Under Witchcraft or Demonic Attacks?

Under Witchcraft or Demonic Attacks?

Under Witchcraft or Demonic Attacks?

Have you or your family experienced tormenting dreams, confusion, mental fog, recurring sickness, or an invisible heaviness in your home or mind? You may be under spiritual attack—not by accident, but because a door was opened. That door may have been through personal involvement in the occult, New Age practices, or even through your ancestors.

🔥 What Is the Occult and What Does "Occult" Really Mean?

What is the Occult? The word "occult" comes from the Latin occultus, meaning hidden, secret, or concealed. But biblically, we can trace similar meanings in Greek and Hebrew that show how God views such hidden knowledge and forbidden practices.

  • Greek: The word pharmakeia (φαρμακεία) is used in Galatians 5:19–21 to describe witchcraft or sorcery. It refers not only to drug use but to magical arts and spellcasting.

  • Hebrew: The word qesem (קֶסֶם) means divination—a forbidden practice of seeking supernatural knowledge outside of God (Deuteronomy 18:10).

Anything that seeks spiritual power or hidden knowledge apart from the Holy Spirit is considered occultic, even if it appears good or peaceful. The devil often disguises danger as light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

God forbids nine practices in His word.

The occult, as He warns the Israelites to avoid and abhor it. Pronouncing it as towebah God, in His wisdom, lays out the Nine Forbidden Practices. They are:

1) Passing Children Through the Fire (Child Sacrifice / Moloch Worship / Abortion)
🡆 Leviticus 20:2–5 – warns of severe judgment for offering children to Molech

🡆 Jeremiah 32:35 – “They built high places for Baal... to cause their sons and daughters to pass through the fire…”

2) Divination The Heart of the Occult. Manipulation from demonic sources.
🡆 Deuteronomy 18:10

🡆 Ezekiel 13:6–9 – warns of false prophets using divination

🡆 Micah 5:12 – “I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand...”

3) Astrology We either trust God or the Zodiac, but not both!
🡆 Isaiah 47:13–14 – condemns astrologers and star-gazers

🡆 Leviticus 19:26 – “You shall not... practice divination or soothsaying.”

4) Enchantment/Encantations Someone satanically endowed to produce seductive spells.
🡆 Isaiah 47:9–12 – speaks of enchantments and sorceries

🡆 Psalm 58:5 – mentions the enchanter enchanting skillfully

5) Witchcraft and Witches Include its modern, organized counterpart, Wicca.

🡆 Exodus 22:18 (KJV): “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.”
🡆 Deuteronomy 18:10: “There shall not be found among you… anyone who

practices witchcraft...”

🡆 Micah 5:12: “I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers.”
  🡆 Sorcery - Galatians 5:20 – “...idolatry, sorcery (pharmakeia)...”
🡆 Revelation 21:8 – sorcerers listed among the damned

6) Charmer One manipulates objects or beings via demonic power.

🡆 Deuteronomy 18:11: “Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits…”

🡆 Psalm 58:5: “Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.”(This refers to snake charmers, but figuratively shows manipulation by magical means.)

🡆 Isaiah 19:3: “...they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits...”

7) Consulter with Familiar Spirits One who gleans knowledge from demonic contact.
🡆 Leviticus 19:31 – “Do not turn to mediums... I am the Lord.”
🡆1 Samuel 28:7–20 – Saul consults the medium of Endor, which leads to his downfall

8) Wizards Practitioners of magical arts
🡆 Leviticus 20:6 – God sets His face against anyone who seeks spiritists

🡆 Isaiah 8:19 – “Should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?”

9) Necromancers Those who claim to be in contact with the dead.
🡆 Deuteronomy 18:11 – forbids communication with the dead
🡆 2 Kings 23:24 – Josiah removes those who work with spirits and the dead

🚫 God Strongly Forbids All Occult Practices or New Age Modalities for Healing

“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells…”– Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NKJV)

This includes:

  • Horoscopes and astrology

  • Yoga and Eastern meditation

  • Crystals and energy healing

  • Reiki and chakra alignment

  • Communicating with the dead (necromancy)

  • Ouija boards, tarot cards, and spirit guides

  • Burning sage or using pendulums

  • Channeling, astral projection, or dreamcatchers

  • and many more. See checklist.

Many people, even believers, do these things unknowingly, believing they are “harmless.” But in reality, they open legal doors for demonic spirits to enter.

🧬 Generational Doors You Didn’t Open

Even if you didn’t participate in the occult, your ancestors may have. The Bible tells us that sins can be passed down:

“...visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation...”— Exodus 20:5 (NKJV)

If your parents or grandparents were involved in Freemasonry, witchcraft, divination, New Age religion, or false religions, you may be inheriting demonic consequences like:

  • Mental torment

  • Poverty and failure cycles

  • Sexual perversion

  • Addictions

  • Fear and anxiety

  • Unexplained illness

😨 Do You Have These Symptoms of Occult Oppression?

If you’ve ever dabbled in these practices, or if you notice the following signs, you may need deliverance:

  • Nightmares, sleep paralysis, or seeing shadowy figures

  • Chronic anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts

  • Unexplained sickness that doctors can’t treat

  • Spiritual confusion or blocked prayer life

  • Constant fatigue or heaviness without reason

  • Financial loss, job trouble, or repeated relational failure

  • Feeling a “presence” in your home or on your body

  • Voices in your mind, paranoia, or sudden fear

These are symptoms of demonic torment. They will not go away with medicine or positive thinking. They must be broken spiritually.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”— Hosea 4:6 (NKJV)

Inherited Demonic Covenants: Why Your Freedom Requires Renouncing the Past

Inherited Demonic Covenants: Why Your Freedom Requires Renouncing the Past

Inherited Demonic Covenants: Why Your Freedom Requires Renouncing the Past

✝️ Inherited Powers Must Be Broken to Walk in Deliverance

Many Christians struggle with persistent issues—fear, addiction, lust, sickness, or depression—without realizing these patterns are not just personal weaknesses but spiritual chains tied to ancestral covenants. The Bible makes clear that deliverance is often required because of what your forefathers worshipped and the covenants they made with demonic powers.

Exodus 20:5 warns:

“For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations...”

These inherited curses or "legal rights" of demons must be broken by you, through prayer, fasting, and spiritual authority in the blood of Jesus.

🩸 God Honors Covenants—Even Evil Ones Until They're Broken

God is a covenant-keeping God (Deuteronomy 7:9), and that includes respecting ungodly covenants made by your ancestors. He will not override human free will—even if those agreements were made by generations past.

You must renounce those covenants, break every soul tie, and revoke every legal right the enemy has gained.

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty...? But thus says the LORD... I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.”
—Isaiah 49:24–25

Jesus has already made the way through the cross. But you must enforce that victory.

👁️‍🗨️ Demonic Manifestation: When Evil Spirits Are Still Present

Here are signs that a demon might be active—not just your flesh:

  • Recurring nightmares or spiritual visitations

  • Unexplainable fear, anger, or depression

  • Hearing voices, thoughts of suicide, or compulsive behavior

  • Repeating sins despite prayer and effort

  • Breakdowns in marriage, finances, or health with no logical cause

  • Unnatural spiritual resistance to Bible reading or prayer

These signs often point to a demonic presence with legal rights due to:

  • Personal unrepented sin

  • Trauma (abuse, molestation, accidents)

  • Ancestral worship or occult practices

  • Soul ties through sex, blood covenants, or ritual participation

🧬 Trauma Can Open Doors to Demons

If you've endured emotional, sexual, or physical trauma, the shock and pain can act as spiritual gateways. These give demons permission to enter—not because of what you did, but what was done to you.

Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18), but inner healing and deliverance go hand-in-hand.

“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man… he returns… and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” —Matthew 12:43-45

Deliverance is not a one-time prayer—it’s a process of renouncing, confessing, forgiving, and closing every door.

⚔️ How to Break the Demonic Legal Rights

  1. Confess sins (yours and ancestors') – Leviticus 26:40

  2. Renounce all covenants and soul ties – 2 Corinthians 6:14-17

  3. Forgive those who harmed you – Matthew 6:14

  4. Revoke legal rights out loud in prayer

  5. Plead the Blood of Jesus over your life – Revelation 12:11

  6. Command spirits to leave in Jesus' name – Mark 16:17

  7. Seal doors with praise, Word, fasting, and obedience

📖 Biblical Examples of Deliverance as Healing

Every miracle of Jesus was a form of deliverance, especially those involving healing:

  • The boy with seizures (epilepsy) – Mark 9:17-29

  • The woman bowed for 18 years – Luke 13:11 (spirit of infirmity)

  • The man in the tombs – Mark 5:1-15 (legion of demons)

Deliverance is not just casting out devils—it’s restoring you to wholeness.

🤔 Do You Need Deliverance? Ask Yourself…

  • Do you keep falling into the same sin no matter how hard you try?

  • Are you frustrated with lack of breakthrough despite prayer and fasting?

  • Do others in your family suffer the same problems (mental illness, divorce, addiction)?

  • Do you feel an invisible barrier blocking your spiritual growth?

If yes, deliverance ministry could be the key.

🙌 There Is Freedom in Christ—But You Must Fight

Deliverance is not about fear—it’s about freedom. Jesus said:

“If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.” —John 8:36

But that freedom comes when we cooperate with the Holy Spirit to identify strongholds, cancel curses, and cast out what does not belong.

Breaking Demonic Defaults: Resetting Your Life Through Christ

Breaking Demonic Defaults: Resetting Your Life Through Christ

Breaking Demonic Defaults: Resetting Your Life Through Christ

Have you ever wondered why specific destructive patterns keep showing up in your life, despite your best efforts to change? These patterns may be the result of what we can call demonic defaults—spiritual strongholds set in place during our formative years.

In the world of technology, a “default” is a pre-set condition programmed to automatically function unless changed. For example, a computer comes with a factory-set font. Even if you manually select a different one, once the task ends, it reverts to the default. Likewise, our minds and hearts can have defaults—set not by a machine, but by childhood training and experiences.

The Bible teaches in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” This verse reveals a powerful truth: childhood training creates lifelong patterns, whether godly or ungodly.

When children are raised in an environment devoid of God’s truth, they are programmed with spiritual defaults that lean toward iniquity, rebellion, fear, bitterness, or self-reliance. These “demonic defaults” are often the result of broken parenting, generational sin, and inner vows we make in pain—promises like, “I’ll never trust anyone,” or “I’ll always fend for myself.”

As adults, many find themselves stuck in cycles of defeat. They try to move forward but feel constantly pulled back into familiar struggles—just like a document reverting to a default font after it's closed. These patterns are not just psychological—they are deeply spiritual.

Why does this happen? When we dishonor our parents through judgment, hold onto unforgiveness, or internalize bitterness, we activate the law of sowing and reaping. Bitter roots bear bitter fruit. The hurts of childhood become expectations in adulthood, often drawing similar pain into our lives.

But here’s the good news: Jesus came to break every demonic cycle and reset your default.

When we come to Christ, He doesn’t just forgive us—He transforms us. God begins a process of retraining and re-disciplining us as His beloved children. He uses relationships and situations to reveal the broken programming in our lives. These are divine opportunities for healing.

How do we break these demonic defaults?

  1. Forgive your parents for their failures, even if they never apologized.

  2. Repent of dishonoring them through bitterness, judgment, or rebellion.

  3. Break inner vows and false promises you made to protect yourself.

  4. Sever ungodly soul ties that bind you to generational patterns.

  5. Release bitterness and resentment, replacing them with God’s truth.

  6. Submit to God’s discipline, allowing Him to correct and heal you.

As you walk through this process with humility and faith, the Holy Spirit resets your spiritual default. Where there was rejection, He sets acceptance. Where there was fear, He places peace. Where there was bitterness, He plants love.

The result? A transformed life that bears sweet, righteous fruit instead of bitter pain. You’re no longer a slave to your past—you’re walking in your God-ordained destiny.

Glory to God

Breaking Demonic Bloodline Covenants Through the Power of the Cross

Breaking Demonic Bloodline Covenants Through the Power of the Cross

Breaking Demonic Bloodline Covenants Through the Power of the Cross

Many people today struggle with patterns of sin, sickness, fear, depression, and chaos, unaware that these may be rooted in the iniquities of their forefathers. According to Scripture, the sins of our ancestors can have spiritual consequences that affect future generations. Exodus 20:5 warns that the iniquities of the fathers can visit the third and fourth generations of those who hate God. This is not merely symbolic—it is spiritual law.

When our forefathers broke God’s commandments and turned to idols, witchcraft, or divination, they often entered into demonic covenants with Satan, knowingly or unknowingly. These covenants are not simple agreements that fade over time—they are spiritual contracts that endure unless they are intentionally broken through the only means available: the blood of Jesus Christ.

Understanding Demonic Covenants

Covenants are sacred agreements in the spiritual realm. God Himself introduced the concept of covenants to mankind—He is a covenant-keeping God (Deuteronomy 7:9). His promises are eternal, offering us hope and security in salvation through Jesus. However, Satan, the deceiver, counterfeits God’s design. When people worship false gods, partake in occult practices, or seek power through unclean spiritual sources, they unwittingly bind themselves to Satan through spiritual covenants.

