The History of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – A Christian Warning

๐Ÿšซ The History of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – A Christian Warning

๐Ÿšซ The History of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy – A Christian Warning

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are widely promoted today as harmless tools for relaxation, stress relief, and even trauma healing. But behind the soothing voice and swinging pendulum lies a dangerous spiritual trap. The roots of hypnosis are deeply embedded in ancient paganism, trance channeling, and occult rituals—forms of spiritual activity that Scripture clearly warns against. Christians must not be deceived by what seems helpful but is in fact a spiritual counterfeit.

๐ŸŒ Ancient Pagan Roots of Hypnosis

The use of hypnosis predates modern psychology by thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians practiced "dream healing" in sleep temples, where priest-healers induced trance-like states for divine communication—essentially early forms of channeling. Similarly, Greek temples dedicated to Asclepius used hypnotic suggestion to produce altered states of consciousness believed to bring divine healing.

Tribes across Africa and the Americas also used trance induction techniques—such as rhythmic drumming, dancing, and chanting—to enter altered states and communicate with the spirit realm. These practices were designed to bypass normal mental resistance, allowing spirits to “speak” or control the body. Today’s clinical hypnotherapy merely sanitizes and rebrands these same ancient techniques under the guise of science.

“Let no one be found among you who...practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft... or who is a medium or spiritist.”
—Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NIV)

๐Ÿง  Modern Rise of Hypnotherapy

Modern hypnosis emerged during the Enlightenment when Franz Mesmer (from whose name we get "mesmerize") introduced animal magnetism. He believed an invisible life force could be manipulated to heal the body—again rooted in occultic thinking. Though Mesmer was discredited, his methods lived on, influencing later hypnotists like James Braid and Sigmund Freud.

By the 20th century, hypnosis evolved into hypnotherapy—used for weight loss, anxiety, smoking cessation, and even recovering lost memories. However, many "recovered memories" under hypnosis have proven false or planted by the practitioner—leading to emotional damage and legal disasters.

Even secular psychology admits that in hypnosis, the critical thinking part of the brain is bypassed, making the subject highly suggestible. This opens the door to ungodly influences and even demonic access, especially when guided by spiritually blind or occult-involved practitioners.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
—1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

๐Ÿ˜ฑ Is Hypnosis Dangerous Spiritually?

Yes. Hypnosis creates a passive mental state—altered consciousness—where one suspends rational thought and willpower, making it a spiritual portal. This is not simply relaxation. In fact, trance states are nearly identical to those reached during occult rituals, yoga meditation, or witchcraft ceremonies. It is a counterfeit of biblical peace.

When someone willingly surrenders their mind—even temporarily—they are violating spiritual boundaries that God designed to protect the soul. A person in hypnosis can unknowingly come under spiritual influence or control.

Furthermore, channeling, common in hypnosis history and New Age healing, is forbidden by God. When one seeks healing from a hypnotherapist who invokes "inner guides" or uses regression to contact a past life, the session becomes not only unscriptural but demonic.

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them.”
—Leviticus 19:31 (ESV)

๐Ÿ’€ Demonic Manifestations Tied to Hypnosis

Christians who undergo hypnotherapy—or whose ancestors have—can experience demonic manifestations and strongholds in the following areas:

  • Mental fog and confusion

  • Sleep paralysis and nightmares

  • Loss of willpower or compulsions

  • Hearing voices or “spirit guides”

  • Persistent fear, anxiety, or depression

  • Unexplainable emotional or health problems

  • Blockages in prayer or reading Scripture

Hypnosis can open what deliverance ministers call demonic soul gateways, especially if the person was hypnotized to revisit trauma, “talk to the child inside,” or speak to deceased loved ones. These acts can mimic or even become necromancy.

Even if you did not knowingly participate in hypnosis, ancestral involvement through Freemasonry, pagan rituals, New Age practices, or occult healing may have opened generational doors.

