The name "Metatron" is not found in the canonical Holy Bible. Instead, it originates from Jewish mystical literature like the Kabbalah and Talmudic traditions. Metatron is described as a powerful angel, sometimes called the "scribe of God," who supposedly records every deed on earth. However, these stories are based on extra-biblical writings, not the inspired Word of God.

The spiritual danger arises when people accept such legends as truth or equate them with Scripture. The Bible warns us in Colossians 2:18:
