Taking Every Thought Captive

Taking Every Thought Captive - the biological/spiritual side and how it works together!

We all have heard that it takes 28 days to create a new habit or way of thinking. Why is that? Why does it take time to renew our minds to the Lord's truth about who we are in Christ? Isn't it time to get rid of those controlling toxic thoughts and emotions? The neurology behind holding every thought captive!

Renewing our minds requires a person to meditate on the Word of God with His truth. You might have memories of negative words spoken over you by your parents, peers, or people at work, and you believe the lie. To renew your mind to what God says is true about you is renewing the mind. How do you apply it? Let's say you are asked to do a project, and immediately you hear in your thought, "I might fail, or I'm not good enough, or I'm not smart enough". Does that voice in your head come from the Lord or from the enemy? Why would he do that? He knows you will and knows your history. He knows what your parents or peers said to you in the past and how it made you feel because you believed it. Now, you have a choice to accept the lie in your head or apply the word of God! That is renewing the mind in the circumstances by applying truth. When you do that by using the word of God against the lie, then you are actually creating neurons to grow by making new connections in your brain. That creates a permanent imprint in our brains or mind. When we believe a lie or react to fear, we develop neurons to grow negative or positive.

For example, if you were bit by a dog as a child, then every time you see a dog coming at you, you will immediately react in fear. You have a pathway to fear imprinted in your mind about dogs!

Well, what is happening is there is a term in neuroscience called Neuroplasticity, so neuron stands for your Neurons, and Plasticity stands for the growth and connection of those neurons. As we learn something, we integrate it into our being, increase our neuroplasticity, and create more connections. The more we do that, the stronger it gets. Like the example, the more we give into that fear, the more potent it becomes, and more pathways of fear are created. Every time a different fear issue occurs, another pathway connection is created to fear. We have these theta brain waves where a spirit of fear is constantly firing that pathway repeatedly. So, it continues to grow. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So, we see that fear is a spirit.

That is why deliverance is essential if we have a stronghold to fear. People don't know that a person has to renew their mind. The difference between having deliverance and not having deliverance is as follows:

Then you go through deliverance and are freed from that spirit of fear, but you are still left with all these brain connections. And neurons want to stay alive just like everything else.

So, neuron needs three things to stay alive. It needs oxygen, sugar, and stimulation. Our thoughts is what stimulates the neurons. Now, you have an idea, and you’ve just been delivered, and you are driving down the road, and you think, Oh my god, I’m not going to make it on time, and all these horrible things will happen. Now, you create a change. You say no. I recognize that as fear, and I’m walking in the grace of God, and he will protect me. Now, I begin to grow a new pathway (neuroplasticity) that says I’m safe, god loves me, and god will protect me even through my mistakes. Christ walks with me. You will begin to actually grow these new pathways.

The old pathways - have you ever heard the term use it or lose it? That is a reality. These proteins have a half-life of 14 days, which means in 14 days, if you have 100 proteins, you will only be left with 50 proteins. In another 14 days you will be left with 25. What happens in 28 days is now down to 25 proteins, and those cells are beginning to degenerate. That is where people talk about breaking habits and taking 28 days. That may be why.

Researchers say that 87 percent of the illnesses that plague us today directly result from our thoughts. What we think affects us physically and emotionally.

A lot of times, people try to do this naturally through positive thinking or positive affirmations. I’m a wonderful person, I’m a happy person, etc. You got the people in the back car going – you are not satisfied, you are miserable. So basically every time you fire the happy pathway, you also fire the self-hatred pathway. It works with what we are doing here because I’m eliminating the backseat of people through deliverance. Now, I can apply what is in reality to renew my mind. I’m renewing my mind in God’s word. As I renew my mind in the truth, these old thoughts are degenerating and dying and going away.

Here is the kicker. There is another neurology term called trans neurodegeneration. What that means is that the neurons want to stay alive but, in essence, are dying. So, as it gets weaker and weaker, it begins to fire on its own. It just starts to go haywire. Now, all of a sudden, you are doing good in your walk and doing well. These things are beginning to lose their power and effect, and suddenly, they go bang, bang, bank gang, bang. You are sitting there right up against the wall. That is where you dig in, push through it, hold every thought captive, and keep God on your mind. If you give in at that point, what do they start doing? They get to grow again. We give them permission to grow again.

Then you open the theta brain wave door again and allow the spirits to enter again. This is the process through the biology of how our brain works when renewing the mind. That is actually what is happening in our brains.