๐Ÿงผ Breaking Free from Hypnosis-Linked Strongholds

If you’ve participated in hypnosis or hypnotherapy—or suspect ancestral ties—you can be free through repentance, renunciation, and deliverance.

๐Ÿ™ Warfare Prayer of Renunciation

“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. I renounce and repent of every involvement I or my ancestors had in hypnosis, hypnotherapy, channeling, or occult healing. I break all generational curses and soul ties related to trance states and surrendering my will. I close every door that was opened to Satan through altered states of consciousness. I command every demonic spirit that entered through hypnosis to go now in the name of Jesus Christ. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus and declare my mind, will, and emotions belong fully to the Lord. Amen.”

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
—James 4:7 (KJV)

✅ What Should Christians Do?

  1. Avoid hypnosis completely—even for “medical” or “Christian” purposes. There is no biblical justification for surrendering your mind to anyone but God.

  2. Repent for past involvement in hypnotherapy, or for exposing your children to it through school or counseling.

  3. Anoint yourself and your home with oil and pray over your mind daily (Isaiah 26:3).

  4. Get deliverance prayer to remove residual strongholds from hypnosis.

  5. Educate others on the dangers hidden behind hypnosis—especially in churches, counseling, and schools.

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
—John 8:32 (NKJV)

Channeling & Mediums: A Demonic Doorway Disguised as Healing

Channeling & Mediums: A Demonic Doorway Disguised as Healing

Channeling & Mediums: A Demonic Doorway Disguised as Healing

What Does the Bible Say About Mediums and Channeling?

In today’s culture, channeling is marketed as a harmless or even spiritual practice—part of the New Age movement's toolbox for "healing" and enlightenment. However, this ancient occult practice is nothing new. It is spiritism dressed in modern clothes. Channeling is a dangerous doorway into spiritual bondage, opening one’s soul to deception, torment, and possession.

What Is Channeling?

Channeling, often called mediumship, involves a person allowing a supernatural spirit (referred to as a “spirit guide”) to speak or act through them. These spirits may claim to be deceased loved ones, ascended masters, aliens, or enlightened beings from other dimensions.

Practices include:

  • Automatic writing

  • Speaking in altered voices

  • Inner dictation

  • Spirit healing through touch

  • Receiving teachings or psychic revelations

These methods are deceptive and open participants to demonic control. The spirits may appear helpful or wise at first—but eventually torment, deceive, and destroy the individual.

Roots of Channeling

  • Origin: The roots of channeling can be traced to ancient paganism, spiritism, and shamanistic cultures such as Babylon, Egypt, and India.

  • Founders and Influencers: Prominent figures like Madame Helena Blavatsky (Theosophy), Alice Bailey, and Jane Roberts (Seth Material) are often credited with popularizing channeling in the West.

  • Beliefs: These figures were deeply involved in occultism, Hindu mysticism, and Luciferian philosophies. Many denied the biblical God, instead embracing pantheism or Gnosticism.

  • Purpose: Channeling aims to bypass the Holy Spirit and access “higher knowledge,” “healing,” and “enlightenment” from other realms.

Make no mistake—these so-called spirit guides are fallen angels, familiar spirits, and demons masquerading as beings of light.

“And no wonder, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”
– 2 Corinthians 11:14

How Does Channeling Work?

Channelers often use:

  • Meditation

  • Hypnosis

  • Visualization

  • Altered states of consciousness

  • Breathwork

  • Crystals or sacred objects

These practices weaken the soul’s defenses, opening spiritual portals for entities to enter. Once permission is granted, demons can take control over speech, thoughts, and even physical movement—much like a puppet master.

What seems like “healing” may be temporary relief masking long-term spiritual destruction. People eventually experience:

  • Nightmares

  • Oppression

  • Emotional breakdowns

  • Suicide ideation

  • Hearing voices

  • Self-harm urges

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”
– John 10:10

What Does the Bible Say About Mediums?

The Bible strictly forbids mediumship, necromancy, and consulting with the dead. God considers these practices abominations.

“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”
– Leviticus 19:31

“There shall not be found among you anyone...who practices divination, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer... or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.”
– Deuteronomy 18:10–12

King Saul sought out a medium in 1 Samuel 28, and the result was spiritual disaster and death. God had turned from him because he disobeyed God’s commands and opened himself to demonic influence.

Dangers and Demonic Manifestations

By opening themselves to spirit entities, channelers invite:

  • Tormenting spirits

  • Fear and paranoia

  • Loss of control

  • Sickness

  • Accidents

  • Addictions

  • Mental torment or suicide attempts

Some experience multiple voices speaking through them, or see phantom shadows, hearing growls, or being touched or manipulated physically. Others report intense pain in their bodies, particularly during times of prayer, showing demonic backlash.

These demonic spirits often:

  • Demand increasing levels of surrender

  • Mock God and Scripture

  • Isolate people from Christian community

  • Replace God’s voice with false guidance

“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.”
– 1 Corinthians 10:21

Generational Open Doors

Even if you’ve never practiced channeling, you may still suffer the effects if a parent, grandparent, or ancestor did. The Bible speaks of iniquity being passed down:

“...visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations...”
– Exodus 20:5

This is why some Christians who never personally dabbled in the occult still battle inexplicable fear, torment, or confusion—the door was opened by someone in their bloodline.

Deliverance and Freedom Through Christ

If you’ve ever:

  • Visited a psychic, medium, or spirit healer

  • Participated in channeling or automatic writing

  • Read channeled books (e.g., A Course in Miracles, Seth Speaks)

  • Practiced meditation with spirit guides

...you may need deliverance and healing.

PRAYER OF RENUNCIATION:

“Heavenly Father, I repent for all involvement in channeling, spiritism, and contacting the dead. I renounce all agreements made knowingly or unknowingly with spirit guides. I break the power of demonic strongholds and familiar spirits in Jesus’ name. Lord Jesus, wash me with Your blood and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I ask for healing and deliverance in every part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.”
– John 8:36

The Spiritual Dangers Behind Eastern Meditation

The Spiritual Dangers Behind Eastern Meditation

The Spiritual Dangers Behind Eastern Meditation

๐Ÿง˜‍♀️ SPIRITUAL DANGERS OF MEDITATION – WHAT CHRISTIANS MUST KNOW

What Is Meditation—and Where Did It Come From?

Meditation is often promoted in today's society as a method of stress relief and self-improvement. From corporate offices to public schools to churches, it’s being repackaged as a neutral, even “Christian,” practice. But is it truly harmless?

Historically, meditation is not a biblical practice—it is rooted in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism, and it was introduced to the West through Eastern mysticism and yoga. It is inseparable from the spiritual beliefs of pagan religions.

Psalm 1:2 says we are to “meditate on His law day and night,” but biblical meditation is about thinking deeply on God’s Word, not emptying your mind or repeating mantras.

Eastern meditation's goal is to alter the state of consciousness to experience "oneness with the universe"—a pantheistic lie. It denies the personal, holy God of the Bible and opens the door to deception and demonic influence.

Types of Eastern Meditation Practices That Open Demonic Gates:

1. Mantra Meditation

A mantra is a repeated word or phrase—usually in Sanskrit—invoked to empty the mind or summon a “higher state.” The word “OM” is the most common mantra and represents the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—false gods.

Even when using a “positive phrase,” the technique is mechanical chanting, forbidden in Scripture:

“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.” – Matthew 6:7

These repetitive chants can act as spiritual keys that open your soul to unclean spirits.

2. Breath Awareness / Spiritual Breathing

Popularized in churches as “spiritual breathing,” this technique originated from prana breathing in Hinduism. The concept of prana is a life force (akin to chi) believed to flow through energy channels. But this is New Age energy manipulation, not of God.

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.” – Psalm 150:6

We are not to focus inward but upward—to Christ. Techniques that instruct you to “breathe in peace and breathe out stress” create a passive trance that invites spiritual intrusion.

