No Curse Without a Cause + Children's book

No Curse Without a Cause

1. Biblical Curses from personal sin.

Deu 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:... Read the rest of Deut., which lists the evidence of curses.

2.  Witchcraft curses Curses placed on us by witches, any kind of witchcraft. A lot of people are involved in witchcraft.

3.  Curses by people who are not witches: This can be your parents who speak negatively about you while you are growing up.  Children are sensitive and believe everything a parent says.  This can also be teachers, etc.  This can be in the form of prayer, which the church calls witchcraft prayers when Christians manipulate God for their desire and need.  For example, you love this man and pray to God to bring him to you.

4.  Self-imposed curses: What you say about yourself may become a curse. If you say something negative about yourself, you give the devil permission to send you a demon.

Tonight I'm going to talk about Self-Imposed Curses - Sin can bring a curse. The sin that is deliberate and you know is wrong, and you keep doing it. The Lord's grace is sufficient but sometimes allows the enemy to get us to turn around.

Sin is serious

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Proverbs 26:2 "A curse without cause shall not alight.

A curse in our lives does not just land on us without reason.  Behind every curse that comes upon us, there is a cause - If you feel you have a curse operating in your life, Deut. 28 is a good place to check for entry by you or your family bloodline to determine its cause.

The leading cause of a curse is disobedience, which takes many forms.  It means not obeying God, God's Word, or God's voice speaking to you.  In 1 Samuel 15:23 "for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft."  Witchcraft is an expression of man's rebellion against God.

Another good place to check for curses is the ten commandments. If you can identify the open door for a curse being active in your life, then take the time to confess your sins or the signs of your forefathers.  It just needed to be put under the blood.

Some curses come down through our generations. They are weaknesses that have to be activated when we give into those weaknesses. A curse only comes on us if the door is opened. There are exceptions, for example, a young child getting molested or rapped. Now, part of it is from the fallen world. But, when a child has been molested within the family, you most likely can see in the generations other occurrences.

President Kennedy's father did break the law - alcohol when it was illegal. The curse on the children was death to many men in the family.

If you see a long line of families not receiving Christ, you will see it is tough for them to get saved, especially if there is paganism. YOu will often see one get saved to change the direction of the family.

The following is a list of how curses come into being:

False Gods - There is no other God besides Me,... Is. 45:21.  Some of you serve the Lord but have other masters.  Matthew 6:24 says, "N man can serve two masters: either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.  Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

That means to hate here is an idiom.  If men prefer sin and Satan to God, they are of the devil (1 John 3:8) and will be sent to hell with him (Matthew 25:41).

How do you know:  Do you have something you hold above to give you importance?  Car, House, Job, Things, Money, Country Club, etc.  What have you made more important than God!

Having false gods links a person to satanic forces outside himself.

Are you saved but cannot enjoy the true liberty and fullness of the new creation in Christ? Do you feel that as you move forward, something invisible knocks you back two steps when you move three steps forward? You might have a curse.

2.  Occult practices/New Age Medicine

The occult is derived from a Latin Word meaning "hidden" or "covered over."  Men fall into occult practices of the desire for power.

Every form of supernatural knowledge or power that does not proceed from God proceeds from Satan.

3.  Physical and Spiritual Adultery.

Proverbs 5:3-6 refers to an immoral woman as a woman who allures and is fascinating in her approach and ruins the one she approaches.  There is a spirit of witchcraft from the root of occultism with a driving force to control people and circumstances.

In Gal. 5:20 lists idolatry among the works of the flesh, which erodes a person's faith and love for God.

4.  Divination is the knowledge branch of the occult in which it presents itself in many forms, but the result is the same - knowledge of the future.

5.  Sorcery operates through materials and objects impacting physical senses, such as drugs and music.  In 2 Tim. 3:16, Paul warns that at the close of this age, evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

6.  Disrespect for parents - Eph. 6:1-3
7.  All forms of oppression and injustice or blocking someone from furthering the kingdom of God, racial prejudice and injustice through an innocent child through abortions
8.  All illicit or unnatural sex (with animals, homosexuality, family members outside of marriage).
9.  anti-Semitism.  God blessed Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  I will curse him who curses you (meaning to speak evil of) Gen. 27:29
10. Legalism
11. Withholding 10 percent to God
12.  Speaking against authority or God's anointed (father, mother, husband, wife, teacher, priest, minister, or pastor)
13. Pledges or oaths that bind people to ungodly associations example, fraternities, freemasonry, and other clubs
14. Soulish talk or accusation against others
15. Soulish prayers
16. Moving property boundaries -
17.  Unforgiveness
18.  Stealing and lying
19.  Murder and more

Repentance is making it right with God so that the Lord Jesus can wash us and make us new like it never happened. It also helps close the door from the enemy when we take care of our sins. God knew a man could not be perfect. Look at the lives of Israel, who had the law but could not live by the law. We all have the law of sin in our members because of Adam and Eve's sin. Romans 7:23 "But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members."

Because of Adam and Eve's sin, Jesus had to die to save our lives so we could have eternal life when we received him. Plus, the Lord desires reestablish us back to Him. The veil of separation was ripped in the temple.