Throughout my life, I developed this fear in the kitchen, in the car, etc, in all these different areas. So, what happens when you are going through your life and dealing with it? Then, guess what happens one day? Boom, fear, because suddenly you are back in a different area. That pathway still needs to be dealt with. That door must still be closed, and those neurons fire up. Suddenly, who knows what happens, you are in a restaurant and you hear an old song and you are eating the steak and you think “Oh man I ate a raw steak once and almost died.” You have not had that experience in a long time. You deal with the fear in that experience at that moment with God’s word. You’ve not heard of that experience in a long time, so fear tries to return, and you have to deal with the fear again. All the areas associated with fear in our walk of life begin to get cut off.

Isn't it time to remove hate, anxiety, anger, hostility, resentment, frustration, impatience, and irritation? All these produce toxic attitudes and create a chemical reaction in the body that can alter behavior. Negative emotions also release a toxic chemical, affecting every cell in your body. If they persist long enough, they can even affect the cell's nucleus and cause it to mutate, causing cancer to be produced in your body.

For example, A spirit of fear is the root of stress. Scriptures say, "God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and of a sound mind" (2 Tim. 1:7). Fear-based thinking blocks the flow of healthy chemicals and releases toxic chemicals that put you into stress. Isn't it time to stop the stress? A spirit of fear can be worrying about anything that consumes your mind. Isn't it time to get free from a spirit of fear and change the chemicals in your brain to have good health and good thoughts?

Does Your Children Have an Imaginary Playmate?

Does Your Children Have Imaginary Playmates

Website: https://healingdeliverance.net
Join us for Prayer and Intercession

We think it is innocent when a child has imaginary playmates, but it is not. Children before age 7 are very open and can see things we cannot see. If you have a child that has an imaginary playmate, I want to tell you it is a spirit guide in their life who becomes a companion and a teacher of the child. That parent needs to break the familiar spirit plaguing your child.

What begins in the child's imagination as a technique to offset loneliness evolves into a relationship with a familiar spirit. In some cases, this imaginary friend first appeared during a time of stress or trauma. In some cases, for children who habitually talked to a doll or stuffed animal, the doll or teddy bear suddenly began talking back!

Today's children's TV shows, Fairy Tales, and Walt Disney - Time Warner movies are full of cabalistic practices, such as The Chronicles of Narina: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Time Warner's - Harry Potter Movies - The Lord of the Rings. These movies and books help the children to accept the menacing demons as their friends. They no longer have fear if these devils appear to them in their rooms. They become their imaginary friends. In actuality, they are malignant evil spirits sent to rob, kill, and destroy the children.

As part of the deliverance under the occult, we cast out imaginary playmates that we had as children. We believe them to be evil spirits/spirit guides. To be set free, the boy or girl first had to fall out of agreement with the familiar spirit and command him to go. It is good for all of us to repent if we have ever entertained these evil spirits. And cast them out!

Binding and Loosing on Earth

What Means to Binding and Loosing on Earth?

Website: https://www.touchofgod.org
Join us for prayer and intercession

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. --Matthew 16:19; 18:18

“Binding” and “loosing” were standard terms used by the Rabbis in biblical times. When the rabbis “bound” something, they “forbade” it, and when they “loosed” something, they “permitted” it.

The religious leaders were required to “bind” and “loose” activities in the congregation that were not explicitly included in the Law of Moses.

Let's look at Forgiveness and Unforgiveness as binding and losing.

When a person refuses to forgive another, they bind them to themselves. Not only that, heaven is bound, and God cannot move on your behalf. If we decide to forgive a person who has sinned against us without getting any kind of restitution from him, we “lose” (permit) him to live as if the sin had not happened.

Just before Matthew 18:18, verses 15 through 17, it's referring to forgiveness and unforgiveness. 15 "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother."

16 "But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established."

17 "And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican."

Because of stubbornness and hardness of heart, the man or the one who won't forgive is no longer welcome in our congregation; we “bind” (forbid) him to continue his life with no consequences.

In the gospel of John, ” Jesus said, “If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven by God (John 20:23). A leader can't run a congregation without making decisions about “binding” and “losing.”

When a person refuses to forgive another and wants to get even, he is bound to that other person, and God is blocked to turn it around. It takes our right hearts to make it right. When we refuse to forgive, we are bound to that other person, but heaven is bound - the heavens become like brass. Have you ever had a time when you refused to forgive and felt separated from God? His word is evident if we do not forgive, he will not forgive us. We are bound to darkness and not walking in the light.