3. Rosary Beads and Prayer Wheels

These tools—like Tibetan prayer wheels or Catholic rosary beads—count repetitive prayers, often while invoking saints or false gods. This is not biblical prayer but necromancy and idolatry.

“There shall not be found among you... a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.” – Deuteronomy 18:10-11

Who Founded These Practices?

  • Hinduism’s origins date back over 3,000 years in India with practices devoted to gods like Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma.

  • Buddha, originally Siddhartha Gautama, rejected the idea of a personal God and promoted meditation to escape suffering.

  • Taoist monks in China used meditative breathing to align with nature and open up to spirits.

All of these founders rejected the God of the Bible. Why should Christians follow in their footsteps?

Why Is Meditation So Dangerous?

Meditation often induces a trance state, quiets the conscious mind, and invites spirit guides or "inner wisdom" to speak. These “guides” are familiar spirits, demons in disguise. The person may begin to receive visions, hear voices, or experience vibrations or energy moving through the body.

This opens the door to:

  • Spiritual oppression

  • Mental torment

  • Nightmares or sleep paralysis

  • Chronic health issues

  • Inability to pray or read the Bible

  • Sudden anger or lust problems

The book of Joshua says not to meditate without the Word.

Can Christians Be Affected If They Tried Meditation—or If Their Ancestors Did?

Yes. Even past exposure—one session of guided meditation or ancestral involvement—can leave a spiritual mark. The Bible shows sin can pass through generations:

“He punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” – Exodus 20:5

Unrepented participation in occult practices—even unknowingly—gives the enemy legal ground to attack.

What Happens After You Open That Door?

Many who have participated in Eastern or contemplative meditation experience:

  • Hearing voices

  • Spiritual confusion

  • Feelings of a presence in the room

  • Anxiety, panic attacks

  • Addiction to silence or altered states

  • Even psychosis or suicidal thoughts

These are not harmless side effects—they are signs of demonic oppression.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Deliverance and Healing Through Jesus Christ

If you have ever practiced any form of Eastern meditation, yoga, mantra prayer, or even if your ancestors did—you must renounce it.

๐Ÿ™ Deliverance Prayer:

“Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. I repent for participating in meditation practices that go against Your Word, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I renounce every mantra, every altered state, every false god invoked. I break every generational curse tied to meditation, yoga, Buddhism, Hinduism, and New Age practices. I command every unclean spirit that entered through these open doors to leave me now in Jesus’ name. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Restore my mind and spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

✝️ God's Word Is Sufficient

You don’t need “inner peace” through breathing techniques. The Prince of Peace lives inside every believer. You don’t need to “empty your mind”—you need to renew it through the Word.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2

Should Christians Use Homeopathic Medicine? Discover the Hidden Demonic Roots

Should Christians Use Homeopathic Medicine? Discover the Hidden Demonic Root

Should Christians Use Homeopathic Medicine? Discover the Hidden Demonic Root

๐Ÿšจ DANGERS OF HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE: WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST KNOW

Homeopathy is often labeled as “natural,” “holistic,” or “safe,” but what many Christians don’t realize is that its roots and practices are deeply spiritual—and not of God. This article reveals the hidden dangers behind homeopathy, its occult origins, and the demonic doors it may open when believers engage in or seek treatment from this modality.

⚠️ WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?

Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine that operates on the principle of “like cures like.” It suggests that a substance causing symptoms in a healthy person can be diluted and used to treat similar symptoms in someone sick. Though it sounds harmless, the more diluted the substance becomes, the more potent it's believed to be—despite being chemically untraceable.

Remedies are created by serial dilution with vigorous shaking, known as succussion—a process believed to "release the energy or spirit" of the substance. This spiritual energy supposedly stimulates the body’s self-healing. But the question must be asked: what kind of spirit is being released?

๐Ÿง™‍♂️ WHO FOUNDED HOMEOPATHY?