These demonic covenants grant Satan legal access to operate in an individual’s life and bloodline. Until they are renounced and broken, they remain active and perpetuate cycles of pain, torment, and destruction.

Manifestations of Demonic Covenants

When the First and Second Commandments are broken—"You shall have no other gods before Me" and "You shall not make for yourself a carved image" (Exodus 20:3-4)—the root of idolatry takes hold. The fruit is evident in the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28: poverty, sickness, confusion, mental torment, broken families, and defeat.

These manifestations may include:

  • Chronic illness with no medical explanation

  • Mental health struggles like fear, anxiety, and depression

  • Addictions and compulsive behavior

  • Cycles of failure or financial collapse

  • Relational breakdowns

  • Repeated sin patterns, even with strong willpower

How to Break Free from Demonic Covenants

The good news is that the Blood of Jesus Christ is the only power that can break these spiritual covenants. His sacrifice on the cross is not just a religious event—it is a legal transaction in the spiritual realm that cancels every handwriting of ordinance against us (Colossians 2:14).

Here’s how to be set free:

1. Confess and Repent of Sins

Start by confessing the sins of your ancestors and your own sins. Acknowledge before God that your bloodline broke His commandments, worshipped other gods, or engaged in occult practices. This includes any form of witchcraft, sorcery, divination, tarot cards, astrology, or idol worship.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

2. Renounce All Occult Involvement

Go through a list of occult practices and verbally renounce them in the name of Jesus. This includes:

  • Witchcraft and spells

  • Ouija boards and séances

  • Fortune telling and psychic readings

  • Freemasonry and secret societies

  • Ancestral worship or sacrifices

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11)

3. Cancel Demonic Worship and Idols

Renounce every act of worship at false altars. Command all idols in your life and your family line to fall, and ask God to consume them with His holy fire (see Luke 3:8-9). Break every chain and addiction linked to these idols—whether it’s a substance, person, ritual, or object.

4. Break Unloving Spirits and Addictions

Repent for yielding to unloving spirits such as:

  • Self-hatred

  • Self-bitterness

  • Self-rejection

  • Need for attention

  • Death wishes and self-sabotage

Many seek peace through false pathways—alcohol, drugs, sexual sin, or control. These are counterfeits for the love and peace only Christ can offer. Repent for seeking love in idols rather than the Father’s embrace.

5. Destroy Strange Altars and Slavery Yokes

Renounce and spiritually walk away from every strange altar you or your ancestors bowed at. Declare your allegiance to Jesus Christ alone. Then destroy the yoke of slavery with Galatians 5:1:

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

6. Sever Bloodline and Soul Ties

If the inheritance of bondage is strong, cut yourself free from territorial spirits and ancestral rankings passed through DNA. Break all spiritual soul-ties to the mother's and father's bloodlines. Remove any occultic giftings, sicknesses, callings, or demonic plans transferred into your life.

This process includes:

  • Renouncing all demons transferred at conception

  • Cancelling Satan’s past, present, and future plans for your life

  • Removing all false spiritual rankings and curses

  • Breaking judgments from refusing occultic callings

7. Walk in the Freedom of Christ

Once you’ve done these steps in repentance and faith, you may feel vulnerable—like you’ve stripped away layers of identity. But remember: you are not fatherless or abandoned.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18)

God the Father welcomes you into His covenant of love through Jesus. He will begin rebuilding your identity, renewing your mind, and restoring every area of your life.

Conclusion

You are not bound to the failures or sins of your forefathers. Though demonic covenants were made in darkness, the light of Christ shatters them when exposed by repentance and faith. There is no curse, no bloodline tie, no occult involvement that the Blood of Jesus cannot cleanse.

Walk forward in faith and freedom, clothed in righteousness, adopted by the Father, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Break the chains, destroy the idols, and never return to Egypt. You are free—because the Son has set you free.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Curses and Redemption: Understanding the Power of Christ’s Deliverance

Curses and Redemption: Understanding the Power of Christ’s Deliverance

Curses and Redemption: Understanding the Power of Christ’s Deliverance

By Teresa Morin

Galatians 3:13“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, ‘Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.’”

In a world filled with turmoil, suffering, broken relationships, disease, rebellion, and spiritual bondage, many are unknowingly living under curses. Some of these are inherited generationally, while others result from disobedience or involvement in spiritual darkness. But there is hope—and His name is Jesus Christ. Understanding curses, their root, and how we are redeemed through Christ is a vital aspect of spiritual growth and freedom.

