Can a Christian Become Ensnared and Tormented by a Demon?
Deliverance Ministry Article
Derek Prince, in his pamphlet, Expelling Demons, explains why Christians are subjected to demonic attacks in the scriptures. One area is afflictions. Sickness is described as an oppression of the Devil in Acts 10:38 and Jesus often healed by removing spirits of infirmity, which is another method of Satanic attack (Luke 4:40-41).

Dr. V. Raymond Edman, once president of Wheaten College, wrote the answer to the question if a Christian could have a demon. The unguarded Christian could have a demonic spirit attacking the soul, which affects mental processes and emotions, or in the body, as was the case of the woman who had a "spirit of infirmity for 18 years (Luke 13:11).
In Gal 3:1, Paul inquired about who had bewitched the beliefs to draw them away from the truth. Sounds like today with Palestinians and Israel. So much deception and lies.

I've ministered to many Christians, and the areas I see most often are bitterness, self-bitterness, occult practices that open the door to torment, and demonic spirits attacking men and women because they didn't keep themselves clean and fell into sexual sin through online pornography. These sexual activities entrapped them into a stronghold. Another big area is prescription and street drugs that they fall into bondage and seem to not be able to get out without deliverance and teaching in how to appropriate the cross in their lives.