Homeopathy was founded by Samuel Hahnemann in the late 1700s. He was a German physician who eventually rejected much of conventional medicine. His writings and diaries reveal deep involvement in mysticism, alchemy, astrology, and a pantheistic worldview (belief that God is in everything). He denied the deity of Jesus Christ and embraced spiritual principles rooted in Enlightenment occultism.

Hahnemann stated:

“The homeopathic system of medicine develops for the first time the true nature of diseases and the spirit-like dynamis of the body.”

This statement alone exposes the spiritual danger. He wasn't relying on Jesus Christ as the Healer but believed in a spiritual “dynamis” or life-force energy—an occult belief shared by Reiki, acupuncture, and other New Age practices.

๐ŸŒ CULTURAL & RELIGIOUS ROOTS

Homeopathy is rooted in Eastern philosophy and occult traditions. It embraces ideas found in Taoism, animism, and energy healing. It denies the sovereignty of God in healing and introduces energy-based treatments that bypass faith in Jesus Christ.

Instead of submitting sickness to the Lord and seeking His healing, practitioners depend on remedies linked to energetic vibrations, homeopathic spirits, and personal "symptom pictures" meant to manipulate the body’s energy field.

๐Ÿ‘️ PURPOSE OF THE MODALITY

Homeopathy aims to stimulate self-healing by awakening a dormant inner force. This “inner healer” concept parallels New Age teachings and rejects biblical truth. Scripture teaches that all healing comes from the Lord (Exodus 15:26), not through manipulating spiritual forces.

Practitioners, knowingly or unknowingly, may tap into unclean spiritual realms when prescribing or administering homeopathic remedies.

๐Ÿ“– SCRIPTURAL WARNINGS

The Bible is clear that believers are not to engage with spiritual systems outside of God’s authority.

  • Leviticus 19:31 – “Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”

  • 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 – “What fellowship can light have with darkness? ... Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord.”

  • Deuteronomy 18:10-12 – “Let no one be found among you... who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens... Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.”

Homeopathy is not just science; it's spiritual manipulation masked as natural medicine.

๐Ÿ‘ฟ DEMONIC MANIFESTATIONS IN CHRISTIANS

We have ministered to countless believers who developed spiritual oppression, torment, confusion, insomnia, chronic illnesses, and blockages in prayer or intimacy with God—all after using homeopathic remedies or visiting practitioners.

In some deliverance sessions, we discovered demonic spirits entered through:

  • Taking homeopathic drops

  • Visiting practitioners involved in Reiki or New Age

  • Inheriting the practice through ancestors

  • Having homeopathy administered during childbirth or childhood

These spirits often manifest through fear, anxiety, depression, or resistance to the things of God. Some report blockages in reading Scripture, sudden rebellion, or addiction to alternative medicine practices.

๐Ÿ‘ช GENERATIONAL OPEN DOORS

If your ancestors practiced homeopathy, witchcraft, Freemasonry, or Eastern healing arts, these open doors may have come down your bloodline. Even without direct involvement, the enemy seeks legal access through generational sins (Exodus 20:5).

This is why it is vital to break soul ties and renounce any agreements—known or unknown—with these occult systems.

๐Ÿ™ DELIVERANCE PRAYER FOR FREEDOM

Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I repent for any involvement in homeopathy, knowingly or unknowingly. I renounce its founder, Samuel Hahnemann, and every occult spirit tied to this practice. I break every generational curse, soul tie, and agreement with spirits of witchcraft, pharmakeia, energy healing, and deception. I command every unclean spirit connected to homeopathy to leave me now in Jesus' name. Cleanse my body, soul, and spirit by the blood of the Lamb. Holy Spirit, fill me and heal me completely—only You are my Healer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Is Feng Shui Evil?

Is Feng Shui Evil?

Is Feng Shui Evil?

Feng Shui, meaning "the way of wind and water," is an ancient Chinese art of placement that dates back over 4,500 years. Originally developed as a way to harmonize people with their environment, Feng Shui aims to create balance, attract prosperity, and ensure peace through the strategic positioning of buildings, furniture, and even gravesites. But beneath the surface of this practice lies a deeper spiritual problem—one that Christians must recognize and avoid.