What Is a Curse?

A curse is a supernatural force that brings harm or judgment. In Scripture, a curse is often the consequence of sin or rebellion against God. Deuteronomy 28 outlines blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. Curses affect individuals, families, nations, and even the land. When we go against God’s commandments, it opens the door for spiritual consequences—these are the very things Christ came to redeem us from.

Christ Redeemed Us from the Curse

Galatians 3:13 is a foundational verse that declares Jesus Christ's victory over every curse. By hanging on the cross, Jesus bore the full weight of the law’s penalty on Himself. The law was good and holy (Romans 7:12), but humanity, in its fallen state, could not fulfill it. Instead of abolishing the law, Jesus fulfilled it perfectly and took the curse upon Himself.

His death satisfied the justice of God. He became sin (2 Corinthians 5:21), endured the wrath of God, and made a way for humanity to be free from the curse of the law. No more temple sacrifices. No more striving to keep hundreds of ceremonial laws. Through Him, we might have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10)—but it’s conditional. Redemption is available, but we must walk in obedience and faith.

The Curse Will End

Revelation 22:3 gives us a glimpse of the future: “And there shall be no more curse.” This is God’s ultimate plan—for the curse to be entirely broken and removed. But until that day comes, we are in a battle, not just with the flesh, but with spiritual forces of darkness.

Spiritual Warfare: A Present Reality

Ephesians 6:12 reminds us: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers...” We are in a spiritual war. Curses often manifest because demonic spirits have been given legal rights through sin, idolatry, bitterness, or involvement in the occult. They operate under spiritual law and exploit areas of disobedience.

Many people do not realize that unforgiveness, pride, rebellion, or sexual immorality can open doors to these curses. These spiritual consequences are not broken simply by good behavior—they are broken by repentance, submission to God, and resisting the devil (James 4:7).

The Heart of the Matter: James 4:1–10

James 4 exposes the true cause of strife and bondage: our lusts and pride. “Ye ask and receive not, because ye ask amiss...” Many believers want freedom, healing, and peace, but they do not surrender fully to God. The Bible makes it clear: “Friendship with the world is enmity with God.”

If we are dabbling in worldly ways, embracing sin, or justifying compromise, we remain in bondage. The curse cannot be broken while we’re still in agreement with darkness. James calls us to humble ourselves, cleanse our hands, and purify our hearts. This is the pathway to lifting the curse and walking in the blessing.

Jesus Christ: The Unchanging Lawgiver

Jesus declared that He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17). Hebrews 13:8 affirms: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Paul, in 1 Corinthians 10:4, confirms that Jesus was the spiritual Rock in the wilderness with Moses—He was the God of the Old Testament.

The same God who gave commandments at Sinai is the One who walked among us in the flesh. He has not changed His nature, His commandments, or His standards. What has changed is our access. Through His blood, we no longer need animal sacrifices, but the call to holiness remains.

The Law and the Curse

The law defines sin. It was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ (Galatians 3:24). When we understand the law, we know the seriousness of sin. The curse is not the law itself—the curse is the consequence of breaking it. Jesus didn’t abolish the moral law. Instead, He made a way for us to be forgiven, cleansed, and empowered to obey through the Holy Spirit.

When we disobey God’s laws—whether they are about idolatry, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or rebellion—we open ourselves to curses. But when we come to Jesus in repentance and truth, He breaks those curses. His blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).

Walking in Victory Over Curses

To walk in victory, we must:

  1. Repent of known sin – Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart.

  2. Forgive others – Bitterness gives Satan legal access.

  3. Renounce any occult involvement – Including New Age, witchcraft, or ancestral practices.

  4. Break agreements with darkness – Through prayer and declaration in Jesus’ name.

  5. Submit to God – Full obedience invites blessing and protection.

  6. Resist the devil – He has no power over a surrendered believer.

Conclusion: The Curse Is Not Final

Yes, curses are real. They operate through spiritual law and are often hidden in our lives until the Holy Spirit reveals them. But the good news is that Jesus became a curse for us. He broke the power of sin and death. He made a way where there was no way. Revelation promises a day when every curse will be gone forever, but even now, we can walk in freedom if we choose submission and obedience.

Let us not be casual with sin, ignorant of spiritual warfare, or careless with God’s commandments. Jesus loves us enough to free us from every curse, but we must love Him enough to obey His Word—Old and New Testament alike.
