  • Difficulty reading the Bible or praying

  • A sense of spiritual heaviness or oppression

These are not just psychological side effects—they’re spiritual consequences of opening doors to demonic influence.

It Pulls You Away From Christ

The most devastating effect is spiritual. These spirits will subtly draw your heart away from Jesus. They often affirm all paths to God or downplay the need for repentance. They deny the lordship of Christ and the truth of Scripture.

This deception can seem enlightening initially, but its end is spiritual death (Proverbs 14:12). Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:24 that even the elect could be deceived if they’re not vigilant.

There Is Hope and Freedom in Christ

You can be free if you’ve consulted spirits, knowingly or unknowingly. Jesus Christ has authority over every power of darkness. Repent, renounce the spirits, and invite the Holy Spirit to dwell in their place. Deliverance and restoration are available to all who turn back to the Lord.

Methods of discernment:

• Who was the founder of this modality?

• What was his/her spirituality?

• What culture did it come out of?

• What were their beliefs?

• Who is their God or gods?

Many occult practices in Christianity need to be discerned.  Another method of discernment is the Word of God. The word of God is our measuring stick. The more we read the word, know the word, and have a relationship with the Lord, the more we discern right and wrong. We perish from a lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4:6 declares, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.”

The Consequences of Channeling or Going to a Channeler

The Consequences of Channeling: Why Christians Must Avoid New Age Spirit Possession

channeling consequences, dangers of channeling, New Age spirit possession, Christian view on channeling, demonic infestation symptoms

What is Channeling?

Channeling is a New Age practice where a person willingly allows a spiritual entity to possess them. This entity may speak through the person’s vocal cords or use their body to perform psychic diagnoses and healing. While it’s often masked as spiritual enlightenment or alternative medicine, channeling is, in reality, a doorway to spiritual darkness. The consequences are real—not just for those who perform channeling, but also those who seek it.

Who Founded Channeling?

Modern channeling was popularized by Helena Blavatsky, co-founder of the Theosophical Society in 1875. She claimed to receive teachings from “ascended masters” and hidden spiritual beings. Her movement merged Eastern mysticism, occult beliefs, and spiritualism—laying the foundation for New Age channeling. Blavatsky’s spirituality rejected the God of the Bible and promoted reincarnation, karma, and esoteric knowledge. Where does Helena get her information? From demonic spirits.

What Culture Did Channeling Come From?

Channeling has ancient roots in paganism, spiritualism, and Eastern mysticism. Ancient shamans, oracles, and witch doctors also allowed spirits to possess them in exchange for power, knowledge, or healing. The practice gained popularity in the West during the 19th-century spiritualist movement, encouraging communication with the dead and unseen spirits.

New Age channeling combines these beliefs with modern self-help and metaphysical language. It often references energy healing, chakras, universal consciousness, and “higher self” wisdom.

Who Are Their Gods or Spirits?

Those who channel do not serve the one true God of the Bible. Instead, they call upon:

  • Spirit Guides

  • Ascended Masters

  • Extraterrestrial Beings

  • Deceased Souls

  • Universal Consciousness

These entities are not of God. The Bible teaches that such beings are demonic in nature, appearing as “angels of light” to deceive (2 Corinthians 11:14). No true angel of God would ever possess a human or speak outside God’s Word.

Is Channeling Divination or Energy?

Channeling is a form of divination and spiritism forbidden in Scripture. While it may be described as “energy healing,” its foundation lies in calling upon spiritual powers outside of God’s authority.

“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them.” – Leviticus 19:31

“Let no one be found among you who... consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.” – Deuteronomy 18:10-12

Consequences for Those Who Channel

People who serve as channels often suffer demonic infestation. They open themselves to unclean spirits by allowing spiritual possession. The consequences may include:

  • Emotional torment and deep anxiety

  • Hearing voices or whispering

  • Nightmares and disturbing dreams

  • Seeing shadowy figures or glowing orbs

  • Mental confusion, fear, anxiety

  • Suicidal thoughts or compulsive behaviors

These are not symptoms of enlightenment—they are signs of demonic bondage. The person becomes a puppet for evil spirits masquerading as healers or helpers.

Consequences for Those Who Visit Channelers

People who seek advice, healing, or guidance from channelers are not innocent participants. By engaging with occult practitioners, they come into agreement with demonic forces. Even if the session feels “peaceful,” the spiritual consequences are dangerous:

  • Curses can be transferred

  • Oppression and torment can begin

  • Confusion and fear may follow

  • Spiritual dullness and disconnection from God

  • Need for deliverance and inner healing

The Bible clearly warns us not to consult mediums or spirits (Isaiah 8:19). Seeking supernatural help apart from God is idolatry and rebellion.

Can You Christianize Channeling?

No. You cannot take a false religious practice and “baptize” it with Christian language. Some claim they channel the Holy Spirit—but the Holy Spirit does not possess or control people like pagan spirits. He works in order and truth, never apart from Scripture.

“What fellowship can light have with darkness?” – 2 Corinthians 6:14

“If Jesus didn’t do it, don’t do it.” – A biblical rule of discernment

Jesus never summoned spirits, performed psychic readings, or allowed spiritual entities to speak through Him. Christians are called to imitate Christ—not occult healers.

The Way Out: Freedom Through Christ

Anyone who has been involved in channeling—either as a practitioner or seeker—can be set free. True healing and peace come only through repentance, renunciation, and faith in Jesus Christ. Deliverance may be needed to break spiritual strongholds and restore peace.

“Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” – John 8:36

Methods of discernment for all Christians for protection:

• Who was the founder of this modality?

• What was his/her spirituality?

• What culture did it come out of?

• What were their beliefs?

• Who is their God or gods?

Did Jesus use this modality? No.

Many occult practices in Christianity need to be discerned.  Another method of discernment is the Word of God. The word of God is our measuring stick. The more we read the word, know the word, and have a relationship with the Lord, the more we discern right and wrong. We perish from a lack of knowledge.

Does Your Children Have an Imaginary Playmate?

Do Your Children Have Imaginary Playmates?

Do Your Children Have Imaginary Playmates?

Website: https://healingdeliverance.net
Join us for Prayer and Intercession

We think it is innocent when a child has imaginary playmates, but it is not. Children before age 7 are very open and can see things we cannot see. If you have a child that has an imaginary playmate, I want to tell you it is a spirit guide in their life who becomes a companion and a teacher of the child. That parent needs to break the familiar spirit plaguing your child.

What begins in the child's imagination as a technique to offset loneliness evolves into a relationship with a familiar spirit. In some cases, this imaginary friend first appeared during a time of stress or trauma. In some cases, for children who habitually talked to a doll or stuffed animal, the doll or teddy bear suddenly began talking back!

Today's children's TV shows, Fairy Tales, and Walt Disney - Time Warner movies are full of cabalistic practices, such as The Chronicles of Narina: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Time Warner's - Harry Potter Movies - The Lord of the Rings. These movies and books help the children to accept the menacing demons as their friends. They no longer have fear if these devils appear to them in their rooms. They become their imaginary friends. In actuality, they are malignant evil spirits sent to rob, kill, and destroy the children.

As part of the deliverance under the occult, we cast out imaginary playmates that we had as children. We believe them to be evil spirits/spirit guides. To be set free, the boy or girl first had to fall out of agreement with the familiar spirit and command him to go. It is good for all of us to repent if we have ever entertained these evil spirits. And cast them out!