Feng Shui is not merely about aesthetic arrangement. Historically, it was used to ward off evil spirits and avoid misfortune by reading the spiritual flow of nature. Traditional Feng Shui practitioners used a Luo Pan, a compass-like tool with magnetic and seasonal markers, to determine the right direction for homes, businesses, and burial plots. These placements were believed to please or offend invisible spiritual forces that could bring blessings—or curses—to an individual or family.

By the 12th century, Feng Shui was deeply integrated into Chinese culture. A grave placed in the wrong direction was thought to bring disaster to a deceased person’s descendants. A home facing the wrong way could block prosperity. This was not mere superstition—it was a deeply spiritual system based on appeasing nature spirits and manipulating unseen energy called “Chi.”

Chi is believed to be the life-force energy that flows through all living things and environments. Feng Shui practitioners strive to balance Chi by rearranging space, using colors, mirrors, and objects like water fountains or crystals. These actions influence mood, success, health, and relationships. However, the root of this practice is not grounded in the Word of God but in pagan and animistic traditions.

The Bible is clear that believers are not to consult with spirits, follow after other gods, or participate in occult practices—even if they appear helpful or harmless. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, “There shall not be found among you anyone who...practices divination...or interprets omens...For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.” Feng Shui, though marketed as design or wellness, is deeply rooted in these forbidden practices.

When someone uses Feng Shui to alter the energy in their home, they are not working with neutral forces. They are engaging with spiritual forces that the Bible identifies as demonic. The apostle Paul wrote, “What fellowship has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14). Christians are called to walk in the light of Christ—not to manipulate unseen spiritual energies in hopes of bettering their lives.

Many who dabble in Feng Shui experience anxiety, confusion, and spiritual torment over time. These are not mere psychological effects—they are symptoms of demonic oppression. When you open your life to these spiritual systems, you are giving the enemy legal access to your mind, emotions, and even physical space.

This is why deliverance and healing are often needed for those who have practiced Feng Shui or other New Age methods. Jesus said in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” Satan offers counterfeit peace and prosperity through systems like Feng Shui, but only Jesus Christ brings true and lasting freedom.

It takes a Christian who knows their authority in Christ to break these spiritual strongholds. Deliverance prayer, renouncing of past involvement, and standing on God’s Word are essential steps to freedom. Healing scriptures like Psalm 107:20—*“He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction”—*bring restoration to those who repent and turn back to God.

Take it seriously if you or someone you know has engaged in Feng Shui. Remove any objects, books, or symbols associated with it from your home. Repent before God and ask for forgiveness. Renounce the practice and ask Jesus to cleanse your home and heart. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill every area of your life. Jesus is not just a Savior—He is Deliverer, Healer, and Prince of Peace.

The enemy often disguises himself as an “angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). That’s why Christians must be spiritually discerning. What may look like harmless interior design may be a doorway to spiritual darkness. Don't be deceived by the pretty packaging—test everything by the Word of God.

It takes a Christian person who knows their authority to set you free from tormenting spirits.  It takes someone who knows how to apply the prayers of healing through healing scriptures.

Tae Kwon Do and Demonic Roots: Why Christians Must Stay Away

Tae Kwon Do and Demonic Roots: Why Christians Must Stay Away

Tae Kwon Do and Demonic Roots: Why Christians Must Stay Away

๐Ÿšซ What is Tae Kwon Do and Why Should Christians Avoid It?

Tae Kwon Do, translated as “The Way of the Foot and the Fist,” is a Korean martial art known for its high kicks and striking techniques. But beyond its physical appearance lies a dangerous spiritual philosophy rooted in pagan traditions. According to the Tae Kwon Do Bible, this modality incorporates Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, blending them into a so-called "moral and philosophical" discipline.

