Higher Consciousness: A Biblical Warning About New Age Awakening, False Enlightenment, and Spiritual Deception

What Are “Gypsy Curses”?

“Gypsy curses” are often described in folklore as spoken curses, evil-eye curses, fortune-teller threats, or occult declarations meant to bring fear, misfortune, sickness, poverty, confusion, relationship breakdown, barrenness, torment, or destruction. Basically, all curses, voodoo, witchcraft, and Gypsy and more, are all against God, and are evil curses that can be broken.

Some examples people may fear include:

A curse of sickness

A curse of bad luck or repeated misfortune

Gematria, geomancy, and geomantic figures are occult and divinatory practices used to seek hidden knowledge, spiritual meaning, direction, predictions, or supernatural answers apart from God. These practices may sound intellectual, ancient, mathematical, symbolic, or mystical, but when they are used to interpret destiny, receive guidance, uncover hidden messages, or predict future outcomes, they become divination.

God’s Word warns His people not to seek hidden knowledge through forbidden spiritual systems. Christians are called to seek the Lord, obey His Word, and be led by the Holy Spirit—not numbers, symbols, sand patterns, rocks, soil, or occult figures.

What Is Gematria?

In geomancy, a person may toss sand, rocks, soil, or create random dots and then interpret the resulting patterns. Britannica explains that the practice often includes asking a question, casting points and figures, and interpreting the figures arranged in a chart or tableau.

What Are Geomantic Figures?

Geomantic figures are symbols used in divinatory geomancy. They are made from patterns of single or double dots. Britannica explains that geomancers create dotted lines and use odd or even numbers to form figures; the figures are then placed into a divinatory tableau for interpretation.

Britannica also notes that each of the possible 16 figures may have names and attributes connected to planets, zodiac signs, elements, time, gender, emotions, and orientation.

This shows how geomancy often becomes mixed with astrology, elemental spirituality, symbols, and occult interpretation.

Prayer of Renunciation

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I repent for participating in energy healing, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, chakra healing, aura cleansing, crystal healing, pranic healing, sound healing, frequency healing, quantum healing, universal life force, spirit guides, Reiki symbols, attunements, pendulum healing, and every New Age or occult healing practice.

I renounce every agreement I made knowingly or unknowingly with false healing, familiar spirits, occult power, witchcraft, divination, idolatry, false peace, and counterfeit comfort.

I break every curse connected to energy healing, Reiki, chakras, aura work, occult symbols, healing attunements, spirit guides, New Age healing, ancestral occultism, and false spiritual power. I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord, my Healer, my Deliverer, my Protector, and my only source of spiritual truth and healing.

Every spirit of occult healing, familiar spirits, witchcraft, divination, infirmity, fear, torment, confusion, idolatry, false gifting, and New Age deception must leave me now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit, cleanse me, restore my discernment, close every occult door, and fill every place where darkness had access. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Final Word

Energy healing may look gentle, peaceful, and loving, but if it draws from universal life force, chakras, aura work, spirit guides, symbols, attunements, or hidden energy apart from the Holy Spirit, it is not biblical healing.

You do not need energy healing. You need Jesus Christ.

Exodus 15:26 KJV says:

“I am the LORD that healeth thee.”

Many forms of energy healing teach that a practitioner can channel, clear, balance, or transfer universal life force energy through the hands, chakras, aura, symbols, or vibrations.

This includes Reiki, chakra healing, aura cleansing, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, crystal healing, and other New Age practices.

But God’s Word never tells us to seek healing through universal energy, spirit guides, chakras, or hidden forces.

Deuteronomy 18 warns against divination, witchcraft, enchantment, and familiar spirits.

Leviticus 19 says not to seek familiar spirits because they defile.

A Christian who dabbles in energy healing can open doors to confusion, false peace, familiar spirits, fear, infirmity, and spiritual bondage.

Jesus Christ is your Healer.