The enemy has the right to torment you according to Matthew 18: 34 "And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him."

Right after binding and losing, verses 21 through 35 deal with unforgiveness. Peter asked Jesus in verse 21 how often he should forgive him. Jesus answered and said in verse 23 "but, Until seventy times seven."

None of us deserved to be forgiven of our sins, but only through the blood of Christ was it possible. So, when a person refuses to forgive, that person is going against the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The New Testament clearly teaches that a minister of the Gospel has power over demon spirits. However, in the New Testament, Jesus, Peter, Paul, or any other minister never “bind” or “lose” a demon spirit. Remember, in the culture, binding and losing referred to things, not people or demon spirits.

In Luke 11:20, "it is the finger of God who delivers the demonic. We are only the vessel to remove the demonic in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazarath—he has given us authority only through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We must realize that the only effective authority we have over demons is the authority that God gives us, which we will know by revelation. When dealing with demons, every minister of the Gospel must be cautious in walking by revelation and guidance from God and not stepping over into ministering out of the flesh.

In Conclusion, we do not bind or lose demons or spiritual warfare. It has to do with people. Not only do we forgive others, but we are commanded to forgive ourselves. Jesus said in Matthew 22:36-38 - 36 "Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

In another way of saying it, if you don't forgive others, yourself, or God, you are binding demon spirits to yourself - as stated earlier in Matthew 18, the servant was thrown into a dungeon of torment - that means he was bound up with torment. Only when you forgive do you lose the demonic forces assigned to you?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment."

Do you harbor unforgiveness toward others, yourself, or God? Isn't it time to find peace and let go of tormenting spirits and separation?

Be careful about making vows and oaths for anyone since they are also binding.

In the New Testament, our Lord taught that every commitment and promise was to be as binding as a vow.

Oath – Hebrew shbuw`ah (sheb-oo-aw) oath, sworn, a curse from the word shaba (shaw-bah ) sware, charge, oath.

Vow - Hebrew neder (neh'-der) vow, votive offering from nadar (naw-dar) vow, make a vow.

Matthew 5:33-37 33 "Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.' 34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor shall you swear by your head because you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

From the above verses, we can see that vows lay a trap for us in creating a burden that we, in our weakness and finiteness, cannot keep. Vows and Oaths can bind you to actions in the future, and the future is something over which we have little or no control. Breaking a vow can result in judgment (James) and the destruction of the work of our hands (Ecclesiastes).

James 5:12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and your "No," "No," lest you fall into judgment.

Ecclesiastes 5: 1-7 1 Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. 2 Do not be rash with your mouth, And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you are on earth; therefore, let your words be few. 3 For a dream comes through much activity, And a fool's voice is known by his many words. 4 When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed- 5 Better not to vow than to vow and not pay. 6 Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse[a] and destroy the work of your hands? 7 For there is also vanity in the multitude of dreams and many words. But fear God.

We may make a vow that depends on the actions of another person, and that person may act in such a way to make fulfilling the vow impossible. That is why an oath and vow can be binding to a promise that cannot be kept. It can bring harm, especially if the other person cannot keep the vow or oath, and can ruin relationships. That is why it should only be made to God.

The biblical principle is that promises to God must be fulfilled - even at significant cost and because we are fallen and finite, it is better not to make such promises.

In the Old Testament, the Priest was the only one who could break the vow or oath over a person who could not fulfill it.

In Numbers 30, it states that immature people (or even adult women without the approval of their husbands) could not make independent vows that God would bind. In fact, the As or father had a right to disallow his wife's or children's vows, meaning losing them from the vow or oath. Would not our heavenly Father also disallow vows made by us that are contrary to the expressed wishes of His biblical revelation?

Proverbs 26:2 - As the bird by wondering...

A Curse Causeless Cannot Come - Proverbs 26:2

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

Many times, as I have been in Deliverance Ministry for many years, deliverance ministers and participants believe demonic spirits have a right to them at any time. In fact, they have to have permission before the demonic world can have a right to you.

What Am I Saying Here?