“The philosophical principles in Taekwondo include all of the essence of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism and are equivalent to conceptions of traditional oriental philosophy.” — Taekwondo Bible

The yin-yang symbol, commonly used in Tae Kwon Do, is a pagan symbol rooted in Taoism, representing a balance of light and darkness—good and evil coexisting. This is in direct opposition to Scripture:

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil…” — Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)

๐Ÿ•ฏ️ The Pagan Foundations of Tae Kwon Do

  • Founder: General Choi Hong Hi, a Korean military general and practitioner of Taekkyeon and Shotokan Karate, officially developed Tae Kwon Do in the 1940s.

  • Spirituality: He was heavily influenced by Eastern mysticism, drawing philosophical structure from Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.

  • Culture of Origin: Korea, steeped in shamanism and Eastern religious syncretism.

  • Beliefs & Deities: These religions worship false gods or practice self-deification, meditation, ancestor worship, and energy manipulation.

As a Christian, you cannot mix the holy with the profane:

“What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” — 2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” — Exodus 20:3 (KJV)

๐ŸŽฏ Purpose of Tae Kwon Do

Though often advertised as a way to build character, discipline, and self-defense, Tae Kwon Do’s true spiritual purpose is rooted in aligning oneself with universal chi (energy), inner harmony, and oneness—terms lifted from Eastern religions. Practicing the stances, meditations, or breathing rituals is a spiritual act, not just a physical one.

⚠️ The Demonic Consequences

When Christians engage in Tae Kwon Do or any martial art rooted in false religion:

  • They open spiritual gateways to demonic influence.

  • They align themselves with false gods, knowingly or unknowingly.

  • They suffer manifestations such as:

    • Depression

    • Anger or rage fits

    • Sudden rebellion in children

    • Nightmares or sleep paralysis

    • Spiritual stagnation and prayerlessness

    • Inability to read the Bible or worship

Even if you or your children do not believe in the philosophies behind the martial art, participation alone is agreement with its spiritual roots:

“Neither give place to the devil.” — Ephesians 4:27 (KJV)
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

๐Ÿงฌ Generational Involvement: Did Your Ancestors Practice Martial Arts?

If your parents, grandparents, or ancestors participated in martial arts rooted in Eastern mysticism, it can create generational spiritual ties—legal ground for demons. This includes Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Karate, Tai Chi, and others.

You may be suffering spiritually or physically because of these ancestral agreements:

  • Repeating cycles of sickness or failure

  • Unexplained chronic fatigue

  • Trouble maintaining a spiritual life

  • Recurring oppression or fear

๐Ÿ™ Deliverance Prayer

Heavenly Father,
I repent for any involvement I or my ancestors had with Tae Kwon Do or other martial arts rooted in Eastern religions. I renounce all philosophies of Taoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism. I renounce the yin-yang symbol and any spiritual power behind it. I break every generational curse and sever all soul ties with these practices. Cleanse me with the blood of Jesus. Fill every place where those spirits once occupied with the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

✝️ Final Thoughts

Tae Kwon Do may seem harmless, but behind the kicks and belts is a spiritual system that conflicts with the Word of God. Don't open demonic doors in the name of self-defense or discipline. Choose the Armor of God over martial arts.

“Put on the whole armor of God…” — Ephesians 6:11 (KJV)

Why Karate Is Spiritually Dangerous for Christians: Exposing Its Zen and Demonic Roots

๐Ÿšซ Karate's Dangerous Spiritual Roots – A Christian Warning

๐Ÿšซ Karate's Dangerous Spiritual Roots – A Christian Warning

Karate may look like a disciplined sport or self-defense strategy. But under its polished surface lies a dark spiritual heritage that Christians cannot ignore. The word karate means "empty hand", yet its full name, karate-do, implies a "way of life." This “way” leads not to Christ, but to the teachings of Zen Buddhism, yin-yang philosophy, and demonic empowerment masquerading as discipline.

Karate’s core origins go back to Zen Buddhism, Taoism, and Hindu-rooted ascetic practices developed to align the body with false spiritual enlightenment.