Curses can only havemust an effect on your life when you personally commit a sin contrary to the Word of God. Only sin opens the door for the enemy to demonically bind you. Also, not every curse your ancestors have committed opens the door, but there are familiar spirits who will tempt you with the same sins as your ancestors so that you will open the door for a curse to come upon you. That means there is a bent or stronger temptation to open that door to that curse. The demonic spirits will then try to perpetuate the curse for all remaining generations of descendants.

Some sins of your ancestors do enter the child in the womb at conception. The child enters life with this characteristic, which is demonic - such as self-hatred, unknown fears, bent toward rejection, or shyness. The world would say that the child inherited this characteristic from his ancestors. What was inherited was a demonic spirit passed down through the bloodline.

How to Keep From Getting a Curse!

If you don’t want the evil spirits to have authority in your life, you have to make sure any curses on you have been broken through deliverance and repentance. A curse can't land on you unless it has a cause. Fear and sin are basically the two leading causes that take the blessings out of your life. Sin definitely does that! When God says in the Bible to do something, and you say, “Well, I don’t feel like doing it, I'm not going to do it,” you have left yourself open to sin, which results in getting cursed. God will not let Satan cause us harm unless we leave a legal opening. The devil is a “legal beagle” (a legalistic being), and if you leave a legal opening for him to hit you, he will surely use it. It would be illegal to curse you without a cause. God would smash his head right in, and the day will come for that!

Today's society and the church have come to the point where we have made sin so acceptable or the Word is So Watered down. Another way of putting it is that churches today have cheapened grace to mean no punishment for unrepented sin. We say we are sorry but the church or our society really does not repent. Repentance means to turn away and change our actions. True repentance and confession of sin will allow God to protect us completely.

I thought All Curses Went with Jesus?

I thought when Jesus died he took the curse! Let's look at Revelation 22, the closing chapter of the entire Bible speaks to this very question.

Revelation 22:3

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him: curses are still with us. What Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross was this: He gave every child of God the freedom to get out from under curses when we sin through repentance. You can see from Revelation 22:3, curses still exist and must be dealt with in the practical Christian walk. We are all going from Glory to Glory.

Lets look at Galatians 5:19-21

Galatians 5:19-23 (King James Version)

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

These are habitual sins where a christian chooses to follow their flesh over God's ways. When someone has a problem and continually repenting to God, then God's mercy is with us. He looks at the heart of a person. Unfortunately, our sins do open doors for the enemy to put curses on us, but through the blood through repentance does remove, and God gives us a strength through him to overcome. That is his promise to us.

The New Testament Bible Passages On Depending on God To Live a Victorious, Overcoming Life Promises from God

Mark 14:38
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.

Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Luke 22:40
On reaching the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not fall into temptation."

Luke 22:46
"Why are you sleeping?" he asked them. "Get up and pray so you will not succumb to temptation."

John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11
If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

2 Corinthians 2:14(NKJV)
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ.

Galatians 5:16-17
So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

Ephesians 4:22-24
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 4:26-27
"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.

Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

2 Timothy 4:18
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 2:18
Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

James 1:12-15
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

James 4:7-8
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

James 4:10
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

1 Peter 5:8-10
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

1 John 2:12-15
I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

1 John 3:8
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

1 John 5:3-5
This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Revelation 3:21
To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, if a Christian goes through deliverance and really does not repent for their sins and goes and does the sin again and that can be unforgiveness, they will get worse according to Luke 11:20-26 - the demonic spirits will see if you are truly filled with truth.

Renunciation of Jehovah Witness

How To Pray Effectively For Jehovah's Witnesses To Come to the Truth

Renunciation prayers for breaking the bondage of Jehovah's Witness

The first matter to understand is that the battle is spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood (your relative/friend) but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places." We are not fighting your loved one. They are in spiritual bondage.

We are going to deal with the demonic spirits that blind and deafen them to the truth of the Gospel of God and which prevent them from responding to Him. Make sure there is no unconfessed sin in your life. If so, put it right with God and, if possible, with anyone else involved. Know your authority in Christ to overcome all the power of the evil one. "I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions (demons) and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:19-20). If possible, ask another Christian believer to agree with you in prayer. "...If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven," (Matthew 18:19). What if you are alone, and have no one to agree with you?

Lorri MacGregor (a former cult member who now heads up a Christian ministry to reach people in cults) recommends that you ask Jesus to agree with you. Then pray to God in the name of the Saviour Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit directs you. Bind the principal demonic strongman, "The Spirit of Watchtower Deception," in the name of Jesus Christ. "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven..." (Matthew 18:18).