๐Ÿง˜‍♂️ Buddhism, Zen, and the Martial Arts Connection

Karate evolved from Shaolin Kung Fu, which began in the Shaolin Temple in China around 500 A.D., developed under the guidance of Bodhidharma, an Indian Buddhist monk. Bodhidharma introduced Ekkin-Kyo, a spiritual and physical training manual to enhance the endurance of Buddhist monks.

This spiritual root is not neutral. It is anti-Christ in its core:

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God...” — 1 John 4:1

Bodhidharma’s teachings weren’t just physical. They were mystical and meant to help monks achieve “Enlightenment”, which Buddhism defines as the extinction of desire and ego, or the ‘self.’ This is in direct opposition to Scripture, which teaches that we are fearfully and wonderfully made individuals before God (Psalm 139:14).

Zen Buddhism teaches the illusion of self, detachment from reality, and union with the cosmic whole—pantheism and idolatry. The “peace” and “self-control” promoted in karate arise from false gods, not the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23).

☯️ Yin-Yang: The Occult Philosophy Behind Karate

Karate also embraces yin and yang, the belief that good and evil, light and darkness, are equal and necessary forces. But God’s Word is clear:

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil...” — Isaiah 5:20

This dualism is a satanic counterfeit of biblical truth. Jesus Christ said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6

Karate subtly teaches that truth is found in balance, not in Christ. By practicing or embracing this modality, believers inadvertently submit to a demonic worldview, one that equates evil with good.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Manifestations of Demonic Entry Through Karate

When Christians, or their ancestors, engage in martial arts like karate, it opens spiritual doors to demonic oppression:

1. Spirit of Violence and Control

Though promoted as self-defense, karate often births a spirit of aggression, rebellion, and pride. Its aggressive techniques are not birthed from God's Spirit but from a carnal and sometimes supernatural source.

2. False Peace and Meditation

Zen-based breathing and meditative practices open the mind to altered states, inviting spirit guides, which are familiar spirits masquerading as wisdom or peace.

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14

3. Emotional and Physical Disturbances

Many report insomnia, anger issues, migraines, and uncontrollable rage after training in martial arts—spiritual manifestations that result from demonic entry.

4. Generational Curses

If your ancestors practiced Eastern martial arts, the iniquity of idolatry may still bring curses upon the family line (Exodus 20:5). Demons often gain legal ground through ancestral practices.

๐Ÿงพ Questions Every Christian Must Ask About Karate

  • Who founded karate? Bodhidharma, a Zen Buddhist monk.

  • What was his spirituality? Occult Eastern mysticism based on Buddhism and Taoism.

  • What culture did it originate from? Pagan India and China.

  • What were the beliefs behind it? Rejection of self, merging with universal consciousness, yin-yang dualism.

  • Who is their god? Not the God of the Bible—worship revolves around idols, impersonal forces, and false deities.

  • Why is it used? For self-mastery, enlightenment, spiritual detachment—not for glorifying Christ.

๐Ÿ›‘ Can Karate Be Christianized?

Some argue that you can practice karate "just for fitness" or use it as a witnessing tool. But the spiritual DNA of karate cannot be separated from its pagan roots.

“What concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?” — 2 Corinthians 6:15

Trying to "clean up" karate is like trying to baptize witchcraft. You can’t Christianize what was birthed in rebellion against God.

๐Ÿ™ Deliverance Prayer from Martial Arts Involvement

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I repent for myself and my ancestors who practiced or submitted to karate or any martial arts tied to Zen Buddhism, Taoism, or other false religions. I renounce every occult philosophy, every spirit of violence, pride, self-exaltation, and any kundalini or dragon spirit that entered through these practices. I break every curse and soul tie to these systems and command all demons attached to karate to leave me now in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, fill every area where darkness once resided. Amen.

✝️ Freedom Is Found in Jesus Alone

Only Jesus Christ offers true power over the enemy—not by mastering moves, but by submitting to the Holy Spirit, wielding the Word of God, and walking in humility and obedience.

“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4