Other demonic spirits that need to be bound include Antichrist, Unbelief, Error, False Doctrine, Confusion, Legalism, Hardness, Harshness, Guilt, Fear of Watchtower Authorities, Fear of Armageddon, etc. (Ask the Holy Spirit for the names or effects caused by these and other demonic spirits, and how to cut off their influence on your loved one.)

Ask God to release and lose your relative/friend from these demonic spirits and all others that control them. "...Whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (Matthew 18:18). Ask the Lord to release your loved one's emotions, which have been held in fear and bondage for so long. The Holy Spirit will do this gently and lovingly so that people understand who they are and how much Jesus loves them. Ask the Lord to fill your loved one with His precious Holy Spirit. Be assured that God is now at work in their lives to release them from their bondage. Pray for their salvation in faith. If the person is a family member, God's promise to you is to "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31).

If they are not a family member, God provides another promise for you to appropriate in prayer for them. "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise... but is long-suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9), and "God our Saviour... desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth," (1 Timothy, 2:4). God's Word is plain; He doesn't want your relative/friend in the Watchtower Society to perish, to be wiped out at Armageddon, or on Judgment Day. God wants them saved, and we have a commission from Him to do the job in prayer and to find out how to share Jesus with them effectively.

Keep on praying in faith for your loved one. Experience shows that perseverance produces the best results, so keep going if there are no positive signs for a while. Ask the Lord to make His word alive to them, to show them the truth, even from the corrupted New World (mis) Translation.

In the very second Witness, "Bible Lesson," people are taught that the Devil will try to oppose their study of the Bible with them. When family and friends discover what the person is doing with the Witnesses, most people usually know it is wrong, even if they don't know why. If you jump up and down loudly condemning the Watchtower as cultic, the Witnesses will have been proved right, and your family member/friend will be confirming this in their minds. You will be known as an "Opposer" and will have lost your right to speak on matters of religion, etc., to your friend. It is highly likely you will be cut off, as though you were dead, and never permitted to communicate with them again.

Try hard not to make statements such as "Leave the Watchtower alone. They will screw your mind up" (even if it is true). Instead, try asking gentle questions so they think they are teaching you. They are being programmed not to listen to "criticism." For example, the material in this booklet is "Apostate," and because of the increasing mind-control used, your friend will soon know they are not permitted to read it. Trying to make them will only succeed in cutting you off as a friend. If you force them to choose between you and the Watchtower, or even the Bible and the Watchtower, they will almost always choose the Watchtower.

It is essential to prevent people from studying with the Witnesses in the first place because getting people out can take years and much heartache. Seek expert help as early as possible whenever a close friend or family member is interested in the Witnesses. Pray for God's wisdom, which He gives to those who seek Him. I was told by a former Witness they would never have joined the Watchtower if they had been shown this booklet early enough.

Prayer of Renunciation

Suppose you have ever held Bible studies with Witnesses, attended a Kingdom Hall, been baptized by the Watchtower Society, etc. In that case, you will need to repent of these involvements before God, ask His forgiveness, plead guilty without excuse, then "...Confess with your mouth (out loud) that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead," (Romans 10:9). Then ask Jesus to come in and become Lord of your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to come and fill you, removing all traces of the deceptions of the Watchtower, to help you understand the Bible the way God wrote it, and to help you build up your relationship with Jesus every day.

In the name of Jesus Christ, bind the spirits listed above and cut them off from you and your family. If you have difficulty doing this, please contact the ministries listed below or a competent Christian leader near you to assist in your liberation from deception.

Find Bible-believing Christians and spend time with them. Please explain to them you are coming out of deception and need their encouragement and support, at least until you are firmly on your feet. If some disappoint you (probably through not understanding your need), don't be put off, for there are caring Christians around who can and will help.

Letter of Resignation

If you have ever become a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses (Watchtower Bible & Tract Society) or been baptized by them, it is essential that you send a letter of resignation and cut off the spiritual ties that you had brought on yourself and your family. I suggest you mail your letter to the national office of your country and a copy to the world headquarters. You could also send a copy to your local Kingdom Hall elders. They also need to know about the honest Jesus Christ.

Please use your own words in your letter. You may care to mention you have discovered that Jesus is Jehovah God, that you are now sure of your salvation, and that the Watchtower Society and publications had misled you because they contained false prophecies and doctrines. You can no longer accept the polytheism the Watchtower teaches.
